Come getaway at Pirate’s Cove Beach House! Featuring space for 12 guests, this house is large enough to accommodate multiple families, but cozy enough that a romantic couple feels right at home. This charming 1937 beach house is in the heart of delightful Rockaway Beach. You’re in easy walking distance of everything! Walk just 5 minutes to the beach (6 small town blocks) or to the grocery store at the end of the street. With enough off street parking for up to three cars, you can easily stroll to the great cafés and shops in charming downtown Rockaway. Once you’ve arrived at Pirate’s Cove Beach House, you can relax and indulge in seaside living.

Rockaway Beach is a classic beach town with plenty of areas to explore. In addition, there are nearby fishing ponds, clamming beaches, and crabbing docks. A short 15 minute drive to Tillamook lets you tour the Tillamook Cheese Factory, go antiquing, or explore the fantastic restaurants they have to offer. On your way back to Pirate’s Cove beach house, stop off and pick up some excellent seafood at the Fish Peddler in Bay City. There is a fully stocked kitchen waiting for you to whip up a tasty meal.

While you are here, enjoy beautiful views from the second story, play board games, relax with a movie from our large vintage VHS collection, or bring blu-rays for player in the living room. Whatever kind of vacation you need, this house is the perfect place to call your home away from home.

The main floor has a queen sized bedroom, bunk room and two full bathrooms. The second story has another queen sized bedroom with a peek of the ocean on nice days, and a bedroom with a queen and twin as well as a large full bathroom. The living room has a 55” flat screen TV streaming Fubo live TV, Netflix, a bluray player, and a VCR with an extensive VHS collection. This house is pet friendly; please let us know if you plan on bringing a four-legged family member with you.

Note that is you plan on using the bunk room the sheets will be folded on each bunk - you will need to put the linens on the bed. Please only use those bunks that are needed to cut down on laundry. Also understand that the bunks in the bunk room are very high off the ground with no guard rails. They are not suitable for small children - most children over the age of 8 years old should be okay. Active or restless sleepers who may role out should not use the bunk room.

Rockaway hideaway
We cannot rave about this property enough. Great location in town. Spacious and furnished for fun and relaxation. Ample parking and friendly neighbors. A wonderful view and affordable for most any vacation budget. We are already planning next years stay! Thank you Pirate Cove! You are a true treasure on the coast!

Family beach getaway
We rented this property for a few days for friends and family. It is in a perfect location to beach and shops and close to other attractions in nearby towns along the coast. Plenty of space and the pirates cove theme was a fun addition. Kitchen is adequate size and it was fun to watch vhs movies. Only downside perhaps is no dishwasher so plan ahead with paper plates.

Fantastic beautiful home!
The house was beautiful and spacious! We had 11 people staying there and there was plenty of room for us all plus more if you wanted! The walk to the beach was not bad at all and there was plenty to do and see for our whole trip! The owners are amazing people who answer any questions and communicate very well with the tenants. Thank you for providing such a beautiful home and being awesome people to rent from!!

Positives: Excellent location to town and beach, Roomy, Lots of Movies and games for the family, comfortable living room furniture, Roomy Bunk room was appreciated. Negatives: House needed thorough cleaning, House needed better maintenance as front door stuck, window blinds couldn't close, curtains were wonky, mattresses were lumpy. Bunk room was stuffy and dark.

It's located in a good spot for shopping and walking to the beach. I would just say if you don't have or own any pets wouldn't recommend. Unless you don't mind the smell of dogs Asoon ad you walk in the door there's a strong smell . Also host are good people. But the people that clean did leave a vape and empty beer cans on bunks .

Pirates Cove
Walking in the house, it was clean, maintained and exactly what the pictures portrayed. The space is family and pet friendly and everyone had there own space to get “away” and rest when they needed, which can be tough when there’s 5 kids but the space/set up made so that kids could rest when they needed it. The house had all the kitchen supplies/utensils we needed, the living room had plenty of seating as well. We walked to the beach daily, multiple times safely and it’s basically 3 blocks away from the beach. The bathrooms were well equipped and had plenty of hot water for our crew.

Our stay exceeded my expectations. The house was beautifully decorated, and completely stocked. I felt as if I were in my own home. The kitchen having every thing needed for cooking. The location was perfect also. Close enough to walk to everything, yet far enough away from traffic, and big crowds. I will absolutely be renting this property again. The owners were promt with answering any and all questions I had, and were very pleasant to communicate with. W My entire family, even the teenagers had a blast, and are looking forward to out return trip next year. Thank you so so much.

Perfect spot. Easy to get to the beach. Very well equipped kitchen. Kids loved the bunk beds, although they were both too small to sleep in them! Hope to be back during the summer.

We really enjoyed the house with all of its amenities. Absolutely loved the VHS collection and watching the kids learn how to use it as well as enjoying some old time movies. House was clean as well stocked and the owner was an excellent communicator.

Stayed here with my family and another family. The other family had the upstairs and my 6 kids did great in the bunk room. We all had privacy, and were very comfortable. It is so nice to have 3 bathrooms to clean up the kids after a day at the beach. The living room was much bigger than I expected. Great location. Would definitely come again!

Owners were easy and fast to communicate with and provided insight about the area prior to the visit. The property had everything that we needed in the kitchen, bathrooms, laundry facilities. There was a small area outside to cook crabs which was handy for the do-it-yourselfers.

We grew up in the Willamette Valley and have vacationed on the Oregon Coast nearly every year. We live in the metro area and like to get away to the beach whenever we can.

Why they chose this property

We love getting away to Rockaway Beach. It is a quaint beach town that has maintained it's small town charm. When we decided to buy a beach house for our family we fell in love with the vintage feel of this house and love that we can have gatherings with friends and family with enough space for everyone. Rockaway is the perfect place for a romantic getaway or a family retreat.

What makes this property unique

This house offers enough space for everyone to feel comfortable. You have the room to enjoy a vacation together without being right on top of each other. It is positioned in a great place where the heart of Rockaway is only a few short blocks away. Walk to the grocery store, cafe, bar, or to the beach - it is all right there!
