Daydream the day away and escape every care to enjoy the peaceful, pink sky sunset at dusk.

Walk into this bright and beautiful home to experience the most breathtaking views of the ocean. This appealingly laid out floor plan is perfect for entertaining friends and family. This home boasts five bedrooms and two full bathrooms along with a washer and dryer.

The large, well laid out kitchen is oceanside and is stocked with all of your cookware needs. There is an outdoor grill and patio table to eat your meals while taking in the gorgeous view.

You may never want to leave, but if you must, there are amenities close by. Just a 30 second stroll to the Sand Hills General Store where you can get your morning coffee, sandwiches for lunch, or even an evening ice cream. In addition, it's just a leisurely walk to the historic Scituate Lighthouse.

Also we are less than one mile (a very short walk!) from the center of Scituate harbor. Without a car you can experience downtown with its many quaint shops, great restaurants, and the ever charming harbor area.

During “nor’easter season” (late fall and winter/early spring) a clear plastic is installed over the windows and door that face the ocean. This can not be removed by tenants.

Sand Hills Up Close and Personal

We needed a last minute rental as we had a funeral to arrange in the Scituate are. Staying in a home where we were all together was such a gift during a tough time! The house was great and we just had 5 people, but I was amazed at how many we could have fit. The house has everything you need and is so close to the water that you cannot help but breathe in the ocean breeze and feel the soothing waves. It is a greta place for walks and very close to charming Scituate Harbor.

Property in poor condition

The property was not in good condition. Unsafe border of driveway along with poor placement of auto lighting resulted in family member falling and being injured. The check in hour is 4pm and check out is 10 am. I didn’t realize this when I rented the property and there was no flexibility when asked. I owned a rental property and we used a noon check in and also check out. We had a fun time but it was because we stayed as a family and the setting and neighborhood were excellent. When we arrived there were condiments left in the refrigerator .

Great place to stay in a friendly neighborhood

This was a great place to stay for my groomsmen and I to relax and get ready for my wedding. The ocean view was amazing! The host was extremely courteous and easy to communicate and work with. I would stay here again in a heart beat and definitely recommend to others who want to stay in the area.

What a spot!

We couldn’t have picked a better house! We flew in from Seattle to visit family and were so happy with the house and location. We visited during an extremely warm and humid week, the AC was a surprise and incredibly helpful! The one caveat to the location is the need to bring linens, pillows, and towels which required organization ahead of time to ship to family prior to arriving, but otherwise, the home is well equipped, beds are comfy, and there are an abundance of beach chairs and toys. The place is perfect and couldn’t recommend it more!

Wedding weekend

We rented Chris’ home for our wedding weekend. Upon entering the home, you are greeted by the ocean in the backyard- what could be better? Plenty of space for the bridal party, family & friends. Chris was a breeze to communicate with & went out of his way to accommodate our special weekend. Perhaps we’ll be back next year for our first anniversary- thank you Chris!

Comfortable, roomy and relaxing. Chris was wonderful ..beginning with us having to change our date right after we booked to keeping us updated when there was a hurricane forecasted shortly after our arrival (on our changed date). Communication was excellent beginning to end. House was clean and comfy and well stocked with supplies (paper towels, t.p. cleaners, trash bags etc.). Nice deck (front and back). People watch (front deck) or stare at the ocean (back deck)! Great location, close to restaurants and of course the ocean. Don't want to go out? Kitchen is is equipped for you to cook up your own meal or use the outdoor grill. Overall wonderful vacation house and host!

Best location !! We walked every where but barely left the house . View was amazing!

I stayed with my family and my sister and her family . It was one of our best vacations! We just hung out at the beach and on deck . Barely drive anywhere. I would highly recommend this house . Chris was very informative and on top of everything.

Amazing Annual Family Vacation

This is a beautiful place right on the water. You can sit out on the deck, sand below the deck or steps right down to the ocean level sand at high or low tide. Great for swimming, paddle boarding (we brought ours) and kayaking (one supplied by the house). Easy walk to the lighthouse and short ride or walk into downtown. We were there at a first Friday with luminaria along the seawall and lighted boat parade- great sense of community. It is quiet yet close to a sweet downtown and easy 10 minute drive to larger grocery stores. Open kitchen/living area that opens on to ocean side deck makes for great gatherings at meals. Chris (owner) was very responsive to questions. Thank you!

Excellent Beach Vacation

This house is set up perfectly for a family gathering on the beach. It is walking distance to town and the water is gorgeous. At low tide the tide pools are great for kids (and adults) to explore. Would definitely consider going back.

Scituate

Great location on the beach. Easy walk to Lighthouse and Town .Plenty of space for our family group of 8 adults and 2 children, Chris was very responsive to my questions pre trip. There were no issues with the house. Great deck with table and plenty of chairs. Great grill! We all had a great time!

Beautiful house and location

Great place to stay, so beautiful. Walk to places if you need anything. If the weather isn’t great, you still have a beautiful view of the ocean and can hear those waves. The deck is so nice, has a gate so it’s safe for kids.

Beautiful views, great communication

The stay went well, Chris was in constant communication to answer our groups different questions. The home has a super beautiful view of the ocean and the deck is a great way to enjoy it. The place is also a short walk from the Lighthouse which is a nice addition. The house and amenities were pretty much exactly as the listing described so we were able to plan around the linens for instance. Overall great stay!
