PROPERTY SUMMARY:
Made up of two distinct apartment buildings – The Podium and The Cloud – Upper House is the master work of award-winning Jackson Clements Burrows Architects. The Podium structure provides elevated serenity from the dynamic Melbourne arterial of Swanston Street, while The Cloud perches above the low-lying Carlton skyline, offering intimate views of Australia’s cultural capital, Melbourne.
THE SPACE:
Our apartment is a multi-residential complex located within Melbourne, Australia, on the south east corner of Swanston Street and Queensberry Street in Carlton. The apartment complex is made up of two distinct apartment buildings, The Podium and The Cloud. With a total of 17 storeys, the Cloud apartments on floors 12–16 sit above the Podium apartments which make up the first ten floors, giving the impression of levitation. In the middle of these two structures on the 11th floor is the Observatory, a 500-square metre communal area that comprises a lounge, gym, entertainment area and external outdoor spaces with surrounding views of the city.
GUEST ACCESS:
Guests will have access to a well-appointed bedroom with closets to store clothing and belongings. The apartment also has:
1. Bathroom - amenities (including body wash and shampoo) will be fully provided for all guests
2. Living room with sofa and HD TV
3. FREE Wifi for internet access
4. Kitchen with stovetop, fridge and freezer
5. In-built dishwasher

THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
Being in the heart of the CBD , our location grants convenient access to many entertainment, restaurant and laneway venues, including but not limited to: 1. Hardware Lane 2. Melbourne Central 3. Queen Victoria Market 4. QV Shopping Center 5. Emporium Shopping Center 6. H&M at GPO 7. Bourke Street malls 8. Chinatown 9. Princess Theatre/Regent Theatre 10. Flinders lane 11. DFO at Southern Cross 12. Crown Entertainment Complex 13. South Wharf (DFO, many restaurants along the pier) 14. Docklands 15. Etihad Stadium 16. Hamer Hall (concert venue) 17. South Yarra (via Melbourne central Station). All these locations and more (with the exception of South Yarra) are well within walking distance of Upper House. You will never have to worry about paying expensive taxi fares to get to these places.
GETTING AROUND:
Trams run along Swanston Street right at the entrance of the apartment and are free within the boundaries of the city zone. The nearest train station is at Melbourne Central. There is street parking available at the front of the apartment, as well as at 111 Queensberry Street, adjacent to our apartment, with affordable parking rates. Secure parking is available at Greenco Parking Lot at 17 Cardigan Street (just one street down). Parking lots nearby to the apartment can also be located using Parkhound.
