Cozy and comfy place, I LOVE the kitchen!
Loved this property and found it to be exactly as we needed. Location is great, close to bus stop and streetcar, or just 15-20 min walk to the subway station.(Streetcar will take you to the station too.) And there's a Loblaws(hope my memory still works) right up the subway station. During our visit in Toronto, we used public transportation and didn't rent a car, but there are plenty parking spaces around the neighborhood.
Ottilie offers a place with so much character, and the extensive personal touches that will make you fell like you're in your home in Toronto. My favourite spot is the kitchen and dining table, and my cousins loved the master bedroom.
We were really lucky to be able to stayed in this place, will definitely visit again someday!
Thank you Ottilie!!
Ottilie's is a terrific host - a super-nice person and attentive to every detail. We enjoyed staying in her beautiful home, artfully decorated, a well stocked modern kitchen, and with a gorgeous garden. We enjoyed evenings on the front porch and sampled the excellent bakeries in the neighborhood. We hope to return soon.
Great home in Toronto. Beautiful, large, high spec.

Easy access to anything you need
Ottilie welcomed us into her home, showed us the essentials and recommended numerous restaurants and activities. Fresh flowers were abundant in the home. She highlighted the WiFi access and we had no issues during your two week stay.
Parking was available and a dog park was only a block away through the Laneway. Coffee shops and pastries were less than three blocks away. Since mass transit was so close (across from the numerous cafes), we minimized driving in the city. Groceries and Pharmacies were an easy walk or short street car ride. There were more restaurants within a mile that were expected and both a butcher and fish market quite close. A Farmers Market was available on Saturday mornings near the dog park. Great location!
The home was warm and inviting in fall and the trees on the street were very colorful. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great home!
We really enjoyed our stay in Toronto, and this home made it more enjoyable. We were here for about 6 weeks in the summer. The kitchen is fully stocked, and we ate most of our meals at home as a result. We loved sitting on the covered front porch at night, enjoying a glass of wine. It’s a nice neighborhood, a short walk to St. Clair where public transportation is easily accessible. The house is very neat and clean, and the owner was very accommodating and helpful. We would stay here again!

Truly a home away from home
This is truly a home. It has a unique feel that sets it apart from other houses/apartments.
The kitchen is truly fully stocked. It has every pot, pan, cooking utensil you could imagine.
The neighborhood is quite nice. Pleasant quiet streets for walking, and the main street (St. Clair West) has many restaurants and cafes. It's also easy to get to the subway and other neighborhoods via public transit.
Ottilie is a flexible and thoughtful host. She was accommodating of our arrival time late at night (because of our flight schedule), and left some lights on and the fan on so that the home felt like a home when we arrived.

Truly, a 'Home Away' from home.
Having lived in Toronto for three years when based there for work purposes a decade ago, my wife, daughters and I were looking to return for a vacation, to visit friends and to explore former haunts. Being fortunate to have a month free to do so, we couldn't believe our luck when we came across this house while researching for a home away from home.
We arrived in Toronto a little worried that it all looked too good to be true when viewed on line. The profile pictures were charming, the street looked quiet, the location was ideal for TTC access downtown, local restaurants were numerous and grocery shopping looked easy. Within five minutes of arriving at the front door and meeting our host, however, we knew we'd found exactly what we were looking for...and more.
Whether you are new to Toronto or returning for a visit, this is the ideal property to make your base. It is in a great neighbourhood that has everything you need. The house has a unique style and charm that just makes you feel at home, relaxed and comfortable
We're only back in Scotland a few days since leaving Toronto, and already we are missing sitting on the porch - front and back - BBQ'ing outside and cooking in the well equipped and spacious kitchen. We're already wondering if this experience has ruined us for future trips - can anywhere else live up to our experience on Rushton Road?
We highly recommend this property and hope that others have as great a time staying there as we did. For our part, we're already thinking of excuses to go back!

Lovely Home
My husband and I were in Toronto for our nieces wedding and wanted a place that was close to our family. We completely lucked out when we found this home. The communication between us and the owner was very helpful and done in a timely manner which we greatly appreciated. Upon arrival the owner met with my husband and gave him a tour of the home and provided him with all of the pertinent information.
The home is beautifully decorated and was a perfect fit for our time in Toronto. We only wish we would have been able to spend a little more time around the area. When we were choosing the area even though it was close to family we were delighted it was near Wytchwood Barns (we did go to the farmers market on Saturday).
The location is so close to a great street that is filled with amazing restaurants and little shops.

the loveliest home in a great neighbourhood!
This house is just so charming and cozy, with so many great design details and character woven in - perfectly clean and well appointed, and we adore this neighbourhood - quiet but so close to some great shops and parks. Exactly what we were looking for!
