About this property
Unique beach house on private property
Our beach house is one of a kind, If you are looking for an experience away from the fast-pace, the island of Chiloe is perfect for you but the Casita is located to enjoy it fully. Come and try how it feels to be in the mystical atmosphere of the island of Chiloe from this unique confortable and luminous place we design and built to enjoy the nature we have around. Connect and enjoy the ocean, the forest. Surround yourself with beauty, color and life.
Guest Access:
Our guest have access to a private beautiful beach, walks in the forest, knowledgeable advice about what to visit and when (we have a travel company and have organised specialised traveling for 19 years) for free.
For a reasonable fee, our guests can have access to:
Sea Kayaks, paddle boards, yoga (private or groups class), cooking classes.
Meals:
Freshly made meals can also be arranged: We can make a special private meal for you or you can join our family for dinner which can be eaten at the Casita or at sun room of our house, we don't provide lunch unless it is for a group. Breakfast is included.
The Neighborhood:
We don't have many neighbours, the few we have live up the hill and they are wonderful people. We are lucky to be surrounded by nature and feel fortunate to have a large property and that gives us a lot or privacy.
Interaction with Guests:
One member of our family will welcome our guests at their arrival and answer to their questions, give them tips about where to go, what to visit and more. We love to interact with our guests but also respect their privacy. Depending on the guests and our schedules we sometimes can be more available than others but there is always time for interaction in Chiloe where the pace of life is slower!!
Getting around:
There is public transport and there are also taxis to and from Ancud, they can take our guests up to the top of the hill (400 mts. walk from the property)
If our guests rent their own car, a 4x4 will come all the way to the property, but a 4x2 will have to stay 400 mts up the hill.
Everyone who stayed was happy to walk and we help them out when needed.
House Rules
Just lets be good to each other and lets be kind and respectful to nature, we are so fortunate that you are choosing to visit Chiloe, you are already starting unique an unforgettable journey
.
One last note about PROVISIONS:
Please buy your food in town before coming to stay, as there are no markets or shops nearby. There are, fishermen who stop on the beach--and you are welcome to buy fresh seafood from their catches--but this opportunity depends on weather conditions and other factors... so it is best to bring food (and anything else you might need from town) with you when you arrive. Thank you for having read it all and see you in Chiloe!
Other Things to Note:
We love and respect nature and have created a life here on this magnificent island where the air is clean, the rain is fresh and the storms are powerful. Chiloe is a generous and magical island that has welcomed us and gave us a home, we hope to help you have a taste of it and welcome you to paradise, for real ! even in the strongest storm with horizontal rain, you will feel that you are in paradise, all we ask our guests is to treat Chiloe and the beautiful Chilote people with the same respect they show towards us.
