The cabin was the perfect place to relax...The porch swing was a great place for breakfast, watch the river and enjoy sunrises and sunsets.
Couldn't have asked for anything better. Stayed in Quatro (4) and the bed and amenities were perfect. Great base to explore the Hill Country. Will be back again...!
It was a nice cabin, with mostly everything needed to get by..I did however spend my first hour there cleaning and disinfecting dishes, silverware, counters etc as it seemed dusty and questionable to me..not to be negative per say..I do that wherever I stay.. the water was clear, cold and refreshing..canoe ride was peaceful..mostly everyone was friendly and respected each others privacy. Great BBQ place at the Hunt store..highly recommend..overall it is now "my place"..curious how crowded it would be during peak season though.. Cabin Quatro..
After a year of going nowhere, we desperately needed to get out of the house. We decided to drive out to the Hill Country and stayed in the Casita as our base while we visited Fredericksburg, Kerrville, and relaxed by the river on property. Grilled every night and enjoyed the fire pit. Canoed down the river flanked by cypress trees and amazing backyards. It was a perfect place to relax and release some stress. We were sad to leave! We’re already planning to return with our bikes so we can ride the Hill Country and enjoy the beauty of the area!
The cabin was cute, clean, bed slept well, water was hot and the host very helpful.
The road that the cabin faced was busy and a bit loud but didn’t interfere with sleep and j did walk it each night.
Will stay there again if we ever go back to Hunt TX.
The cabin was perfect for our trip. Loved that we could bring our fur babies with us. The cabins are uniquely painted on the exterior which created a fun and whimsical atmosphere. The grounds were nice and well kept. Brian was a very gracious host.
We will definitely be back!
We had a great time at Casita Blu. The property is perfectly situated on a lovely stretch of the Guadalupe River and we had a great time hanging out and swimming by the river. The cabins are unique - poured concrete walls and hipped roofs from the 1930s and the interiors are clean and functional. The photos are accurate, the bed was comfortable and we really had everything we needed for our stay. The owner, Brian, is an excellent host and did a great job of taking care of the things we needed during our stay (and I'm not the easiest guest to deal with). The only drawbacks are that the AC units are a bit noisy, but they also kept the place very cool, which felt great coming in from the 90+ temps of a Texas Labor Day weekend. I hope we get back to Casita Blu sooner than later.
We were looking for a quiet camping getaway close to home where we could enjoy our time together and play in the river. This place was absolutely amazing and the owner, Brian, was so helpful and welcoming. We definitely had the experience we were looking for and so much more. This will be a place we continue to visit at all times of the year!
We had a great week in out little cottage at Casa Blu. With other family members we booked 4 of the 6 cottages. Our cottage was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed my morning coffee on the front porch and down on the waterfront. We will be back!!

Comfy little cabin!
My husband and I enjoyed our 2 night stay. It was a perfect get away. Close to great restaurants. Our favorite spot to relax was on the small dock in 2 chairs where we fed the perch and ducks.
