Memphis Modern

Modern and tastefully remodeled home includes all the high-end amenities, and an open floor plan joining the kitchen, living room, and dining area. Flat screen 4K TVs in every room, and high speed internet and Wi-Fi. Free reserved off-street parking behind the house and a large backyard. Just minutes from downtown. Absolutely no parties and no locals! Your reservation will be canceled.

Living room has a two story ceiling, 70" flat screen 4K TV, Apple TV, comfy full length couch, and plenty of additional comfortable seating. Kitchen includes quartz countertops, matching custom backsplash, stainless steel appliances, and is fully stocked to meet your needs. Coffee is also complementary!

First floor also includes full bathroom, laundry room, and bedroom with a queen-size bed with a comfortable Casper mattress, large closet, and 60" flat screen 4K TV.

Second floor has one bedroom with one queen-size bed with a comfortable Casper mattress, and a one full bath. Also upstairs is a loft area with two Twin XL beds that sleep one each (also comfortable Casper mattresses) and a futon that sleeps one more. Loft area looks down on the first floor living room and has access to a balcony overlooking the front yard and Second St.

Home includes a large backyard and two free reserved off-street parking spaces available for guests. Free on-street parking is also available for guests.

Location is tough to beat! Walking distance to the Renasant Convention Center, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and Bass Pro Pyramid. 5 minutes to Beale St., FedEx Forum, The Orpheum Theater, and the rest of downtown. Or catch a carriage ride as they pass right by your front door and enjoy your leisurely ride downtown. For safety and security, property includes two exterior cameras only. A doorbell camera that covers the front porch and a backdoor camera that covers the back porch.

Just book it!!
If you’re considering a trip to Memphis, just book this house! It was light, modern, clean, and comfortable. It was in a great neighborhood, literally two minutes from everything we wanted to do. We even strolled our two grandkids downtown for the marathon. Definitely will book again.

The house had plenty of room for 6 of us! Very clean and had everything we could want and need and then more! Easy check in and out process. We hope we can rent again when we return for St Jude Days of Remembrance next year!

Disappointing, not as expected
Based on all previous 10-star reviews, I had no worries about renting this property. Unfortunately the previous guests left it smelling like pot and air freshener. The owner was quick to communicate and refund part of our payment, especially after hearing about some other issues (missing TV remote, broken microwave, missing glassware). The bedding and couch need a good cleaning, and there are some things that would make the property more comfortable - better seating in the family room, a combo lock on the back door so you can enter the property from the driveway, replace burned out lightbulbs, dust baseboards, fresh coat of paint. I can only imagine how tough it is to be a vrbo owner of a property that guests decide to trash. And after our recent bad experiences, I think hotels may be a better option for staying in the Memphis area.

Great stay
The house was clean, beds are comfy, and it was conveniently located. The neighborhood was fine for Memphis, we felt safe at the house. We liked the loft as we used a mattress, & there was plenty of room for 2 air mattresses for older kids or adults needing their own. The couch/futon upstairs is small, so I would suggest an air mattress. The drive to Bass Pro was less than 5 minutes and same distance to the best BBQ, Rendezvous.

A mother-daughter paradise!
We loved it! As two women alone, we felt perfectly safe and secure in this very nice neighborhood. The interior was clean, quiet, attractive, and well organized, and both bedrooms were super quiet. Great AC! The exterior was also clean and attractive, with convenient parking behind the house. For us, it was the perfect 2-bed, 2-bath solution. For parties over two, there's plenty of additional space for some other guests. Thanks!!

Close to Beale Street
Location is just a short 5 minute drive to Beale Street, The Bass Pro Shop Pyramid and Mudd Island and it only took us around 20 minutes to reach Graceland. The private parking pad in back of house was a plus. The house was clean and nicely furnished. We enjoyed the little second story belcony. Great place to sit and have an evening drink or morning coffee. During our visit we did noticed a smoke smell upstairs despite the house being non-smoking. Overall I would recommend this property.

Comfortable and close to downtown
We were on a birthday trip for our daughters. Arriving close to the home, we were a little skeptical. Once we arrived and entered our feelings changed. The home has everything to rest comfortably. The beds were extremely comfortable. It was perfect for the four of us. The property is within walking distance of the Pyramid Bass Pro and downtown Memphis where there are many options for eating. I wouldn't recommend walking due to the (SADLY) homeless traffic and crime. We were approached more than once. The things we loved about this home was the convenience to things, the beds, and how cute it is. The only two things which come to mind as qualifying for a slight dislike were the upstairs bathroom does not have a towel holder close to the shower to hang for when you get out of it, and we didn't realize there was parking behind the house. (Thanks Memphis Police for the "welcome to Memphis" parking ticket.) The ticket was our fault due to being tired and not paying attention. But, I didn't know there was parking behind the home until we were in it and saw out the window. Over all, I feel the host thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. It was clean and welcoming.

The property and location were ideal. Just a bit away from downtown but if willing to walk, it is perfect. Dane was responsive and always there to answer any question I had. I cannot recommend this property any higher.

NCAA March Madness stay
My brothers and I stayed a long weekend at this house while March Madness was going on. Best thing about this place was it's location to downtown and Beale Street. An $8 uber there. Wonderful. It was clean. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were very nice. Felt welcoming. Recommend it. Two VERY small knocks on it. No cable tv. Had hard time getting the games on the tv. Darn, I guess we just went to a bar to watch. And it took a loooooooooong time for the hot water. Other than that thumbs up.

New Years 2024
Four adults stayed at this great location for New Years weekend. Location was fantastic-quick and easy access for everything in Memphis. House was as described. Futon in loft was more for a child than adult, and air mattress seemed to deflate overnite. Fortunately the sofa was a comfortable option. Would definitely stay here again!

Neighborhood is called Uptown and is simply charming with nice wide sidewalks and homes newly built around 2010. Walking distance to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Bass Pro Pyramid, and Memphis Renasant Convention Center. Also a five minute car ride to the downtown core (Beale St., FedEx Forum, AutoZone Park, Orpheum Theater, etc.).
