WOW! Amazing House. Amazing Location

Wonderful home. This is the perfect home for a family or two. Location is great. House is great. Dock and water is great. We brought our 20 foot Mako, the boat ramp is literally across the street. The canal is deep even at low tide, narrow but deep. The river is a beautiful ride. Will stay here again for sure.

Cute house

I think this house was cute and worked for our family trip but there are a few things that would have improved our stay. The house is about 30 min from Crystal River and our boat rental was 45 min away. Not a huge deal but next time I think we would prefer to be closer. The house could use some new cooking utensils, additional bar glasses, and a thorough dusting. My son has terrible allergies and the dust was 1/2 inch thick on the blinds and artwork located in the twin bedroom. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of linens. The back lanai and dock is a pretty neat set up and the commercial ice maker was a huge bonus. We loved the den with the leather sofa and tv. The kitchen is spacious and was great for my brother who loves to cook. The landscape and the home is well decorated and welcoming. There is plenty of parking and the neighborhood is quiet. The marina across the street gave us some free shrimp for the kids to fish and they were incredibly friendly. I do wish the AC could have been a little cooler than what was allowed, at night it got pretty hot. Overall, a cute house with tons of space just outside of Crystal river. Property manager was excellent at communication. Thank you

Beautiful home

The home had everything we needed and wanted. Beautiful area also. The Blackwater restaurant was excellent, seafood was fresh off the boat. If you want to cook your own seafood visit Brooks Dockside seafood in inglis. We were able to pick our fish right off the boat, best red snapper ever. Will hopefully return in the winter to see the manatees.

Perfect girlfriend retreat

Perfect home for my friends and I to come together for a few days of rest and relaxation after not being together for a couple of years because of the pandemic. The house is comfortable and easy to get in and out as it is all on one level. We enjoyed coffee and conversation for hours out on the screened in porch at the water’s edge and movies each night in the comfortable den! Would certainly stay here again!

Great Family Get Together

Awesome and definitely would rent this home again. Cleanliness was a PLUS. Size and Comfort a PLUS. Peaceful neighborhood a PLUS. AND PLUS, close to things we enjoyed, tubing and a fun boat ride at Birds Underwater. The Lanai was awesome, we enjoyed sitting out at the table, we think we saw a Dolphin, it was something big! Awesome ice machine. We did find a small grill but did not use it. We cook BK each morning, dinner on night. The kitchen is Great, lots of room and the Keurig Coffee maker is the BEST. Nice set of dishes. ONLY negative is, yes plenty of pots and pans BUT the renter's have abused them. The frying pans have been Burnt, we tried to clean them the best we could. Also, is there hard water? The posts pans had a white stain that would not come off. We tried another brand of Dishwasher tabs, but didn't seem to help. ONLY 2 wine glasses and 2 Margarita glasses, available. Maybe time to clean rugs or replace? Picture shows white chairs around table, the now have covers over them. These are very minor things, would not keep me from renting this home. I just wanted to give a little update, for your expectations. YES, I would rent again and when I ever return to the area, I would check availability. Also the Marina, right across the Street and BlackWater Restaurant , probably a block or 2 away. ( With one of those glasses of wine, I was enjoying and watching TV in Bed, I fell asleep and of course, I spilled wine on the bed. I sincerely apologize for that.) Thanks again, for a wonderful Birthday weekend with family.

Fantastic getaway

A friend and I just spent 4 days fishing the area. It was our second time staying in the home and won’t be out last. The home is location is perfect and is well stocked. The Marina and boat ramp is directly across the street.

Canal house

Nice quiet, safe neighborhood! Beautiful house with boat house on a canal! Clean and well represented! We will go back for sure! Chartered a fishing trip and caught a few nice fish too!

Great house, location and management!

We chose this spot for a fishing trip and are very happy we did. It is across the street from Yankeetown Marina for launching your boat ($5), getting fuel & bait. There is parking for a truck & trailer on one side of the house leaving the carport and long driveway open. No need to buy ice since the house has a huge icemaker on the screened porch by the floating dock. Also has a chest freezer and small fridge in the boat house (which is about 10 steps from the main house). Even at a negative low tide the canal was over 2' deep in the center and navigable for my 20' bay boat. The house is comfortable and well stocked. Keurig style coffee maker and everything you need for cooking. House was very clean and updated. Carlos, the property manager, was great! Very communicative & helpful and even gave us some fishing spots! We will be back.

Perfect Getaway!

Had a great time here. We loved using the lanai in the evening to hang out. The amount of space in the bedrooms was perfect for our group. We had 2 8yr olds that never once asked to turn on the tv, they were fully busy the entire time. Owners very responsive as well.

I really enjoyed cooking in the lovely kitchen, watching tv n the beautiful den, sleeping in the comfy beds, and watching the water from the lanai. Kept hoping to see an alligator, but never did.

Yankeetown Vacation Home

Our entire family enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. It is exactly as advertised. The home was spacious with comfortable bedrooms. The commercial ice maker was a huge bonus, as was the convenience of the marina. We were able to dock two boats easily. The trip down the Withlacoochee River to the Gulf was beautiful.

It was my husband and myself and our 2 girls (labs) the house was right on river, the back yard was perfect. The house was set up very nice and the grand kids loved the second living room in back. They had fun catching catfish (using hot dogs). It is very close to Crystal River, Inverness. There is loads of things to do.I found our place to go too see our kids. The Mc Phereson's were wonderful!! It is so peaceful there. Thank you again for letting us use your home on the river. Jim & Lori Wellington

Yankeetown home base

This home had a great layout and ample room for 4 adults and 4 kids. We had a busy and short trip so we didn’t really get to make the most of the house except as home base. Visited the nearby trails and 3 Sisters Springs in Crystal River. Safe, quiet neighborhood - marina conveniently steps across the road. Appreciated the professional ice maker!!

Birthday getaway

Hi stayed in this home with my family of 9. We loved the home and the town, it was the perfect place to disconnect for 6 days. We visited the natural springs in the area. As a floridian I felt I needed to do this.. My kids are adults now so is was an exceptional town to stay. The home was fully equipped with everything we need. As latin people that we are we took food for 10 days. LOL.. If you love to fish like my son does no worries you have a marina infront of the house. Also the an ice maker in the back no need to run to the store for that. We will defenitely consider staying there again, safe travels.

Location was a hub for good day trips but neighborhood itself was rather commercial. Small bugs were always a surprise in bath and kitchen. Manager quick to resolve lack of hand towels and washcloths.

Central location, Great space, lots of extras

This place was in a great location, close to Crystal River and surrounding area. Lots of space for 6 grown men. The ice machine was a blessing, as we came to town for a fishing trip. The only 2 issues we had were, the ice maker door dispenser on the refrigerator worked sometimes and some small bugs crawling around in random parts of the home. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

Great place

Beautiful place. Old Florida feel. House was great fishing was good. They actually have a huge ice maker. Probably saved us $100 for Ice for our coolers. We had 2 boats plenty of parking
