Come enjoy your home away on Capitol Hill. Located on a family friendly block with great neighbors, this apartment is centrally located in one of Washington, DC's oldest and most sought after neighborhoods. With Metro public transit (rail and bus) just 2 blocks away, you have access to explore this great city and get around with ease. At approximately 1000 sq. ft., the residence comfortably sleeps 4.

We do have a 2 night minimum stay

The apartment is fully furnished. All you need to do is show up.
The bedroom has a queen bed with new mattress and box spring
There is a sofa with pullout queen bed in the living room.
The dining room table seats 6.
There are 2 flat screen TVs (living room, bed room) with Netflix, cable channels, and access to local TV.
The kitchen is fully equipped with toaster, blender, coffee maker, dishware, flatware, glassware and cookware.

The apartment is situated within walking distance of the U.S. Capitol, numerous museums, restaurants and other attractions (almost all free).
Choose between Potomac Avenue Metro (1 block away) or take an easy 5 block walk to the Eastern Market Metro(rail) or hop on the Metrobus at the end of the block, 13th St, SE. If you are driving, there is public street parking available on the block. (We can provide a visitor's pass)
There is no shortage of restaurants to suit your taste all within a 4-5 block radius on Barracks Row.

Great Rental
Our family enjoyed our week-long stay at this rental. The apartment was in a convenient, safe neighborhood and was a short five-minute walk from the Potomac rail station (orange, silver and blue lines). The apartment was extremely clean and spacious and matched the listing description exactly. The hosts did a great job stocking the kitchen and communication before check-in was excellent. We would stay at this location again the next time we are in DC.

Perfect for your DC trip
Just spent the last few days in this gem in DC. Perfect location, short walk to the metro in a nice quiet neighborhood. The host is very accommodating and very clean . Will def stay here if ever in the DC area again and will recommend to anyone I know traveling to the area!

Great DC location!
This was a fantastic VRBO experience! We did not rent a car for the time we were visiting DC area, and this location was perfect. It’s a short walk to the grocery store, and there’s a metro quite close, which is how we got around. We were here with our two kids, and the area felt very safe. The hosts were easy to communicate with both prior to and during our stay. Overall a great experience!

Great place, very clean and the host were great people. When we arrived, check in was easy and everything that was listed was on point! The metro, grocery, CVS everything is walking distance. We had a great stay and DC is something to see!

Property was just as advertised. Clean and cozy. The host came outside to greet me when I was loading up to leave and couldn't have been nicer. He even loaned me and air compressor to put air in one of my tires. Would definitely recommend.Trampas Smith

Everything you need!
Communication with Darryl & Daphne were great. So glad it was just a few steps down to get in. Everything was well thought out in the apartment. Kitchen was well equipped, bathroom had everything you need from blow dryer to hair products and body washes. Plenty of space. Close to metro and subway. Thank you for such a nice stay!

Great little place to stay in DC
We had a fantastic time in DC. Our place was about a five minute walk from the DC Metro Potomac stop and about a 10 minute walk from the grocery store (Safeway). Very easy to get around the city and our place was small but cozy for a family of four. Our teens were able to sleep on the pullout bed. Daryll was very helpful but gave us plenty of space to enjoy our vacation. Kitchen was nice so that we could have breakfast or cook dinner as we tried to save a little money. All in all a very nice place and would stay again the next time we are in DC.

Property was clean and every detail was thought through from the well stocked kitchen to the living room charging station. There's even a gluten free bakery down the street. The location is convenient for the Potomac metro station. Daryl was very responsive with any questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay!
Apartment is actually bigger then it photographs. Fully stocked with everything you’ll need. Super clean! Charming neighborhood. Easy street parking. Close to all tourist attractions. Owner was quick to respond with any questions. It was a great stay and I’d recommend to friends visiting DC.

Very nice, clean and nice and clean
PROS: I have stayed in many VRBOs, cleanliness is always at the top of my list and this is at the top of my list. It is nicely decorated and hosts have thought of just about everything a guest might need in the kitchen; in addition everything is like new. Easy walk to the Metro. If we ever return to DC, we would absolutely stay here. CONS: I hesitate to say anything negative because the hosts have gone to such lengths to make this place so comfortable: the bathroom is very "cozy" but my husband and I made it work just fine.

Excellent place and a good location
It's really convenient being only about a block and a half from the metro, with a few restaurants around as well. Relatively quiet area with lots of people walking their dogs everyday. Inside the furniture is in good condition and comfortable, clean, and really well stocked with amenities such as coffee, tea, soap, toiletries, towels, pillows, blankets and such. Washer and dryer are a big win too, pack fewer clothes! There's a full kitchen with everything you need to cook if you want to. It really worked great for what we needed!

We loved all the extras in the apartment…coffee and other kitchen essentials, shower products, lotions around the space, ponchos, comfy sleeping options, and more! Plus, the location was amazing…very quick walk to the metro which we used every day, close to eating options - loved the Roost eating venue. Great stay, great location
The relative proximity to the metro station is ideal if one plans on visiting the local tourist sites. The kitchen had utensils, cooking ware and everything needed if planning to cook. The laundry/dryer worked. I came with 2 teenagers; one slept on the sleeper sofa, the other slept on an available cot.

Nice place - Clean, Well Stocked, Nicely kept
We stayed at this location for two nights. It was very clean and nicely maintained. It looks as if it was recently renovated. The kitchen was very well stocked with the basics (coffee, filters, dishes, etc). There were plenty of extra linens and blankets, etc. It was located comfortably close to the major DC attractions and two Metro stations. The owners were very easy to work with and seemed like very nice people.
