Outstanding in Every Way

Property is wonderful, clean, great layout, great location! Had a group of law students and coaches in LA for a trial competition. Layout of house is perfect for our group of 4 students and 2 coaches. Kitchen and living area, as well as multiple outdoor options really made the trip memorable for our team. Had several meals, as well as simply hanging out together that would not have happened otherwise. Philip is a fantastic host. House had everything we could need. Beds were great, bathrooms are modern and super clean. Do love the Viking stove. Just a wonderful experience. The only place that I will stay when in LA. Many thanks to Philip for an easy process and a great place!

Perfect Home in a Perfect Location

Spacious and comfortable home in walking distance to the beach and neighborhood restaurants and shops. The decor was coastal cottage with comfortable, overstuffed furniture and decorated with intentional style to make you feel at home. The beds were very comfortable, master bath with jetted tub was huge and a welcome relaxation at end of the day, water pressure was great, kitchen is large complete with 6-burner Viking gas stove with a butcher top island for hanging around with a group, many board games, ping pong table in separate room was great fun, clean gas grill on roof top deck was a welcomed find, and complete with beach amenities to choose from. My only regret is we could not stay longer.

Wonderful place

Extremely nice home, and well equipped. Three couples and three young adult grandkids had plenty of beds and and beautiful great room. Well equipped for younger, small children as well. Being from the desert with 110+ degrees really enjoyed the 75 every day

Beautiful, comfortable house in great location

7 of us (ages 9 to 77) stayed at this lovely, well-appointed home for a family graduation. The house was spacious, clean, comfortable, and in a great location. We made use of the beach chairs and boogie boards, and the kids loved the pool table. Definitely recommend for a family gathering.

Venice Beach House

We traveled with another family to Venice Beach and spent a week in this lovely beach house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is in a great location, we walked to the beach and restaurants. The host was prompt in responding and very helpful. We had a great visit!

Exceptional Home

This is a fabulous home situated in lovely neighborhood, with easy access to places in Venice and Santa Monica. From the moment you walk inside, this stunning home is filled with light and art. We traveled with our family, including a toddler, and we enjoyed the openness ability to enjoy time together in the main area. The access to Abbott Kinney and the nearby Canal Market were especially nice. The owner was very helpful and super responsive when we had questions. The home combination of modern conveniences with some vintage charm. The primary bedroom is its own retreat - fireplace, office area, huge closet, and a shower with the best water pressure ever. Great stay with plans to return.

Fun Girlfriends Getaway!

There were 7 of us and we enjoyed the home! I would say the listing accurately reflects the home. We didn't use the washer/dryer or the ping pong table so can't speak to either of those things. Parking was never an issue which sort of blew my mind. We always found a spot for our HUGE rental SUV. Close proximity to so many great spots! Be sure to visit the boutiques on Abbot Kinney! Was a great time!

My family’s stay

Highly recommend this home! Plenty of space for our group of 10! It was a quick little trip to the beach, Abbott Kinney, restaurants, shopping and to the Venice boardwalk. There are plenty of things to do close by! We didn’t need to rent a car, just used Uber for places that we wanted to go that weren’t within walking distance. All around a wonderful place and host! Highly recommend and plan to return!

Great location for those looking to explore LA

Our extended family came to visit our 2 children attending UCLA. We were very impressed with the house and thought the residential neighborhood was very safe and quiet. We walked to the corner store for coffee, walked to Abbott Kinney as well as the Venice canals. The bikes were good for riding to the beach and along the strand. Easy drive to UCLA, Mailbu and airport. On street parking was plentiful. The 5 bedrooms worked great for our party of 9. The common space on the second floor was perfect for family meals, games and watching some football games. There was plenty of cooking pots/pans/serving dishes, etc to cook a big meal. Bonus room provided some friendly ping pong matches. Owner was very easy to communicate with, would highly recommend this home.
