Relax and enjoy this lakefront, 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath real log cabin home located on pristine Beaver Lake, just 20 minutes from historic Eureka Springs. Edgewater Lodge sits just a stone’s throw from Beaver Lake’s crystal clear waters in a calm, no-wake cove. Bring your boat and/or jet ski, or rent one from nearby Starkey Marina. Paved roads provide easy access to the cabin, which sits waterfront, 200 feet down the hill from the road. Our all-concrete drive (while steep, but very navigable) offers ample door-side parking for multiple vehicles, and boat trailer parking is designated on the property (call or inquire for additional details).
This spacious log home boasts 3 levels providing room for your group to stretch out during your stay. Each level offers a large common seating area, complete with TVs, YouTube TV and DVD players for your enjoyment. Starlink high-speed WiFi/wireless internet is provided as well with unlimited usage. Enjoy the enormous deck or screened in porch -- drink coffee and watch the sun rise. Make s’mores with the kids in the evening and relax around the firepit on the large stone patio below the cabin. There is a fully stocked kitchen with all appliances to make wonderful meals for your friends and family.
The main level consists of the master bedroom with en suite bathroom and separate vanities, a half bathroom, washer and dryer with supplied laundry detergent, dining and living rooms, outside deck and fully stocked kitchen.
The kitchen offers all appliances (including 2 full-size fridge/freezers) and a variety of dishware, bakeware, and cooking utensils making it convenient to prepare meals for your large group. An eat-in bar and dining table, along with a small kids table, allow for the entire group to dine together.
The open living room features a stunning stone chimney with wood-burning stove and ample seating area. The outside deck is spacious and includes patio furniture, a shade umbrella, and a large gas grill for your use — we provide the propane.
The upper level has a large loft common area with queen sofa sleeper (sheets for this located in right bedroom closet) and loveseat, along with 2 bedrooms with queen size beds in each, and a full bathroom with tub and separate vanities.
The lower level includes the final common area with a large sectional sofa, screened-in porch with patio furniture, a full bathroom, and 4th bedroom with 2 twin over full bunk beds that sleeps 6.

Relax and recharge

This amazing property is the perfect location to get to Eureka Springs or any local sites, but beware, once you are here you won't want to leave! Comfortable living spaces for 8 adults inside and out. The dock and cove were pristine spots for fishing, swimming, and kayaking. The layout indoors offered a bedroom on the main floor so grandma did not need to do stairs, but the rest of us had no issues, outdoors there are railings and landings making all access easy to explore the property.Thank you for a wonderful stay!

A great Cabin

My wife and daughter stayed for a few days while we got away over spring break. The space was very nice and there was room for so many more folks if we had brought more family. The boat dock and fire pit were great places to relax and take in the outdoors. I imagine this place would be remarkable for folks looking to get on the lake with a large family. The hosts were very responsive when I had questions and were really committed to us having a great experience.

Mountain Getaway

We had a lovely winter getaway at the cabin which was very well equipped for a family stay. We really enjoyed the location and visiting local sights, especially taking walks in the morning to see the beautiful surroundings. The cabin has everything a family could need for a comfortable stay! Our hosts were responsive and easy to communicate with.

Amazing Waterfront Vacation Rental

I was very happy when I arrived at the home. It was just as advertised, and better. Open floor plan and plenty of places to sleep. The two decks and firepit were great places to chill. It was too cold to get into the lake, but it was gorgeous. If you have a problem with stairs, then the walk to the lake/firepit may be a little difficult. Overall great home and location, highly recommend!

2023 Spring Break

This property was equipped with everything we needed. It was well taken care of, clean, and comfortable. They property owner has put lots of thought into making sure you have everything you need for a great getaway. It’s perfect for 2 or 3 families to stay in together. Very spacious and cozy with spectacular views.

The house was extremely comfortable. The house temperature kept us cool in spite of the high temperatures. The kitchen was well equipped and fixing our meals was like fixing meals at home. We enjoyed the dock and it worked well coming in and going out on the pontoon. We enjoyed being so close to the marina. The four teenage cousins enjoyed the bunk beds on the lower level. Nice and private! We did use the pull out sofa a couple nights but we couldn’t find sheets so did have to make do with that. All in all, our stay was superior and we all would like to return in the future. Thank you!

Family trip planner

The cabin continually impressed us. Beautifully decorated and with top line decor. The only flaw was the driveway. With rain and leaves covering the drive it was beyond challenging. If I were the driver I would have never been able to negotiate the steep grade and extremely narrow circle. And the steep walk from the driveway to the cabin was precarious and slippery.

Fantastic find

We've been VRBO users for many years now, and have been fortunate to stay in some great places. This may well be the top of the list for us. This is a gorgeous home in a beautiful, peaceful setting, and there wasn't a single amenity lacking. We cooked a scaled-down Thanksgiving dinner and the kitchen had absolutely everything anyone could need. While it was too cool to enjoy the dock, I can imagine how wonderful it would be to have a summer get together here as well. Some reviews mention the driveway; don't be concerned - our daughter's honda civic managed it easily so I think anything can. I would recommend arriving before it gets dark for the first time you go there, and after that it's fine. Anyway, highly recommend this property.

The Best of Beaver Lake

Our family spent a week here. We had a wonderful time! The set up was ideal for us (five adults and three small children) there was plenty of good space! Look at the pictures - they clearly show what to expect. You will not be disappointed. The cabin is lovely, well stocked and comfortable. The deck was perfect for evening meals and morning coffee. The screened-in porch provided a cool respite during hot afternoons. We especially enjoyed the swim dock. Our grandchildren spent hours, feeding the fish, throwing rocks and jumping into the lake. We brought a small boat with us so having the boat dock was a real bonus. Christi and Kirk were great to work with; helpful and responsive. Without reservation we would rent this property again or to recommend it to a friend!

Once again - This home doesn't disappoint!

Last summer took our two teenagers with four extra teens and my in-laws. The house met our needs to perfection. This year I invited 10 girl friends for the weekend and once again, met our needs to perfection. We searched to offer some constructive suggestions to better the house, the only thing we could come up with were additional mirrors in the bedrooms. The more ladies who needed to get ready to spend some money downtown, well the additional mirrors would have been handy. If that's my only complaint, I'm sure I'll be renting that house again.

Need to know.

Need to know that there is no cell coverage in the house that is why a landline is provided. Also, Wifi is limited to 1GB/day with any add'l charged at $10/GB & streaming is not allowed. This info was given in the keys to the trip email 2 days prior to arrival even though the property description amenities essentials first 4 listings are Wireless internet/Wifi/Internet/Satellite Wifi Available. Last, the boat slips are not available for your use, one had the owner's boat & the other was raised & locked, even though the What's Provided states a large private boat dock w/swim platform (1 slip is available for your use).Messaged the host & communication was timely however the slip was still unavailable regardless of the reasons. Boats will be tied to dock uncovered. These things would have been fine if you knew in advance of booking & were able to plan accordingly. All that being said the roads to the house are lovely, we just put the boat in at the marina before driving down. The driveway is steep but navigable. The house is beautiful. It is set up well with room for everyone. The beds & bathrooms were nice. All the basics were there. It is secluded & sits near to the water. The decks are fantastic & the fire pit was fun. There are steps down but they were fine for everyone. The lake is absolutely beautiful & not busy at all. The drive to town was winding but not far so the location was convenient. Would recommend this property for anyone wanting to get away from it all.

Beware-do not bring your boat on a trailer here; house is not for little ones or older family

We were so excited about getting away from the stress of COVID and having a few days on the lake with the family. We were especially excited that the description of the property said we could bring our boat. We decided that we would head straight to the house, unload, then put our boat in the water. We got to the house and parked our boat and trailer in the trailer parking area, which was a nice plus, then unhooked the car so that we could drive down the very steep driveway which was about 200 yards down the hill. This would have been nice to know but it wasn’t a huge deal and we were so excited when we saw the lake behind the house. The outside of the house definitely needed some cleaning and had spiders and cobwebs all over but again, not a big deal and did not put a damper on a thing. However, when we opened the front door we were met with the very strong smell of raw sewage. The entire house smelled like a toilet. We called the property manager and they responded quickly and sent out a maintenance man who after some time was able to fix the smell. I guess their was an issue with the septic tank. Even this was not that big of a deal and we were still in great spirits UNTIL we hooked up the boat and trailer to drive to the boat ramp. We saw

Amazing experience

Christi is an amazing host. She was extremely accommodating. The house was perfect with good amenities. It was very convenient to Eureka Springs as well as getting on the lake. I would highly recommend this rental and will stay again here.

We have been coming to Beaver Lake for as long as I can remember. I have so many childhood memories of great family vacations at Beaver Lake. I want to create similar memories for my children. We have been renters in the past, but knew we wanted to own some day. We came across an opportunity to purchase this beautiful home and now we want to share it with you!

What makes this property unique

Edgewater Lodge's location on Beaver Lake is second to none! The shoreline sits just steps away from the cabin, nestled near the back of a wide, calm cove. This keeps any wind-driven waves or boat wash to a minimum, allowing for peaceful water activities of all kinds. This is a no-wake cove, so if you bring a boat, please adhere to this restriction to keep the neighbors happy. The lake location also allows for quick access to the dam, Starkey Marina, Rocky Branch Marina, Big Clifty recreation area, War Eagle Cavern, and many excellent coves for boating and fishing. A short 20 minute drive to historic Eureka Springs provides all of the dining, nightlife, and shopping that you may require!
