The place had everything we needed. It was clean and has a lot of outside gathering spots we would have loved to enjoy but the rain, unfortunately, dictated otherwise.

Nice but not as expected
This property came up when I searched Yountville. Having never been to Napa I had no idea it was in a completely different area. Location was fine just not as expected.
Pictures of outside spaces on the listing are totally misleading-property needs attention.
Interior was fine, fireplace was nice, beds were comfortable and the space was clean but not particularly well appointed.

This location is in a great location and was
midpoint to some of the great vineyards near Santa Rosa and Sonoma. It was; however, a bit disappointing as we expected a beautiful outdoor setting and to be able to hang out outside when not out touring the area. Much of the outdoor furniture was old, the paint was peeling off some of the chairs and some of the other outdoor furniture was quite rickety and appeared as though it may crumble if one sat in them. The bocce area has not been maintained and had many weeds. It appeared No effort was made to prepare the outdoor area for guests. The outdoor table and chairs were covered in dirt and dead leaves, as were the patios. The stairs leading from the living room area to the back outdoor area was beginning to rot and one of the outdoor chairs was completely broken and had been thrown in the corner, along with a very old hot tub cover which clearly had been there for some time.
The area was beautiful and relaxing. The house was beautiful and clean. We were gifted a bottle of local wine which was very much appreciated. If we ever decide to go back we will definitely stay here again

Great Location, Clean Inside - Outside Needs Attention
The location of this property is tough to beat in Sonoma. You're a 10 minute drive from 20-30 wineries and tasting rooms. We thoroughly enjoyed that aspect of the trip. The inside of the house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped for the meals we prepared there. The TV was a little wonky - but we figured it out. The negatives of this review fall mainly on the outside - which is a total shambles. It looks NOTHING like the pictures on the listing. Overgrown and not maintained for a few years by the looks of it. The only positive was that the hot tub was cleaned and we were able to use that a couple of times. Overall, due to the location and the inside of the house we gave it 3 out of 5 stars, and if the owner ever is able to restore the outside to how they are portrayed in the listing, it would be 5.
The house was very cozy and friendly. The kitchen was set up nicely and worked well for 1 or 2 couples.
After roaming around Kenwood Sonoma and Santa Rosa, we had enjoyable evenings with the gas fireplace and big-screen TV!
While we were there, it rained most days and nights, but there were some breaks in the weather to enjoy the hot tub.
If you are a TALL person, the main bathroom shower head is at least 7' so you can have an enjoyable shower.
The Weber gas grill was clean, and we enjoyed cooking on it.
Because of the rain, we didn't enjoy the entire property and all it had to offer.
Thank you, Peter!
Nice property near lots of wineries. Nearest larger town is Santa Rosa. Just a warning one bed is super hard and one is super soft. Also if you are going in winter, the heating is a bit odd - two heaters in bedroom and then a gas fireplace in main room that heats up super quick so you have to turn it on then off when it gets too hot and then back on.
Nice home in a good location close to the wineries and nice restaurants. Gardener came and trimmed up the grounds. We enjoyed the Bocce Ball court. Perfect for two couples, 2 bathrooms and bedrooms with a Queen and King beds.
The cutest and coziest house that is tucked into the Kenwood neighborhood. Walking distance to several wineries and the local market! Excellent house for a weekend with the girls or something a little more romantic. Hot tub was in good working condition and well taken care of. The yard was a bit messy but it was no big deal. The property has many mature trees that drop leaves. They provide the property with so much privacy, I think it's better. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable stay!
We enjoyed a long weekend in wine country. Our stay at this property met all our expectations. Close to the wineries we wanted to visit. This house was the perfect retreat in the evenings.
The house was great for our needs. Quiet neighborhood & plenty of space for 2 couples. The screen on the sliding back door needs some attention. The back patio was a nice way to end the day with a bottle of wine.

No AC
I never leave reviews but feel inclined to say that there is no AC in the house. Only 2 of the 3 fans in the house worked. It was in the mid 90’s during our stay which made for some miserable nights. If it’s the winter time, not a problem but would recommend window units in the rooms or better fans.
The hot tub was clean and felt great after a long day.
The outside area definitely needs attention as others have mentioned. However, the no AC is a deal breaker for us staying here again.

Not what we expected
We visited 7/10-7/16 and experienced a heat wave. The house has no air conditioning which made for some uncomfortable nights, and some of the screen doors didn’t work properly to let air in. Towels and linens were sub-par, TV was not user friendly, and back yard was overgrown and in serious need of upkeep and maintenance. As another previous guest shared, we needed to sweep things off and the outdoor furniture was dusty and not comfortable making it difficult to enjoy the mornings and evenings outside. The neighborhood was quiet and we found a quaint park nearby while going for a morning walk. The house was functional (except for no electricity or ability to contact the owner until power was restored at 2:20 am the first day we were there) but did not feel like a vacation home that was ready to make guests feel welcomed and cared for.
The home was very comfortable in a quiet neighborhood. It was quite nice to stroll or ride bikes in the evening. And the location was great, quite close to many wineries and restaurants. We easily explored Napa, Sonoma and Bodega Bay. The weather was perfect most of the week, however It was quite hot when we arrived, but even without AC it was bearable and cooled off nicely that night…fortunately the weather was beautiful for the remainder of the week.
Had a wonderful stay although we didn't get to spend that much time at the house it sure was a great place to sleep! The beds were very comfortable and the hot tub was great after a long weekend of walking around. The area is absolutely breathtaking and close to anything we needed.

Not up to expectations
The bathrooms had no heat, which is important in chilly mornings and evenings. The backyard where the grill and hot tub were located was not maintained. There was debris everywhere. To use the outside table we had to sweep the patio. Guests should not have to clean to use the facilities. We never used the hot tub for this reason. The bed in the master bedroom was the worst bed we have ever slept in. There was a foam topper on the mattress that surrounded you have formed a sauna. The kitchen equipment was bare minimum. For the fee charged it should have been up to date and first class. It was not.
Thank you for having created an incredible soft place to land after a day of wine tasting. My husband kept saying how it was perfect. The fire place was a cozy way to warm up after the light rains and cool days and relax.
Traveling to wine country with friends that are huge pinot noir fans, so we wanted to do both Sonoma area and Napa. I found this location which turned out awesome since we could almost walk to multiple wineries, and were close to Santa Rosa, Sonoma and a little drive to Napa.
There are two bathrooms and an outdoor shower with a spa. The house has plenty of shampoo and conditioner, soap, and a nice wine was there to greet us on arrival.
They even had the spa on and warmed up for us on arrival, a nice surprise.
The location is excellent, seriously a half mile to probably 3 wineries and another 3 within 1.5 miles. Fireplace heated up the house quickly and there were fans for the bedrooms in case it got warm during the day.
Good communication and easy check out, we will be back!
Small miscommunication at the beginning of our stay but it was very quickly rectified. Very prompt communication from Peter. We went with friends and really enjoyed ourselves.
