Our Newly Updated Loggerhead Cay Condo with All New living room and All New Master bed room furniture. There is High Speed WiFi Internet in our unit. We have Great Views of the Gulf Beach and the heated Swimming Pool below.The Spacious Living RM has a 26 ft. Mirrored Wall providing excellent views from 60% of the condo Featuring a fully-equipped kitchen, Jacuzzi tub in the Master bath, Spacious living room, dining room, Screened patio and New Full size Front load washer/dyer.
The bedding is a King in the Master with a HDTV, 2 Twins in the Guest with TV/DVD and a Sleeping sofa in the living room. The Guest Bedroom has been completely remodeled. There is a New HD 32 in. TV with a DVD and VHS Player. New upgrades include new kitchen and Free for Guests 4 High Quality Bicycles. The adult bikes were New in 2014. The Unique features of our unit is the Glass Sliders on both the Inside and out side of the Lanai. You can have AC in the Lanai. The Living room East wall is completely mirrored. The mirrored walls provides added Brightness to the condo.
Sanibel Island is a Tropical Paradise with endless things to see and do for all ages. There is about 30 miles of Biking, Walking and in-line Skating trails. Enjoy the Lush foliage, Flowers, and Sandy Shell Strewn Beach. You can Walk to close by Shopping and Restaurants. There are 2 18 hole Public Golf courses on the island.
Our Unit at Loggerhead Cay is Professionally Managed and there is always someone available to meet your needs. The units are inspected annually to ensure that they are maintained and ensure our standards of cleanliness. Loggerhead Cay is about .3 miles from the Causeway to Fort Myers, providing easy access on and off the island. Recent Upgrades include New Living room Furniture and Blinds and the completely New Kitchen and the All new Guest Bedroom. We also now have a New Front Load Washer and Dryer in our unit. We have24 Excellent Quality bicycles. The adult bikes are New There are also 2 Tennis Rackets in our condo along with a lot of Beach items. Call owners for detailed information. All windows and outside sliders were replaced with New Impact Glass.

We really enjoyed our stay. Beach and pool access are great. Condo is fully equipped. Bed was comfortable. Restaurants are absolutely delish. Doc Fords Shrimp and Grits and Gramma Dots grouper were excellent. Overall a great stay!
Love Sanibel! Just here to enjoy the beaches and to help the restaurants, shops, and artists….which we did! Jim was amazing to work with as we had to deal with the recent hurricane(s) damage and check availability. I recommend Jim and his condo 100%.
I’ve stayed at numerous Vrbo properties and I must say this one is at the top of my list. Everything about the property to communication with Jim was perfect. The master bed was soo comfortable. Can’t wait to return

The apartment was nice but and the host was helpful. We were there for only a week but had a couple of issues. We wanted to get the bikes for a cycle but ended up renting bikes because it was more hassle to get the bike’s that were on the complex, somewhere. Also something to fix is the shower. It has a constant drip.
Third floor unit which offered nice views. Easy short walk to beach. Pool area spotless and enjoyable after day on beach. Lots of beach supplies available. Unit well supplied with necessities for week. Sanibel continues to recover from Hurricane Ian but enough restaurants were open that we were able to eat out each night. Felt good to support these individuals as they continue to make our getaways a fun experience.
The property was clean and comfortable with beautiful gulf views. Jim was a delightful host. I really appreciated the beach gear and bikes and the ability to use a code rather than having to keep up with keys. Will definitely choose Jim again!

We enjoyed our stay one of the few places fully open right now on Sanibel. Loved the ocean view and the comforts of the condo. Beach easily accessible and nice sized pool. Great host and communication. Thank you!
Our family had a wonderful time and were very pleased with this property. It overlooks the pool and has views of the Gulf from the room. The rooms are very spacious and well maintained, easy access to the beach and lots of great pool and beach accessories included with the condo. The owner was very attentive and ensured all our needs were met. We would certainly stay here again and highly recommend it.
The property was very nice. There were several beach items in unit and we used them several days. The beach was fabulous. Loggerhead Cay condo complex was still being worked on during our stay which we expected, but we were not interrupted by any of the work. The parking space numbers were not legible but Jim, the owner, told us that we could park at any open spaces during the construction period. The front door lock gave us a problem, but I called Jim and we figured it out over the phone. Jim was very helpful and called a couple times during the stay to make sure everything was ok. If I make another trip to Florida we will stay at this location again.
We had everything we needed in our condo for a great stay! A beautiful view from our lanai, beach chairs, umbrella and towels. Just a short walk to the beach. The bed was comfortable, the condo was clean.Jim was a great host, very easy to communicate with. We can’t wait to go back!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was lovely and Jim could not have been more helpful. We used the lanai/porch so much. It was accessible for my elderly parents with the elevator and nice paths on the property.
We were so glad to spend time on Sanibel after canceling our trip a year ago due to Ian. Currently, Dec '23, very few condos and rentals are available. Construction is underway, including this complex, and will be several years to complete. The noise and annoyance factors are offset by empty beaches. Great shelling with so few tourists.
JIm, the owner, was very responsive to any inquires we made and brought a new set of pots and pans on our request. This unit is in a great location on the lighthouse side of the island. I would definitely recommend this unit with the caveat that there will be construction noise starting right at 7 am and continuing until 5 to 7 pm.
Jim is incredibly friendly, prompt and helpful. Our family of four found the condo to be very clean, well stocked and generously spacious with a great variety of beach essentials. The beaches of the east end are beautiful, and we throroughly enjoyed our active stay. We will be returning soon. I'm glad to see how Sanibel is bouncing back.
We own a condo on the Island that is still under reconstruction after Ian. We were grateful to have a place to stay while we visited our property and relatives in the area. We were the first renters at this property following Ian. While there was still a lot of recovery going on, we had a great stay. Jim quickly addressed minor issues related to us being the first renters, had a backup plan if anything had not worked out...he could not have been a better host. Thanks Jim for getting everything ready for our visit! AND, for anyone concerned about the Island being ready for visitors, please do not hesitate. The recovery is going strong! Many restaurants are open, shops are starting to open and the Island is getting closer to "normal" everyday. It will never be the same place it was before Ian, but will always be Sanibel and beautiful! Come visit #sanibelstrong
We interacted with every variety of wildlife from the beach directly adjacent to the property. Dolphins, live shells etc. were accessible to the same degree as at any of the close by public beaches. It was so convenient to walk right to the gulf from the condo. We also enjoyed the restaurants that were close by.
property was great but the "No-see-um" bugs on beach in evening was big turn off. Forgot to take my bug repellant. The condo could use carpet replacement though. The owner of condo is awesome

The condo was bright, clean, and comfortable. The complex was beautiful , clean, and had great beach access. The owner had wonderful communication from booking throughout our stay. Would highly recommend!!

We are Jim and Jean Way from Chanhassen Minnesota. We own and operate a Rental Equipment and Special Events business. We are able to travel in the Winter months because our business slows down in the cold Minnesota Winters. We have a son and daughter that work with us in our business. We have 5 grand children.
Why they chose this property
We vacationed in Florida probably 10 years before we decided to look at buying vacation property. We choose Sanibel Island because it was our favorite vacation location. We purchase a Loggerhead Cay condo because it is a Great complex with a Great location. A beach condo complex and very close to the Sanibel Cause-way.
What makes this property unique
Our condo is a very bright condo with with about 60 feet of floor to ceiling mirrors. The condo has Spectacular views of the beach and green way. We very much like to walk the beach and view the Sun Sets in the evenings. We also enjoy the bike paths and we will normally bike to a restaurant a couple times a week.
