Everything you need

The house had everything we needed and the space worked for our family. The kitchen in particular was great. It’s not the most updated holiday home, but for a base to enjoy Apollo bay and surrounds, it worked well. We enjoyed our stay.

Lovely surprise.

I wasnt too sure when we first arrived, but the property is beautifully appointed and our stay was wonderful. Everything we needed and in a quiet location. Great weekend.

Lovely weekend away

The house had everything we needed for our weekend away. It was well appointed, very clean and warm (we were there in July). David was really helpful with the one query we had during our stay. I would definitely recommend and would come back again.

Clean and large property on a slight rise in the township. Beds good and firm and the space is a great plus. The living zone is generous. Views good on a wide balcony. Rate it well. booking agency not great but owner fine.

Great location, the house had everything you needed and lovely views of the mountains behind. BBQ in need of some attention and a little extra cleaning eg, under the couch. We would definitely stay again. Thank you.

It was exactly what we expected from the pictures. The beds were super comfortable. I really liked that it was a simple place, not a lot of ornaments (nothing to break lol), great location, excellent view, and the kitchen utensils, glassware etc were spotless and I didn't need to clean everything first before use. It's the little things that matter. I can't fault it really.

Queen beds very uncomfortable, too firm. Remote controls for tvs in all three bedrooms didn't have batteries. Some supplies missing including bin bags and chux to wipe the kitchen bench. Place is more run down than we expected, towel rail in bathroom fell off the wall and toilet door handle came off.

Quiet position close location to central shops petrol station n Fishing Co Op Otways n Beach/Ocean clean surroundings fresh air Wa La.The home is spacious provided with complete needs beds are comfy hot water TVs in every bedroom n open plan lounge linen provided n extra blankets elec blankets for choice The reverse cycle air con was super cool n warm on rainy change of weather.Views of the Ocean beautiful .The home is light inside n gave good privacy with the blinds.The deck was a morning breaky break wonderful to start the day . Needs attention and change to description

The house and yard is very much needing some maintenance and attention. The veranda area is quite high up and the wooden boards are weak and cracked in some areas. We did not allow the kids to go out on the veranda as we were worried that they would fall through. The yard was overgrown and needs attention. We were expecting to have the entire house but once there we were greeted with signs on beds on the bottom level saying do not use and that only the upper part of house was allowed to be used, this was not mentioned on listing or when booking. Overall was not impressed unfortunately.

Great location and views of the Mountains

The property was in a great location and well resourced as far as kitchen supplies go. The main bed was very comfortable however the second bed opposite was not so comfortable. Unfortunately the split system wasn't working. There were panel heaters in the bedrooms which we took to the living area to use which were ok. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

Case de Apollo Bay

We had a great time, heater worked really well and the kitchen had a good supply of dishes, utensils & appliances. Because we had to turn everything on when we arrived there was no hot water until Saturday morning & we had to use the gravel driveway because the other one had a 6 inch drop from the crossover. But otherwise a wonderful weekend.

Excellent nights sleep

A well fitted out property with very comfortable beds and hot showers. The little extras -coffee/ soap / shampoo/detergents etc made for a comfortable stay. On the outskirts of town so not really walking distance.

Serenity by the Bay

The location was quiet and peaceful with great views, yet was within easy walking distance from the beach and Apollo Bay central. The property was quite spacious and very well appointed and kept in excellent condition. Overall the property made for a very relaxing time.

Great value comfy Beach house

This is the second time we have stayed here and we had another great stay. We enjoyed - lots of space to spread out including the huge couch & large dining table - nice view of sea from the house and deck - eating al fresco on the deck - walking distance to beach (a bit under 10m) and town (probably closer to 15m) - David was very accomodating and responsive to all messages and Covid uncertainty. He has also recently purchased an outdoor table so that guests can enjoy sitting out on the deck which has a lovely aspect - we think the house is great value for its proximity to town/beach, amenities etc, although some people may prefer to be slightly closer to the town. We would stay here :) Note: while some coffee pods are provided if you are staying a long time or like lots of coffee, bring some extra Aldi ones w you as we couldn’t get replacement ones that fit in town at the Foodworks

Perfect location & property

Property exactly as described. Very easy walk to beach and shops. Property is perfect for couples and families. Property is on stilts, however there is a gate to close off the stairs making it safe for small children. Plenty of crockery and cutlery which is great and a dishwasher to wash them! Will definately book another stay
