Peaceful and Fun Family Property

Property is availble for temporary housing or a longer term rental, this spacious, yet functional property has it all. Located in north county San Diego, its tranquil setting combined with close proximity to many convenient and tourist locations is optimal for quiet, relaxing, yet fun and exciting Southern California living. A gorgeous view, the house sits on 1 acre and is complete with two covered outdoor patios that include an outdoor living room, jacuzzi, and an outdoor fireplace, it also has beautiful landscaping: palms, bamboo, citrus trees, vegetable garden, avocado trees and many many different varieties of local vegetation. Chickens too! Fresh eggs are available daily. The indoor space is open and inviting. It has a large great room, fully stocked, updated kitchen, with custom cabinetry and a large pantry, and three updated, full bathrooms. It also includes two master suites, a wood burning stove, and forced air heating and cooling. Excellent for kids, a children’s play area both indoors and out, including many toys and books. Centrally located, this property is 10 minutes from the beach, 30 minutes from San Diego Safari Park, 45 minutes from the Zoo and Seaworld, 20 minutes from Legoland and 1 hour 15 minutes from Disneyland. We are 1 mile to downtown Vista offering several options for dining and shopping. Thank you! We look forward to hosting you.

Family Visit in CA

Our group had 8 adults coming together from 4 different states! Communication before we arrived to the house was great, I knew exactly what to expect when we arrived. The house was welcoming and provided the perfect setting for our family to visit. There were chickens in the yard with a note stating that we were welcome to use the eggs. Fresh eggs are fabulous! We have already talked about going back and staying at the house. It was wonderful and the hostess was great. Thank you Angie!

Summer vacation

Family vacation with kids, and grandkids. Close to beach and Legoland. Large spacious home in a nice rural community. Enjoyed the trampoline and hot tub. Had some small issues but owner was helpful in taking care of them.

Large Property, Perfect for Families

I was impressed by an entire acre of beautiful landscaping on a hillside with a view. The hot tub, patio, and yard were the best part about this rental. I also appreciated the gate around the property, which added security, and peace of mind with small kids running around. The house had a huge open living space and kitchen, plenty of bedrooms, and an affordable price.

GRAND CAMP PERFECTION 🥰

This property truly is perfect for a family bonding time. We've hosted Grand Camp with our grandkids for 11 years beginning at our home in Vista, California. We transitioned to actual campgrounds after we moved out of state. From tents to cabins...and here we are, back in Vista! The hosts prepared us well through a text orientation. The one question we had regarding the printer was responded to in a timely manner. It was a joy to have a property all to ourselves while having room to spread out. The younger kids enjoyed visiting and feeding the chickens and gathering eggs. The older ones shot hoops, soaked in the jacuzzi and lounged. Almost all of the kids (and one grandparent) bounced on the trampoline. We brought some yard games but didn't use them. On the smart TV we watched one granddaughter 's middleschool stage performance of Aladdin. We highly recommend this specifically family oriented VRBO!

Nice fun and relaxing

A big group of my friends and I stayed at this lovey home for our trip to our friends’ wedding and it was perfect. The house was clean and inviting. Everything was labeled and instructions were clear. And communication with the hosts was always accessible and fast! And the chickens outside were such much fun to interact with. We almost didn’t wanna leave the house for our whole trip.

Beautiful, Peaceful, Blessed

The photos don't do this property justice, it's a beautiful large property located on a high hill in Vista. The best part of our stay was sitting out on the outside patio enjoying the amazing view and watching the hummingbirds fly. The house was very clean upon arrival, we loved all the open space, it was able to accommodate 10 of us easily. It's very kid friendly, the children enjoyed the kids room with the toys, the chickens and play area in the backyard and using the beach toys at the beach. Angie also left out a high chair for the baby. The master room shower was another great feature with three shower heads and rock laid flooring. Everything worked great, we really enjoyed cooking in the state of the art kitchen and utilizing the barbecue grill. The property is very peaceful, my sister said she got the best sleep here. The only thing I'd suggest is to ask for the contract up front so that you're aware and comfortable with all of the rules and regulations before booking. Communication with Angie and Chris was good, we were able to communicate via inbox, text message and by phone. We also loved all of the Catholic decor, crosses everywhere, part of the reason we booked here. There was a chalked Epiphany blessing over the door, this truly is a blessed property, the Lords presence is here. We highly recommend this property.

Absolutely perfect!

This home far surpassed our expectations! We had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms, super comfy and cozy beds, fabulous patio with fireplace and ample wood available, our little guy loved "his" room and the play yard, and the chickens were the cherry on top! We would love to come back next year! And, thank you so much for welcoming our 2 Labradors, they loved their stay, too! Thank you, thank you!

Gorgeous Home with a Beautiful Yard

We enjoyed our stay at this VRBO home. It is located in a picturesque and quiet neighborhood. There is plenty of room for family and the open floor plan makes it nice for visiting with everyone. The home was very clean and the beds were comfortable.

My husband grew up in the area and we wanted to raise our kids in a space where they had lots of freedom to play and explore, yet still had access to the beach, and awesome community attractions.
