Tiny Tasteful 2

This space is a delightful mix of beauty, comfort, and location. We keep an immaculate, cozy home perfectly nestled near the best Austin has to offer.

The apartment is a studio with outside sitting area, beautiful gardens, and comfy bed (1 queen and 1 queen sofa futon).

Walkable to many restaurants (The Tavern, Austin Land & Cattle Company, Wink, Cipollina, Galaxy Cafe, Josephine House, Jeffery's), as well as Pease Park, Medici Coffee, and more. Also close to 6th Street (for bar hoppers), 2nd Street (for shoppers), the Warehouse District (for food-o-philes), Whole Foods and our beloved BookPeople (for bookworms).

No kitchen (only small refrigerator, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, French press and hot plate).

Not for guests who want to party. No parties or excessive noise; No loud noise after 9pm weekdays and 10pm weekends (residential area). Please be mindful as there is an apartment below you and that loud sounds can easily disturb guest(s) downstairs and/or neighbors. Thank you for your consideration.

Early check-in: Generally guest(s) check-out and then we need several hours to sparkle and clean the apartment. You can check-in early after 11:30am, as long as you know that the space will probably not yet be clean.

Late check-out: If no guest(s) are checking in the day you leave, then usually you can have a late check-out. Otherwise, we will need to start cleaning to be ready for the next guest(s).

Bag drop: You are always welcomed to drop you bags off early or leave them to pick up later in the day (if so contact us beforehand so that we can make arrangements).

Parking: Unfortunately there's no dedicated parking space. The only parking is on the street (free), but usually there is plenty of space and it has not been a problem. If you have any problem just let us know.

Getting Around: Although we recommend renting a car if you are planning on traveling outside of Austin, there are many ways of getting around central Austin:
• Ride shares (Lyft, Uber) (few people use taxis anymore in Austin)
• Dockless electric bikes, scooters, and mopeds (Bird, Lime, Wheels, etc.)
• Austin MetroBike (bike share that uses docking stations - less popular than the dockless options)
• CapMetro (Austin's public transportation, but it is not popular)

Great little spot in a perfect location

-Thoroughly equipped and supplied kitchen and bathroom -Very clean and cozy-Comfortable bed, plenty of seating -Great location- short walks to good food, good coffee, large park with miles of walking trails.

Great Location & Helpful Host

Located near restaurants and a great park within walking distance. Easily drivable to everything in Austin. Free on street parking was no problem. Property was mostly clean, but could use some updates. I don’t know that anything was truly dirty, but things like the sink and bathtub looked a bit discolored, likely just due to age. Kitchen is somewhat oddly appointed (i.e. no dinner sized plates or coffee mugs). Overall, we had a great stay!

Amazing stay!

My partner and I absolutely loved staying here and will definitely come back for future Austin trips, it’s in the best location and felt secluded while still being close to all the things Austin had to offer!

Another great stay

I was down for college move in. The location is perfect, close enough to West campus but far enough that it’s quiet and peaceful! Communication with the owner was great, he was very responsive. Very well appointed with most everything I needed! Will definitely be back!

Great little apartment

I spent 4 nights in this great little apartment. It’s exactly as described, and the photos are accurate. The neighbourhood is beautiful, and there is plenty of restaurants within walking distance. I’m very happy I opted to stay here instead of a hotel, and would definitely try staying here again if I’m ever back in Austin.

Austin stay

Tiny Tasteful 2 was exactly as described. It had everything we needed for our stay. Clarksville is the perfect central neighborhood when visiting Austin! My only critique would be the shower. It was pretty slippery! Just be mindful when getting in! Overall I’d easily suggested staying here!

We'll be back!

It was the perfect tiny house for our fun weekend get-a-way. Packed full of amenities. Both my husband & I being coffee lovers, especially enjoyed the coffee options. We were there for the UT football game (Hook'em) and the location was perfect, just a short drive in a great neighborhood. Parking on the street was never an issue. We plan to be back next year for another game and will plan to stay here again.

Exactly what we were looking for!

My wife and I were in town for Formula 1 and this location was perfect. Very nice area. Quiet off street accommodation. Easy parking available on the street. Host was very easy to get ahold of and communicate with. What a gem!

Very Nice!

My husband and I had a lovely time! I did catch a cold toward the end of our stay in Austin so we spent quite a bit of time in the room - plenty of amenities made it comfortable and it was great for the location.

Perfect Parents weekend

We were in town for UT parents weekend and did not want the hassle of a hotel. This spot was perfection! On a quiet street in the most convenient Clarksville location! So well appointed with everything you might need! Will most definitely return!

Adorable Hideaway

This place was amazing. The owners were incredible and super responsive in getting us pre-check-in information. The studio is a great size and very comfortable. The entire appearance is clean and comfy. The kitchenette is nicely stocked, so is the bathroom. The bed is super comfortable. The location is just west of downtown and we could have easily not had a car and enjoyed downtown via scooters and bikes (if it had not been 110 degrees). We never had any issues finding parking or with Uber finding us and we always felt safe in and around the property. We will 100% be staying here in the future when visiting Austin.

Hidden Gem

My girlfriends and I do an annual trip and this year it was to Austin. We found this cute studio just for a place to crash after adventuring Austin. We all LOVED it. It was hidden and with the cutest little patio space. Loved all the greenery we had, almost felt like we weren't really in the city. Also when you walked down to the space you can sneak a peak of the capital right through the trees! Highly recommend for a small group.

Wonderful stay!

This is an adorable and wonderfully arranged garage apartment in the Clarksville neighborhood of Austin. Plenty of on street parking. Plenty of amenities. A short walk to many cool restaurants,( we checked out Lin Asian bistro because we were BBQed out at that point) and a view of the Capitol building right down the street. Very easy communication with the property manager. Perfect weekend stay.

Adorable, perfect in every way…

My adult daughter and I met at this great Vrbo to reconnect, relax and enjoy Austin. This studio was absolutely wonderful. Spotless, had everything we needed and communication with owner and property manager was flawless. I highly recommend for anyone that wants to explore Austin, relaxing and enjoying the birds singing to you in the morning this place is for you! My daughter and I will be back next year. Fabulous little ATX gem

Lovely stay in one of my favorite areas of ATX- close to downtown but walkable to local favorites. Short drive to anything you'd want to explore in the city and the little back house is a perfect respite after a long day. Cozy, clean, and safe.
