This place was absolutely perfect. Kitchen came in key when we ended up have some snow/ice making use of our leftovers. King size Purple bed was our first time on Purple and it was great. Such a great place to escape and use as a home base for our trip away. Caretaker was great keeping the parking slot salted and clear. Will definitely check if this is available next time we come to the area. If there is any question of if you shouod book do it.
We only stayed for one night to be able to get tickets first thing in the morning for the Lehigh Valley gorge train ride The suite is huge and very comfortable. Close to everything we wanted todoto do. The host gives many.
I saw this place on Expedia and was immediately hooked. It was only for an overnight stay and we didn’t get there until after one in the morning. The decor really appealed to this and made weary travelers forget the long ride we had just completed. We had a great breakfast in the morning at the Inn down near the train station then took a ride on the train before leaving. Jim Thorpe is a lovely unique town. Would definitely stay there again
The place was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. The owner, Jeffrey, responded quickly when we had a couple questions prior to arriving. The caretaker/manager, Chad, was on site the whole time and was friendly, kind, and accommodating. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay.
This apartment was the perfect spot for my wife and I for a short weekend getaway. It was very clean and a great location just a minute of walking outside of main downtown Jim Thorpe. Highly recommend and will definitely stay there again. Thanks Jeff and Chad!
This apartment was a great location! It was exactly as described and perfect for our long weekend away. It had everything we needed and was comfortable. Such a huge plus to have an assigned parking spot. We were able to leave our car and walk to every spot in town. The owner provided a long list of sights to see down to hiking, restaurants, breweries/wineries and other local shopping experiences - which we appreciated! We would definitely stay here again next time we are able to come back to beautiful Jim Thorpe!
An elegant Victorian setting with gorgeous antiques and a flair for the unexpected pop of color and whimsical decor. The seasonal decorations added to the eye candy and made it a delight to come back to after each adventure we took! Jim Thorpe is a lovely town, offering quaint shops with local crafts as well as many eateries to chose from, all within walking of our lodging. We are bicycle enthusiasts and the rail trail through the gorge is our go to activity for its beauty and ease of access in the town!
I loved the vibe of this place and the owl decor was so sweet! Cleanliness and communication were 10/10. The mood lighting in the kitchen was fun and there is a full kitchen to cook if you need! The king bed was great and the cozy little fireplace heater and couch in the room was great for reading. I did take a night to adjust to the sounds of the baseboard heat at night trying to sleep. The whole town is cute and full of places/shops/restaurants/hikes to explore- Not to mention the inspo for the Disneys haunted mansion, a HP themed cafe, and a train ride that would be gorgeous in the fall especially. Winter hours for businesses were a little hit or miss mon-wed but there was plenty to do Thursday! The hosts were kind enough to be flexible with me checking out an hour late due to me oversleeping and even let me leave my car in a space post check out so I could do the last few things on my tourist list. I had a great stay and would love to come back.
This was the perfect stay. We went for our annual anniversary trip. We live only one hour from Jim Thorpe but have never visited. These accommodation was so clean and neat. Prior to our trip we received so much information from the property owner on things to do, where to eat, even marked off the things that were within walking distance or you had to drive. Which was fantastic because we only wanted to do things within walking distance. The great part is the location. It is within walking distance to most attractions, restaurants, activities such as train, trails, stream, museums, bands, etc. But it is not right in the middle of the hustle and bustle and noise. So after a night out we walked back to our place and sat outside with some drinks in this gorgeous garden area. We are already planning on our next stay.
This was my first visit to PA, I drove my son and three of this friends to Woodward to participate in the skateboarding camp. I was looking for a location with a little character to stay and work for the week and I stumbled upon Jim Thorpe in my search and went for it! Loved being surrounded by history and was pleasantly surprised by the great restaurant selections in the area. Jeffrey did an excellent job of communicating and everything was super easy! This was my first solo VRBO experience and I couldn't be more pleased. Thank you so much!
My husband and I had a wonderful time while in Jim Thorpe. This is largely due to the comfortable accommodations and the incredibly helpful property owner. We travel pretty frequently, but I would say the communication for this trip was second to none. Prior to the trip, he reached out with helpful information about restaurants and things to do. This helped us look ahead and research the area and places we didn't want to miss. There was also information about the bike trail, which was truly appreciated, as that was the focus of our trip. The day we arrived, the owner helped us secure an alternative parking spot due to the size of the truck we needed to park, and it was fabulous and very close to the property. The area that they have created around the home was truly magical and we enjoyed walking around the area behind the house. The cleanliness of the home, the kindness and thoughtfulness of the owner, and the location in Jim Thorpe would encourage us to return time and time again. Thank you!
The whole complex was very nice. The parking situation can be a little cramped but compared to the rest of the town it’s pretty good. The room was very clean when we got there and there was little to no noise pollution. 10/10
This was a wonderful stay in a wonderful town. And a beautiful town. My only regret is that I wish I could have seen the place in the bloom of late spring.
The accommodations were superb, the managers were informative and respectful. I honestly have no complaints at all. I can’t recommend this place enough.
We absolutely loved the High St Inn. The apartment was very clean and felt like home for the few days we were there. Walking distance to everything, a lot of fun stuff to do around town. Will definitely have to come out here again

I am drawn to Jim Thorpe and to the Pocono's in general and am very glad to live in this amazing town surrounded by the ever changing Appalachian landscape. You cannot beat the endless miles of mountain biking and hiking trails, or the tubing, kayaking, skirmish, yoga, skiing, rivers, lakes, and fishing or the cultural and historical attractions. So close to the major east coast cities, yet worlds away!
