The cabin was amazing, comfortable, clean and in a great area. The grandkids loved seeing all the wildlife including a pelican trying to get a fish out of the pond. It had everything we needed and more. We may be celebrating our anniversary there every year. Thank you for being amazing hists.
The 4 days we stayed at Greer, we used the community center for our daughter's wedding. The community center had everything we needed, was clean and well designed. The marriage ceremony took place at a nearby reservoir which provided the perfect place to take pictures and the weather turned out to be a little windy but warm. Our stay at the cabin went well. The appliances were like new, lighting great, plumbing fixtures like new and we got to watch World Series one night. Check in and check out procedures were well written although we struggled a little with the door lock and unlock procedure. The bed I slept in was a little soft for me but fine for my wife. Another family couple shared the cabin with us and was comfortable living space for all of us. The cabin location was conveniently located close to Molly Butler Restaurant for an afternoon meal. The fact that the family couple could bring there two small dogs with them was a big plus also.
First time in Greer and absolutely loved it! Beautiful weather, nice people and the cabin we stayed in was amazing! The cabin has everything you need. Very well kept and clean. Thank you Chris and Kate for your hospitality !
An enjoy stay in the cool pines of Greer. The cabin was exactly what we expected and very clean. A very enjoyable stay and would consider coming back again.
Very happy with the rental. Everything was there that we needed. One night was 12deg and the house was warm and comfortable. Used fireplace only one night as there was some smoking (followed instructions on lighting) and eye irritation. No big deal. Last year we took out our fireplace and installed a pellet stove, brought old fire grate up for your unit. Thanks again
Celebrated our 33rd anniversary. Cabin was great. Really enjoyed the fireplace and all the amenities.
The only downside was that we were in between seasons and most of the restaurants were closed.
property was clean, comfortable and had everything needed and more. Called the owner twice and left message. Calls were returned in less than 5 minutes. very helpful both times. Loved this place and will use again and refer others. Thank you for a pleasant trip to Greer
Imside beautiful noty pine ceiling walls floor.very clean .bed was comfortable kitchen jad the things we would need.My brother and i went to eat out.We had been fishing .wind was blowing so bad Monday we did not stay the next night.
The little cabin was perfect for our needs. Great location. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Great hiking trails. Kate responded quickly to any questions we had. We saw wildlife out the window of the cabin or walked into town at night to see the local elk herd. Definitely would stay again.
Wanted to get out of heat 4 anniversary. What s perfect place 4 two :) We loved the cabin & weather was perfect! Communication w property mgr was great too. Thx
We really enjoyed our stay, and in large part, credit is due to your cabin. We are particular about cleanliness, including odors or smells. Your cabin's cleanliness was one of the best of many rentals we have stayed at.
A couple highlights from our Greer visit include sighting of deer and elk, prime rib and baked potatoes dinner at Molly Butler, and being able to walk the path along main street the entire length of the town.
Thank you for opening your cabin to us.

The cabin we stayed in was cozy and had everything we needed. Comfy beds. Negatives: it is right off the Main Street in Greer so you will hear loud ATVs driving up and down the Street several times a day, especially on weekends. Also, We didn’t realize how close we were to the 2nd cabin. A very large party of approx. 12 individuals (adults and children) were there the first two nights, making it not very private for us.
The property was nice and clean, and a good location. The only drawback which has nothing to do with the owners is the people stayong at the cabins next to this property can ger quite loud. Overall ot was noce and fit our needs
Enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the deer resting in the vegetation next door.would definitely return.

About the host
Hosted by Chris & Kate Darling
Our family lives in Tucson but we have family roots back East. Chris is an avid cyclist, SxS rider and skier. Kate loves to ski too and is an avid gardener, reader and nature lover. Nick will fish from sunup to sundown if permitted. He will argue that we really bought the property in Greer for the trout pond. He loves to ski and play baseball. Elizabeth is an artist and her favorite thing about Greer is watching the dogs be free to run and play. We love our dogs Macy and Jazzy and the Boston Red Sox. Go Sox!
Why they chose this property
We have been visiting Greer for years and it has been a dream of ours to have our own place here. Now we have a home away from home in a beautiful place that is cool and green in the summer, has fantastic fall colors in autumn, is close to skiing in the winter, and has peace and quiet year round.
What makes this property unique
In town, pet friendly, adjacent pond, close to trail heads.
