Birthday Trip

We had a wonderful time in Indian Rocks. The condo we rented was great and the view from our balcony was spectacular. The condo was clean and spacious. It was close to a ton of restaurants, bars and grocery stores. It was quiet while we were there so a lot of the time we had the pool to ourselves. The grounds were very clean. The beach was beautiful. We would definitely stay here again. Unfortunately, we had to leave a day early because hurricane Helene was coming and we needed to evacuate. I am not sure how the property/grounds faired with the hurricane but I know Indian Rocks got hit pretty hard. We hope all is well at the Beach Cottages and hope to see you again in the future.

Late summer vacation

We have previously stayed at Beach Cottages, although this is our first time in this unit. It is well decorated and spacious. We enjoyed the coffee bar and the kitchen had sufficient stock. The location is great with easy access to the beach and restaurants. Appreciates the parking spot close to the elevators. We will be staying again!

Awesome condo!

We have vacationed at Indian Shores for the last 15 years. We have always chosen to stay at Beach Cottages every year. This condo did not disappoint. It was equipped with everything we needed for our stay, updated, and great parking spot in covered garage (nice perk!) We will be looking to book this condo on future trips!

Beautiful with a little help

I have been coming to Tge Beach Cottage yearly for 14 years. Having booked through Florida LifeStyles Cacation Rentals (wonderful). This year we rented through Pinellas. Not again. While the condo and property will always be my favorite, this company does not have good cleaning company. Apon arrival i make my family remove their shoes. I have a no footwear rule when in rentals. Stepped into the condo into a ton of sand. Food crumbs on kitchen floor and in silverware tray. Dirty dishes in cabinet. I found food and q-tips in the small bedroom. Cut and bleeding down the back of my leg from a small piece of glass in the couch. When removing sand chairs from closet there was one that was leaking water and sand all over the floor. They chairs need to be replaced once in awhile considering the rust that got all over myself and clothes. Help is definitely needed in the cleaning protocol. Will 100% be back to this property but will go through Florida Lifestyles. Thank you for yoyr hospitality.

Don't Stay Here - Integrity Lacking

We were very unfortunate during our stay - roof construction resulted in us having to leave the property during daytime hours throughout the course of our stay. The property manager (Kevin) did not disclose the construction and claims that he had no prior knowledge that it was going to occur that week. We have two young grandchildren who were unable to take their naps at the property. We were unable to use our balcony or pool because of the noise and egregious amount of debris that fell upon it as a result of the construction. Kevin sent us to the Zoo for a day - what a saint. Unfortunately, we didn't book this place with the expectation that we wouldn't be able to enjoy it during daytime hours. An inadequate partial refund was given (about 20%), and we were told that it was "more than fair". Had they equitably refunded a proper amount, we would have foregone leaving this review in recognition of their willingness to do right by us. Ultimately, we recommend you avoid spending your hard-earned vacation dollars on this place. Integrity is severely lacking when it comes to their willingness to make things right. Don't want anyone else to go through the vacation nightmare that we experienced. This property manager is a very unfunny joke. We force ourself to laugh (so we don't cry) and thank God that we'll never have to deal with him/this place again. Life is too short to treat people the way we were treated in this situation. Don't stay here - integrity is lacking.

Awesome place to stay close to everything!

This property was nothing short of amazing. Close parking spot, clean condo and very close to stores and other beaches. We truly enjoyed our family vacation here. We would definitely recommend and stay here again. Communication was very fast. Thanks for the great place to stay.

Enjoyed the condo and beach location.

We (2 couples) enjoyed our stay in this condo. The unit is spacious with pleasing decor, the deck is large with a beautiful view of the sunset. Well stocked kitchen (for the most part) and lots of beach equipment: chairs, umbrella, cooler and floaties. The kitchen had some random spices, cooking oil, sugar & coffee filters left behind among other items. Also 2 box fans in the closet and what looked like a play pen. The parking spot is right outside the lobby. The second bedroom has new qn beds, but a bit firm. Now for the not so positive: We though the walk to the Beach for the condo was the biggest negative. You have to walk through the garage parking to get to the gate that leads to the beach. the pool access is the level above. The bath towels are in need of replacing (small and thin) I was told the king bed is not comfortable, and the sheets are pilled. The guest bath could use a shelf for toiletries, I stashed the decor in order to have space. We thought the condo was clean, except for the floor. It looked clean but socks/feet were black after a short time.

Relaxing vacation

We loved the apartment and will rent again if possible. The view was outstanding. One minor problem was that the microwave suddenly stopped working but it was promptly dealt with and replaced The elevator was not working and we were on the 4th floor so it was difficult carrying luggage up the stairs but overall we had a very nice relaxing week

Beautiful Property…BUT..

The property and location were outstanding. Only negative, and it was a BIG ONE is that the elevator was broken and unusable for our entire 7 day stay. At 70 years old, and suffering the side effects of Covid in August, I had to schedule every trip up and down the 4 flights of stairs. Very disappointing, as my enjoyment was stymied by the elevator situation. But IF the elevator had worked it was a PERFECT location. Shout out to the local property manager who addressed a couple of minor issues quickly, and comped us on a local sunset cruise to try to compensate.

This property is in a great location for more of the quiet side of things, yet still honest and fun. Condo was very clean, except maybe the floors. There wasn't a day our feet or socks weren't black from walking on them. One complaint is that the gas grills/ flat grill were never cleaned therefore they flamed up everytime they were used. Med

Everything we needed was included. AC worked perfectly. Beds slept well. Right on the beach. Very spacious. Perfect mix of couples, families, and groups of vacationers without the fuss or overly burdensome property rules. Would stay again for sure. Enjoy!

Great condo.

We loved the property....location...and all the amenities. The only complaint was the condo next door was renovating and we had to listen to a jack hammer all day and smell strong glue fumes. This was no fault of the owner but was a little dissappointing. Would definately recommend this condo to anyone!

Loved the beach!

This was better than we expected as the pictures made it look a little dated. The unit was spacious with a great view of the ocean. Nice kitchen and bathrooms. Plenty of beach stuff to use including new beach chairs and a cooler. We loved walking and sitting on the beach. We would recommend this location!
