About this property

Quiet and Cozy in Sequim

As you approach our property the street is lined with cherry trees to our home where our 40 ft 3 pull-outs Montana 5th wheel, full hook-ups (water, power & sewer) you enjoy your visit, we take care of the rest located on our beautiful 1 1/4 acre property in a quiet cul-de-sac neighborhood. Sit under the cherry tree, enjoy the garden shed and garden, walk around and pick fruit from trees when in season, or simply sit in Adirondack chairs viewing the mountains.

We are located between the magnificent Olympic Mountains and the Strait of Juan De Fuca in the quaint city of Sequim. Pronounced “S’kwim” in the native language of the S’ Klallam Tribe, it means “Quiet Waters”. Because of its proximity to the mountains we sit in a rain shadow, and only get 16 inches of rainfall per year. Many refer to our location as the “banana belt” of Washington State. In fact – our climate is similar to Provence, France, the Lavender Capitol of the world. For this reason, we have around 40 lavender farms in the Sequim-Dungeness valley. Gaining recognition from all over the country, the Lavender Festival is an annual event you will want to experience. The 3rd weekend in July.

The Discovery Trail is paved that runs from Discovery Bay to Port Angeles. Ideal for bicyclist and walkers alike. Hurricane Ridge is 45 minutes away. Overlooks the Olympic mountains. The Ferry to Victoria, Canada is only 15 minutes away in Port Angeles.

Occasionally we have deer that stroll across our property that is fun to watch. With a ”She Garden Shed,” you are welcome to enter it and walk out to the garden. If you like to plant flowers or vegetables there’s usually something to plant have fun. In June and July, we have the best and juiciest plum trees to pick from for your enjoyment. As well as August/September apples. Feel free to grab vegetables and herbs for your meals. A bbq is also available as well as benches in various places to sit and read a book or simply rest.

Can't Wait to Return!

We had a wonderful stay in Debra and Don’s 5th wheel. The place is clean, perfectly stocked and incredibly comfortable. We had the best nights sleep! The property is very private and has a great location to town. Debra and Don were incredibly accommodating and we can’t wait to return to Sequim for a stay at their property!

Excellent spot

My daughter and I had a wonderful time here. The accommodation was perfect for 2. The bed was super comfortable. It was quiet. Don and Debra are excellent hosts, available to tend to anything you need. Debra was extremely flexible with our arrival dates and helping keep me updated about closures and the reopening during the covid pandemic. Thank you for making our girls getaway relaxing and memorable.

Trying out camper living

Although we were most comfortable we found camper living not something we'd do again. Don and Debra were gracious in sharing the bounty of their fruit garden with us. It was wonderful. Had info on hand about the area which was helpful.

Dream Come True

We stayed at Debra & Don’s property in Sequim while on a trip from Maine to Washington to see the National Parks. Our experience was truly a dream come true. Sequim, itself, is beautiful. The RV, the garden/flowers/string lights, and the view of the mountains from the backyard is unmatched. Debra & Don were extremely accommodating & some of the nicest people we’ve actually ever met. We rented four different places in different locations & this was definitely our favorite place we stayed on our adventure. It was so nice to feel so at home while away from home. We will be back & looking forward to staying here again, without a doubt. Couldn’t have asked for more!

Lovely relaxing stay

We enjoyed a relaxing Memorial Day weekend at Don and Debra’s Camp. The RV is a good alternative to a motel room or cabin with a lot more space and facilities. Don and Debra are lovely hosts and make you feel very welcome. We would happily come again and highly recommend to others.

Cozy place in a quiet neighborhood

Nice place to stay with extra adventure feeling of staying in a camper. Conveniently located for visiting Olympic National Park, Dungeness Spit Natl Wildlife Refuge etc. The camper is comfortable, clean and very well equipped. It was a pleasure staying there and the apples off the trees in a backyard are delicious. Highly recommended.

Quiet location, gracious hosts, and wonderful bed.

Having owned and traveled in our own 5th wheel trailer, this suited us very well. The location is really quiet. Debra and Don were available to answer any questions. The bed was very comfortable. The trailer was well-stocked with linens and all the necessities. We enjoyed our stay.

About the host

Hosted by Debra and Don

Host profile image
Don and Debra are both retired. Don works at Home Depot in Sequim and Debra Gardens and takes care of the property. We both thought that we could share our little bit of happiness with others by using our 5th wheel as a guest house.

Why they chose this property

It was the drive thru cherry trees to our now home. The quietness and surrounding trees around our property and the home is perfect for us to retire in. We like to build and garden of which the guest will see as they enter the property. Fruit trees and flowers during seasons are awesome. There is a "he" Workshop where items are built from. Back of property we have a view of the mountains, a "she" garden shed and garden.

What makes this property unique

The 40 ft 5th wheel - full hook-ups (water, power & sewer) you enjoy your visit, we take care of the rest is located in the backyard for privacy. There are trees as well as selection of fruit trees, flowers and a garden where guests can help themselves to fruit and vegetables in season as well as take a book to read inside the "she" garden shed or sit out beyond the garden shed to view mountains. Walk around 1 1/4 acre property.
