Everything about the cottage is high-quality. It’s a very nice setting, close walk to town and quiet. The king bed is super comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.
The cottage was even nicer than it appeared to be in the photos on the Vrbo website. The rooms were spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the kitchen had everything I needed, the shower was perfect, and it was great to have a washer and dryer. Carol was a terrific host. She provided clear instructions and suggestions of things to explore. The neighborhood is lovely and accessible to most everything in Sebastopol. It was a great area for walking, too.
A wonderful location to celebrate a special occasion. We will definitely be coming back!We loved the cottage’s central location in a quiet neighborhood, walkable to the downtown area and an easy drive to the coast. The secluded cottage has a thoughtfully stocked kitchen, a comfortable living room (great for movie watching), a desk with everything one could want, and an intimate, warm bedroom with lovely linens. Carol was attentive and quick to respond to messages, ensuring we had what we needed, but always mindful of our privacy. We are so fortunate to have found this place, and to have met Carol as our host!
My daughter and I spent a long weekend in the cottage. Our host was available and made certain everything was ready for a very comfortable stay. We flew into Santa Rosa and rented a car. The cottage is located close to Main and downtown. The coast and redwoods are just a short drive, making the location excellent.
We stayed in this cottage for nine nights and couldn’t have been happier. The host Carol is so gracious, friendly and offered us everything we needed as well as great tips for things to do and where to go. The bed is extremely comfortable and cozy and the kitchen is well equipped for anyone who likes to cook like I do. The bathroom is large with a modern glass shower and plenty of room for two people to get ready for the day. Location in the city is close to stores and restaurants if you like to walk to things or just take a stroll to check out the local art and beautiful homes. We will definitely be back to this property in the near future. Thank you to Carol for her great hospitality and sharing her wonderful cottage with us.
We loved this little one bedroom accommodation. It had everything we needed - a comfortable bed, a great bathroom, a cute small yet complete kitchen and a great living area. Carol was a terrific host and was readily available to help with anything you might need. The walkability to downtown was great and the proximity to all the wonderful things to do in the area can’t be beat. Highly recommend and would definitely book here again.
The unit was very spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. Off street parking was available with a shared driveway. Our host Carol was most generous with her time and attention to our requests. We can recommend this property for either short or longer stays. No shortage of wineries and fine dining in this small town.
Property was super cute and clean with everything we needed. Located within walking distance to grocery store and local restaurants. Carol was super the whole stay. Would stay there again for sure
The property is gorgeous. House is clean, chic, current, well stocked and had the best coffee! Great location. Quiet area. Really enjoyed our stay. Will recommend to friends and most certainly be back. Thank you!
Private space, nice and quiet. Beautiful gardens. Carol is welcoming and accommodating and easy to communicate with. We will definitely come back! The space of 600 sq feet felt great for two people. Washer and dryer a plus!
We have stayed here before and remember how lovely the home and neighborhood was to stay. Carol is very nice and friendly and the location can't be beat. You can walk to the dining areas and a quick, easy drive of 20 minutes or so will get you to Doran Beach. We plan on coming back as often as we can.
Carol was a fantastic host. She was very friendly and offered items like fresh linens and towels throughout our stay. Her place is beautifully updated. The bed is VERY comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware. Many items/decorations from Restoration Hardware and Pottery Barn.
The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Highly recommend this place. Walkable, comfortable and nice!

Nice
This cottage was very nice, clean and well appointed. It has obviously been recently updated. We were very relaxed while staying there... and the bed is comfortable! For us, a good thing was how close it is to stores, restaurants and other things we wanted to see and do. If you are able to walk a bit, it is a great location. Carol was easy to reach and very responsive through our planning and staying. If we're ever in Sebastopol again, we will definitely stay here.

A restful stay
My husband and I had a very restful Thanksgiving break in this property. We found the property very clean, the bathroom and small kitchen modern and beautifully remodeled and the house conveniently situated near downtown Sebastopol. We could walk to grocery stores (very useful for us since we fixed a simple Thanksgiving meal in the house!) and restaurants and explore the beautiful city of Sebastopol. We particularly enjoyed the unique "junk" art on Florence Avenue! Carol the owner was very accommodating and allowed us extra time in the house if we needed it.

Quiet, charming cottage
This cottage, attached to the main bungalow, is beautifully appointed. It is quite luxurious with a new, large bathroom, high quality towels, a kitchen one can cook in, and a deck on which to relax. This is a very quiet corner of charming Sebastapol. One can walk to delicious restaurants. Our host was appropriately attentive without ever being intrusive. We enjoyed tomatoes from her garden. She was most helpful since the day we left wildfires had erupted in Santa Rosa overnight, and parts of the main highway were closed. While we saw the ash and the brown sky, we were unaware of just what had caused these phenomena until her text to us explained the situation. Luckily, as she said, we were heading west and up the coast (although there was smoke in the air everywhere). I would certainly stay here again.

Wonderful home away from home
My wife and I had a great time in Sebastopol and absolutely loved saying in Carol’s cottage. She is an awesome host and very much gave a good deal of though into how to setup and stock this wonderful home. It was nice and quiet and very comfortable for us. The location is perfect and within a short walk to the downtown area where lots of shops and great restaurants are. We definitely will see if the cottage is available when we visit the area next time. Thank you Carol!

About the host
Hosted by Carol
Carol has always lived in northern California. She recently retired and enjoys hiking, biking and gardening. She is easy going and enjoys people. In this photo Carol is in her garden
Why they chose this property
Carol moved to Sebastopol because of the small town charm, the Mediterranean climate and the close proximity to the ocean and to San Francisco.
What makes this property unique
It is an easy walk from the cottage to the many excellent restaurants and unique shops in town. There is also the new Barlow Center, wine tasting rooms, 3 brew pubs, the alternative Rialto Cinema. Around the corner of the cottage are a parade of creative sculptures on Florence Avenue by Patrick Amiot. His art is a town treasure.
