About this property
Spacious West End home with ample guest parking
Our coveted West End location places you just minutes from the action of Provincetown's center or you can retreat from the bustle of Commercial Street to the privacy of the terraced back patio.
Our newly renovated home is one of a handful of historic homes in Provincetown known as a 'floater home'. It's a nickname given to the roughly 30 houses that originally sat on Long Point and were floated on barges across the harbor to locations mostly in the West End—many on our very own street! To identify a floater home, look for a distinctive blue and white plaque mounted on the house as you walk through town.
Brand new hardwood hickory floors run throughout the first floor. The fully remodeled, top-of-the-line kitchen has new cabinets, quartz counters, and open shelving made of reclaimed wood. It's fully-equipped with brand new stainless GE appliances, including a separate under-counter ice machine to save you trips to the market to fill your coolers or cocktail glasses.
Just off the kitchen is a full-sized laundry room and through the kitchen's back door you can access the patio where a new Webber grill, picnic table and stone benches with custom cushions make the perfect location for an evening cookout. Further back, a cozy seating area stays sun-dappled all day and surrounds the large outdoor fireplace and stone retaining walls designed by famed stone artisan, Columbus of Provincetown. We hope you'll spot other examples of his eye-catching stonework as you explore Provincetown.
The large living and dining area features the original 1850s timber ceiling. A farmhouse dining table easily seats eight and there is plenty of comfortable seating for everyone in front of the living room's wall-mounted flatscreen Smart TV. SONOS speakers are also located throughout the house. You're welcome to connect to either and log into your favorite streaming services.
One of the home's four bedrooms, outfitted with a king bed, is located on the first floor and includes an en-suite bath. The home's second freshly remodeled bath is also located on the first floor off a hallway between the kitchen and living room.
Upstairs are the home's other three bedrooms. The smallest has a queen bed and front-facing windows that offer a peek at the harbor. The largest bedroom runs from the front to the rear of the house offering an amazing cross breeze and is furnished with two queen beds. Lastly, the rear upstairs bedroom (the best for sleeping in late) has a king size bed.
