Rockstar Beach House has a North Captiva Island Club Membership which has access to 2pools, hot tub, kayaks, bicycles, and basketball. With its 2 luxury bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and new queen memory foam sleeper sofa, you can comfortably sleep 6. The open floor plan and 15ft. ceilings make this little house feel big, bright and airy. The Polynesian flair (including a 400lb solid mahogany Tiki Head!) musical influences and island style furnishings (master bedroom king size bamboo hula bed!) and outdoor deck Hot Tub complete this cool, comfortable retreat. This home was built with the finest materials including travertine tile and tumbled marble throughout.

Located only a short distance to the beach (2 minutes by golf cart) this is the perfect location for gorgeous sunsets and a quiet, get away from it all, slice of island life.

Mother/daughters getaway

The house was just as pictured; very clean, lots of space. The location was great; not far from the beaches or the marina/shops. Steve was very responsive to any issues we had. We took a boat tour with Steve and I highly recommend it. There is still lots of work to be done from the hurricanes and only a couple of options for dining out/takeout. Make sure you order/bring groceries as the local market is very expensive and limited options.

Rockstar house on North Captiva Island

House was nice, clean, golf cart was fun. VRBO listing didnt mention that North Captiva is only accessible by boat or ferry.. This is an additional cost of 29 pp for ferry, 70 for parking, and 75 or luggage handling.. Also must coordinate flight/driving with ferry schedule. Makes for quite an adventure. For a vacation in a natural place without crowds, this is a great place. There is still piles of hurricane debris. Important to bring your own groceries. Restaurants are pricey and were partially closed due to high winds closing ferry.

The Best on North Captiva!

The rockstar house is just the best place to stay on North Captiva. It is conveniently located between the island club pool and Sunset Beach, which is just the best beach on the island the golf cart such a plus and the bonus is that Steve offers an adventure tour on his boat- by far the best tour out there and the most affordable for the time snd personal experience we had. Really the highlight of our whole trip highly highly recommend this place and Steve’s trip. Thank you so much, Steve. We loved your home snd your trip. We will definitely be back!

This place was fantastic! The house was beautiful and well located to get to the beach and clubhouse within 2 minutes with golf cart. Our host was very helpful with any questions we had. The house was well stocked with EVERYTHING you could need from cooking supplies to equipment for the beach. The beach was unbelievable, lots of shells and privacy. I can’t wait to go back, already checking my calendar for next vacation time. A great time was had by all. Thank you Steve!

Fantastic Get-away

We couldn't have experienced a better week than at the Rockstar and on Upper Captiva. The house is the perfect hide-away on a tropical island. Easy to get to, close to the beach and anything you could want to see. This island house has all the creature comforts. Thank you Steve, for having us. We'll be back!

Wonderful home

The home had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. It was close to the beaches and swimming pool. The hot tub was very nice. We loved it so much we are planning on coming back and staying for a longer period.

Awesome place, awesome stay!!!

The island is my favorite place in the world!!! Not my first time there but first time in the Rock Star pad and it was WONDERFUL!!! Out host was incredible…..he immediately took care of anything we needed and was very responsive to our questions. The place is perfect….it had everything you would need for a week long stay. Loved the hot tub and the golf cart was super convenient to have. We hear some real horror stories about VRBO and unhelpful hosts….this is NOT one of them. I couldn’t be happier with our stay!! For sure will be booking same place next year.!! Thank you for the lovely memories!

Ready to go back!

Everything was AMAZING! I was a little nervous about getting there but with Steve's help, it was a breeze! We enjoyed the house that felt like home, the boat trip was amazing (my son can't stop talking about it), and we cant wait to go back! My son has already asked if we can make this a yearly trip! Jenny was also so amazing with helping us with checking in and checking out! We literally have zero conplaints! And we're already looking at the calendar to see when we can go back and we will definitely book another boat trip with Captain Steve!

This house was better than advertised! My family has been coming to North Captiva since the 80’s and this is one of the nicest well stocked house’s we’ve stayed in. The owner Steve is very responsive and sends great info prior to arriving. They only allow 5 stars but this house deserves 10!!

Perfect house, perfect host!

My friend and I absolutely LOVED our time in Steve's house. We'd been to the island before and stayed in many other properties, and this was our favorite: the beds were super comfy; the porches were perfect and let us sit in the sun or shade; the hot tub was such an amazing perk even on hot days; the kitchen had so many supplies that it made cooking easy and really helped us not have to buy as much for the week; the golf cart worked great; and there is a ton of beach/pool gear free to use. The location is also awesome: it's really close to the NCIC with two pools, shops, and a restaurant, and just a short walk or drive to the beach and wildlife preserve. We did Steve's Adventure Boat Tour which I would also HIGHLY recommend - it was the highlight of our trip to get to hang out with Steve on his boat, visit neighboring islands, swim in the ocean, and see tons of wildlife including dolphins and manatees. I also can't say enough good things about Steve's communication as a host. Anything we needed, he replied immediately and was able to advise on or accommodate. We are already looking at our calendars to figure out a time we can come back. Do yourself a favor and book the Rockstar Beach House! It will truly feel like home on this magical island.

Perfect!

From the first communication to relinquishing the golf cart key, our trip was perfectly relaxing (location, comfy beds, games galore, amenities), adventurous (boat trip with Adventure Tours to Cayo Costa, Cabbage Key & secret manatee hole, Nature Preserve walks, sunsets on the beach) and hastle-free. We can’t wait to return to Steve’s house! Our trip was perfect in every way.

Amazing

Words can’t describe this experience!! The island is looking great and this island community is really doing a fantastic job after being hit hard by hurricane Ian. Steve is absolutely the best!! Any issue you had, he took care of it quickly. We went out with captain Steve on his boat tour it was a blast!! We left this place kicking and screaming but with a new friend!! Relaxing stay, would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed a relaxing stay at the Rock Star Beach House. The owner was very responsive, questions were answered immediately. The house was clean with a well outfitted kitchen. The bed was comfy, plenty of bath and beach towels, and the convenience of a washer and dryer. A soak in the hot tub was a great way to end the day. The house included a golf cart and was located an easy walk to the Island Club which the house was a member. The membership provided free use of bikes and kayaks, and the two heated pools. We had a great Club Comforts Dinner at Mango’s. The beaches were clean with shells everywhere. The island has no paved roads or cars just sand, which made it very quiet.

Back to Captiva

This was our families 4th trip to Captiva. It never disappoints. We had a wonderful stay. The weather was not as good as we remembered from last trips but we bundled up and enjoyed!! Our ferry experience was not the best but we worked it out on our return. The island is working on returning to normal after the horrible hurricane 2 years ago. There was still so much devastation but we did not allow it to ruin our trip. We will return!!

Great house

This house was great! Everything was just as listed. Steve the owner was very responsive and so helpful to us. We had never been to North Captiva before and was a little nervous but he answered all our questions. The island is beautiful. Very quiet and relaxing. Just what we were looking for. We also took Captain Steve’s boat tour and highly recommend it!! We will be back and hope to stay at the same house and take the same boat trip again!!

Paradise!

My husband, two daughters, and my mom stayed a week in North Captiva at Steve's Rockstar Beach House. We had an absolutely fantastic time, and the beach house truly felt like home! Steve was super responsive to all of our questions and made the planning process a breeze. When we weren't enjoying ourselves at the beach or the pools, we kept ourselves plenty busy with the treasure trove of games. And, we were fortunate enough to be able to take the island tour on Steve's boat, which we highly recommend! He has so much knowledge of the area, and he taught my girls the names of different seashells. Within the first ten minutes of getting on the boat, we were fortunate enough to see manitees and dolphins! My youngest really took to Steve and she named the stuffed manitee we bought her Captain Steve! This placed rocked, and we can't wait to come back!

I was born in Ft. Myers Florida. I’m a local :) i fell in love with this island as a kid. I went out to this island in the 1970’s..before electricity got out here! Caught my first snook out here. Retired from a life in the music biz and built a house with some friends and my own 2 hands. It’s one of the best things I ever did! Now you have the opportunity to come and enjoy it, you won’t regret it!

I built this house in a quiet section of the island that’s close to everything. The beach, the club, the marina and pool bar. I’ve also kept my rates reasonable so everyone can enjoy it. The sand streets, golf carts, the beautiful beach and amazing sunsets make this island as unique as any place I’ve ever seen. Please come and have the trip of a lifetime!
