The home has central air conditioning, heating, and two outdoor showers (one accessed through a private door in the master bathroom; the other one is accessed behind the pool house!) Black Gate East Hampton

This is our second stay at Mario‘s house. By far my families favorite rental in East Hampton. Perfect location, tastefully decorated and the landscaped backyard and pool area is everyone’s favorite. Mario puts love and care into his home and it shines through.

A perfect home for our family

The house is lovely and comfortable and spacious yet cozy too. The pool is the perfect size and great for a dip on a hot day. My kids love the pool. We love that the house is walking distance into town. We have rented here before and will again. Mario is a fantastic and accommodating host. 10 out of 10.

Amazing

As a family that travels often, I will say: most VRBOs, after a few nights, leave me craving my own bed and home.....this was the exception! I would have GLADLY just moved right on in and hoped Mario didnt notice. :) The space is clean, warm, and, most of all, so beautifully decorated. This did NOT feel like a VRBO...it felt like we were staying at a thoughtful friend's home. We walked or biked into town everyday, and enjoyed the beautiful pool all day. Mario went above and beyond in every way to make our stay amazing.....thank you! I cannot recommend this home enough. Thank you Mario for everything!

Perfection, but….

This was our second stay at this stunning property. We absolutely love it. However, there was construction going on in the home right behind the back yard. It was an agonizing mix of saws, hammers, voices, music. All literally on top of the backyard every day. We should have been forewarned/ advised and I do feel that some compensation should be forthcoming.

Beautiful property, fabulous owner & location

Beautifully maintained and landscaped property, walking distance to town and easy drive to pristine Easthampton village beaches. The backyard is an oasis! Mario was super accessible and responsive on any questions or minor issues that came up. Couldn't recommend more highly!

An Amazing Stay!

I can't say enough about how beautiful this place is. We had an amazing stay and you feel instantly at home the second you walk in. The house has everything you'll need, and it was the perfect getaway. Mario was great - provided perfect instructions and was very prompt in any response we needed. We can't wait to return!

Fantastic stay at a fantastic home!

We had an amazing week at this glorious home. The house is set up so comfortably with a huge, open living / dining room full of light; a fully stocked kitchen, and comfortable bedrooms, bathrooms and attic space (that can double as a work / meditation space). The backyard (and landscaping) is outstanding -- full of lush green grass, incredible rose bushes, and perfectly manicured hedges. The pool and spa were so comfortable and heating and lighting helped, when needed. Outdoor seating is ample to surround the pool, to dine outside, and to sit on the porch in rocking chairs. The location is right near the Main Street, a public park, and the Longhouse Reserve (outdoor sculpture garden). It's about a 10 minute drive from the beaches and 10-15 minutes from Amangansett and Montauk Mario was a wonderful and generous host and communicator. We hope to be back here.

Beautiful Home and Helpful Owner

We spent a wonderful week at this East Hampton house in June. The landscaping was truly gorgeous with climbing roses on the house and pool house. Inside the home was just as lovely and the three bedrooms+loft provided plenty of space for us and the other guests (all young couples). Outside between the perfectly heated pool/spa, grill and large dining tables, we found everything we needed for lounging and enjoying a full week of great Hamptons weather. Big thanks to Mario for answering all of our questions quickly. It was a pleasure to work with him. We hope to be back again soon!

Perfect village home

We rented this lovely gem for about a month and enjoyed every moment of our stay. It is perfectly located on one of the prettiest village lanes and close to shopping, beaches and restaurants. The home is beautifully designed and decorated -- chic, clean and cozy. Mario was the most gracious host, kind and responsive to any inquiry or request. This home is one of the best out there... I can't recommend it highly enough!

Charming house, excellent stay

Everything about our experience staying at this house was excellent. We stayed for over a month, and didn’t want to leave! Mario was an exceptional host, very communicative and responsive whenever we had a question or needed help with something. Location is perfect, a walk to town, walkable to beach, but not too close to anything such that you still have a peaceful, relaxing and quiet oasis. The landscaping and backyard are beautiful, master bedroom was large and bed was extremely comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

The perfect vacation home in East Hampton

Beautiful, comfortable home. Gorgeous yard and pool with darling pool house. Outside showers that were used every day. Within easy walking distance from town and a quick 10 minute bike to the beach. We never used our car after arriving! Looks exactly like the photos. Thanks Mario!

Sensational getaway with everything we needed!

We had a fantastic time at this home! It is decorated both inside and outside with tremendous attention to detail. The kitchen and all other rooms were fully appointed with every amenity, and extremely well stocked with utensils and serving pieces for entertaining. The backyard is like its own oasis, with a multiple areas for sitting, playing games, swimming or just "chilling" after doing some grilling for lunch or dinner. The landscaping is exquisite, with a wide variety of flowers and shrubs, and a constant flurry of butterflies throughout the garden. The house was equipped with a state of the art entertainment system that allowed each of my family members to take turns streaming their selected music through the house and outside. The property is indeed a nice 15 minute walk to the center of East Hampton, where fine dining was available, as well as a fully stocked grocery store. The owners have thought of EVERYTHING that one might want or need for such a getaway, ranging from the SIX bicycles with helmets in the shed, and the bike lock that goes along with them, to the lobster shell breakers and corn cob utensils that we would have never thought of bringing along with us. We like to cook and the kitchen and grill were sensational for my family to bond around. both prepping meals and dining together. During those few times when the weather wasn't cooperating, and we stayed indoors, the house was very comfortable and cozy for the six of us. On several occasions I had logistical questions about the home, and the owner was VERY responsive to my emails... exceeding my expectations! We are already talking about returning later this year or next Summer again, as we created some wonderful family memories at this home. I have nothing whatsoever to be critical about regarding this property.

Highly recommend this beautiful house!

To start the house was beautiful-look at the gorgeous landscaping! Even better in person. We didn't want to leave the backyard! The house was spotless and organized like a dream. The decor was fabulous. The communication between myself and the owner was easy - very quick replies and he couldn't have been nicer. We were thrilled and hope we can stay there again!
