State College Gem!
Mt. Nittany Hideaway is a real gem in State College. My family and friends stayed at the home for a PSU football game weekend this Fall. We had a large group with multiple families (parents and children). The house easily accommodated our large group. There was plenty of room to spread out, and we never felt on top of each other. The upstairs living room and basement living room provide two very large spaces to hang out. Additionally, the kitchen and breakfast nook are quite spacious and provide additional room to spread out. The house featured plenty of sleeping accommodations that easily met the needs of my large group. There is also a large number of bathrooms throughout the house and multiple showers. The property description of bedrooms, beds and bathrooms is spot on.
The house has many other amenities that make you feel like you are right at home… many large screen TVs, DirectTV, sound system and outdoor seating / grill. The house was less than a 10 minute drive to Beaver Stadium and downtown State College. The hosts were very responsive leading up to our stay; very quickly answering all questions and making us feel at home. I recommend the Mt. Nittany Hideaway for any families looking to spend time together in State College.
