Split-level home with 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. Spacious, well-equipped Kitchen, open floor plan with kitchen, family room, dining area and breakfast bar. Deck off family room with excellent view of Electric Peak and Sepulcher Mountain. Larger home excellent for large groups and families with children. Downstairs has one bedroom, reading/sleeping nook, full size pull-out sofa. Downstairs has one full bath and complete laundry facilities. Upstairs has two bedrooms and two baths. Upstairs family room has 55 inch flat screen, downstairs family room has 40 inch flat screen and master bedroom has 30 inch TV. Netflix and wireless internet. Desk area upstairs with mountain view for our guests that need computer time while on vacation.

Gardner cabin

My family and I stayed here for 5 nights for Christmas week and it was everything we wanted. Beautiful location with a very pretty view of the mountains. Plenty of kitchen space to cook for the family. Very short distance to Yellowstone hot springs and 30 minutes from Chico. Cabin was very clean and exactly as listed. Easy to find and check in check out process was simple.

A great place to stay!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic VRBO and we cannot say enough good things about it. The accommodations were outstanding - the home was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the location was perfect for exploring the town and Yellowstone NP. The owners, Natalie and Kevin were also extremely communicative and helpful, making the whole experience even better. We highly recommend this VRBO to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

Yellowstone comfort

Buffalo Trace is comfortable, well-appointed, and within minutes of the North entrance of Yellowstone. The owners were particularly helpful suggesting special spots in the park to view animals. At the end of our long days exploring the park, it was nice to cook in and relax with friends.

Yellowstone trip!

This house was perfect for our family trip. The location is walkable to the main area of Gardiner and so close to the north entrance of Yellowstone making it the perfect “home base”. Owners are easy to get in touch with. Would recommend without reservation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. It is very spacious and it is so warm, comfortable and inviting. We really enjoyed the deck and the gorgeous view and seeing the elk walk by every day. The owners are outstanding with their communication and recommendations. The home is a great location to visit Yellowstone. Would highly recommend it!

Yellowstone Experience

The property was absolutely perfect for my family . We were so close to Yellowstone 's North entrance. There was virtually no traffic entering the park. When we drove to the West side of Yellowstone we were going against traffic and avoided the long lines of cars entering the park. What a blessing!! The town of Gardiner was quaint, charming and had a Western vibe. Delightful!!

Amazing Yellowstone Rental

The Buffalo Trace Retreat was the perfect home for our trip to Yellowstone! The house was absolutely beautiful and perfectly located so that we could enjoy every aspect of the park! At the house, we had lots of elk and mule deer visitors, which made the trip even more special! Natalie and Kevin were the perfect hosts and made our stay absolutely perfect!!

I can’t say enough about how wonderful this house was. It was absolutely spotless, the location was perfect, the communication was excellent! So spacious and accommodating to all of our needs! We would love to come back next time we’re vacationing in the area!

Excellent Location with Beautiful Views of YNP

Positive - Location is excellent, Views from sitting room and balcony upfront are astonishing. Has all kitchen appliances, had large washer and dryer. Negative - the listing advised that only soap would be provided but the soap provided was a small disc for 3 days stay. Ridiculous.

Lovely home

Great home for family with kids and great location for walking to town. Short drive to hot springs and hosts were responsive. Kitchen was well stocked with spices! Thanks for a nice stay.

This is an amazing home, which became an oasis after being in the mountains for the day. Great location to enter the the park and walkable to town. Natalie was the best providing insider information. House was clean, comfortable and well stocked! .

Family vacation

Home was very spacious with plenty of room for our six member family to be in. We were able to be together or have our separate space. Very close and convenient to Yellowstone Park which was a plus as we spent three days there. We had a comfortable home to stay in and a wonderful time in the park. Thanks!!

Great property at a great location

The property was absolutely beautiful. The house was right in the center of all the most beautiful views. It was perfect size in accommodating 7 people. The only issue I had, is there was only 6 towels for 7 people. The person getting the house ready should be aware of how many people will be staying and make accommodations for 7. I would absolutely stay again

Perfect location for North Entrance to Yellowstone

We really enjoyed this property from the beautiful views to the perfect in-town location. The house is within walking distance to the grocery store, yummy restaurants and the north entrance of yellowstone. The park is what brought us here and staying further away would have been difficult. Easy communication with owners and they let us check in a bit early which was nice.

The location near Yellowstone NP north entrance and being in the heart of Gardiner made all our needs and plans very easy to fulfill. Ideal for a family visit to Yellowstone NP. Would highly recommend!
