The beach cottage was exactly as described and shown in the photos. Comfortable for the 5 of us. Very convenient to boardwalk and West Cliff Dr. Host gave great recommendations for grocery stores, coffee shops etc. We very much enjoyed our stay!
Property was nice inside, Cooled down nice with fans in and doors open. We enjoyed hanging out on the patio while we were on the property. We had 5 in our group and had plenty of room.
Family of five, 3 from Minneapolis, one from Bozeman, MT, and one lives in Santa Cruz… all 30 plus… great location, comfy beds, had an amazing 5 days!!!
House was clean. Enjoyed the porch and its ocean views. Definitely get to see the hustle and bustle and surf front living. (We loved the people watching which may not be for everyone).
House was short on silverware for 6 as listed (luckily we only had 4 guest and there was enough) would like to have had more toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags for use. Be sure to bring some extra or be prepared to buy some more. Over all experience A+. Hope to come again next year.

Camping in a parking lot
Unappealing location. No place to sit outside except a small deck in the parking lot. House was stuffy and hot at night because we didn’t want to open the windows due to safety concerns about the location.
Given the proximity to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk and the Municipal Wharf, I was worried: would it be loud at night?
Nope: we had two very quiet nights. This unit isn't luxurious, but instead super charming: a classic vintage beach shack in walking distance from major attractions.
We barely used our car: we walked along West Cliff Drive for the views, walked to Pacific Garden Mall for food, played at the Boardwalk, had beers on the wharf.
First time renting this cottage. Fantastic location! Best part of stay was prompt and helpful interactions and suggestions with the property manager!

The location of this house cannot be beat! We could walk to everything. Owner was responsive to our questions, house was clean and tidy, and our stay was relaxing and fun. I would highly recommend this place!
Good communication and speedy replies. Clean cottage. It is as advertised. Location is super (you can walk everywhere) and it was quiet at night (February holiday weekend).
Minor items: A number of electrical outlet cover plates (at least 3) are broken—need to replace those. We couldn’t find the sheets for the futon. Ceiling light was burnt out in one bedroom, but there were spare bulbs so no real issue.
The pictures on the listing accurately represent this small beach bungalow. It is 4 connected rooms with one bathroom that connects the two bedrooms. There is a large deck with a table that has a view of the ocean over the parking lot and street. While the outside is a bit weathered, the inside is clean with bright paint and cute beach themed artwork. The location makes up for any imperfections. The owner is very responsive and helpful.
