Great location for exploring the greater Seattle area. Kelly is a thoughtful host and good communicator. She offered us an early check-in and a very detailed message with suggested restaurants and things to do/see nearby.
The property is much more spacious than the photos appear, and during our stay in June there was an additional sofa in the living area (not shown in current listing photos) providing even more room to enjoy.
Really appreciated the washer/dryer and detergent supplied. Went home with clean clothes. :)
Lots of kitchen equipment for meal prep. Nice coffee maker, grinder, toaster and appliances in general. Several bottles of shampoo, conditioner and plenty of towels provided. Also, loved the full length mirror in master.
Very private feeling with the fenced back yard and nice patio, chairs and grill available. Some street noise, of course, being in an urban area and very minimal sounds heard occasionally from upstairs. Enjoyed the lovely songs of birds in the neighborhood and view of Mt. Rainier from the front porch on a clear day.
During our stay, parking was very tight, and there were only one or two spaces available in a two block range at any given time, but we always found a spot.
A couple things I would suggest: a new, firmer, more supportive master (king) mattress. I'm 120 lbs and sunk pretty deeply into any area of the current mattress; sanitizing the washing machine and/or towels. The washer was a bit musty as were the towels.
Location was good proximity to bars and restaurants however the house was missing quite a few things. The fold out couch bed seemed broken, there weren’t enough linens for the pull out couch bed. We did not cook here but if you plan on doing meals here there we’re a lot of things missing from the kitchen.
The host was easy to communicate with.
They charge a big cleaning fee but ask that you do a lot of the cleaning on check out. Also it appears the comforters are not washed between guests. And leftover used towel from previous guest was left in the room hanging on the bed.
Basics like shampoo, conditioner, soap we’re not provided (there were several nearly empty bottles of shampoo left from previous guests). No coffee.. If you plan to cook you need to bring everything on your own(seasonings, salt pepper sugar ect). Beds are extremely soft, if you like plush beds, then great, they were too soft for our backs after long days of hiking.
For us this house was ok because we really just needed a place to crash for 2 nights, but it would have been nice if basic amenities like bath soap we’re provided and a warning that the 3rd bed was not in great condition would have changed our decision to stay there.
Kelly was an excellent host - east to reach and provided an amazing email introduction about Seattle and places to visit, restaurants and helpful tips. The neighbourhood was cozy and so was the place. Clean and better than the photos.
We found this property to be comfortable and roomy. It had everything we needed for our visit! We liked the quiet/safe neighborhood and it’s proximity to so many attractions! Appreciated all the recommendations from the owner as we checked out several restaurants nearby!!
Four of us stayed here and it was practically perfect in every way. Safe, quiet, convenient, walkable, etc etc.
So close to everywhere we needed to be and yet tucked away in a quiet neighborhood.
Kelly is communicative and provided us with a compendium of recommended restaurants and things to do. Our stay was way too short to take full advantage of the list for sure!
It was perfect for us and we were very thankful to have booked this place. I highly recommend it!
The apartment was comfortable and centrally located for what we wanted to do in Seattle. The only uncomfortable aspect of the stay was the non-functioning AC on the mini split. We could get the apartment to cool off at night by opening windows and using the provided fans.
We loved this property. It was outfitted with everything that we needed. The location was so close to Greenlake, Fremont, Wallingford, U-District, and Ballard which made it easy to explore these fun neighborhoods. Kelly was also great as a hosts. She provided quick responses and gave us so much information about nearby, local favorite spots.
We loved this apartment and location! The space has a lot of great historic charm and character and is BIG! A great overall experience and family vacation.
We find VRBO to be very easy to use. Kelly, the host, was so easy to communicate with and very friendly. We were traveling to Seattle to spend Christmas with our daughter, who lives 10 minutes from this home. Kelly let us know that it was ready early and allowed our daughter to go over and put the groceries in and be ready for us after a long day of travel.
It has a cute little yard (if it hadn’t been snowing it would be a great place to grill), and our grand-dog was able to enjoy the space, very secure.
It is much bigger than it actually looks. The kitchen had most everything we needed to prepare meals; the beds were comfy and our daughter and grand-dog slept on the couch (it does have a pullout). Even with only one bathroom, it worked out for us.
Thank you again Kelly😊
The property was very clean, well taken care of and very comfortable. It was perfect for us since we were moving my daughter into the dorms at the University of Washington. So easy to get over there quickly and centrally located to explore either downtown Seattle or areas north/south of the city. Parking was a bit challenging but if you were patient you could find a close spot. Kelly was very responsive and answered questions quickly and provided great insights on places to visit and try while we were there. Would definitely stay again when we visit.
Too bad we only needed to sleep here because the kitchen has everything you would ever need to make meals. The description is accurate. Location is amazing. The backyard is adorable and, if we had time, I would have liked to sit out there and read a book. Kelly is an unbelievable recommender and communicator. We come to Seattle a lot and I hope to stay here again. Thank you for evreything.
LOVED staying here! The pictures do not do it justice.. it’s so cute and much bigger than expected! We wanted safe, quiet, convenient, and AC and it checked all 4 boxes. We were able to easily find parking all times of the day, which was a big worry being in the city and having our toddler and all of his stuff with us. We were able to walk to different restaurants, breweries, parks, etc. The host provided tons of recommendations. The backyard was so nice. Can’t say enough good things.. hoping it’s available next time we’re in the area!!
The property was super! Good location close to gas works park, transit and restaurants. The house had character with all modern amenities including a private, cozy backyard, comfy beds, good kitchen and laundry. Would for sure recommend!!
My husband and I stayed at Kelly’s place in Fremont for 3 weeks while we scoped out neighbourhoods that we might move to next year, and it was a perfectly located spot for our two pups and us to get a feel for Fremont, Wallingford, and Green Lake.
Kelly was an exceptionally helpful host, and went out of her way to accommodate us. The apartment was MUCH more spacious than we expected, the kitchen was well appointed, and the location was exactly what we were looking for for our purposes. We would absolutely stay here again next time we’re in town, and highly recommend this space as a pet-friendly option in a perfect location.

Very Nice Comfortable Property!
We really enjoyed our stay here over the Thanksgiving holiday! One of the main reasons for booking this condo was that it had a full kitchen, as we planned to cook a good portion of the holiday meal, including the turkey! While the oven was a "bit" small, it worked for us. We DID have to bring some baking pans, etc from home, but overall the kitchen was nicely stocked One note to the owner: some good kitchen knives would be helpful. There were only two available, and both were dull. Many rentals we've stayed in offer a knife block with a selection of knives for cooking, etc. The location of the condo was perfect. The neighborhood was lovely and within walking distance of many places we wanted to go. Parking on the street was not a problem. The condo had plenty of room for my family, and we really enjoyed the excellent wifi and cable tv. The bed in the master was a bit soft for our taste, and my kids said the other bed was too hard. Oh well. We LOVED the small enclosed yard for our dog, and she enjoyed seeing the squirrels. I LOVED that the condo was all on one level. (The pictures on the web site make it appear that there is an upstairs, but that goes to another condo.) However, the eighteen stairs from the sidewalk into the condo were a bit of a challenge for someone with some mobility issues. It helped that there was a rail on both sets of stairs. Overall, we really loved this place! We would love to stay here again!
