"The Garden Retreat" A piece of Paradise is located in Old Ocean Springs on a quite cul-de-sac street. It has mature trees & gardens in the front & backyard. An all weather back porch for relaxing over looking the serene scenery. The Back Yard is Privacy Fence which is great for children & your privacy. There is parking for 4 vehicles in front. A boat or car can be parked behind the privacy gate. The Master Bedroom Suite has a Queen Size bed; the Middle Bedroom has a Queen Bed & the third bedroom has a Queen Bed. It sleep 6 people in 3 bedrooms. All the furniture & Mattresses are new along with the TV & décor. Cable & Hi Speed Wi-Fi are provided. The Kitchen is fully equipped with complimentary coffee & tea. A Stainless Steel Grill is just outside under a Pergola. There is an outdoor patio with table & chairs for outdoor enjoyment.
You can walk down Government Street which has many small restaurants & shops. Nearby Washington Ave., downtown in Ocean Springs, is tree lined with old oak trees, shops, restaurants & the Walter Anderson Museum of Art. The house is approximately 1.5 miles from Front & East Beach in Ocean Springs. It's just a short drive across the Biloxi/Ocean Springs Bridge to Biloxi which has 6 Casinos & a 26 mile beach for fun & activities. Great property, everything as promised. Rose was an excellent hostess and super easy to communicate with. The house is great, loved the quiet of the area and the birdsong while having coffee on the porch.

Home away from home

You can walk downtown and earn your TatoNut. There are beach supplies which was nice to have as well. Very quiet street and very convenient. Definitely a great place to stay with your family.

Beautiful home

My brother and I came to Ocean Springs to visit our parents. Communication with host was quick, polite, and helpful. Rose was very sweet and a pleasure to talk to on the phone. The house was more than comfortable and perfect for our dog (All tile floors and fenced yard) Host even provides sheets and towels to use for pets specifically. The back yard was fenced in and BEAUTIFUL! Kitchen well stocked and easy to cook in. The house is very convenient to downtown and a great place to stay if that is where you want to spend time. They even offer a golf cart to rent, although we did not use this. We are already trying to book again here for later in the year. I recommend this place and will be happy to return when needed.

Even better than the photos!

We’ve stayed at various VRBOs in the US and Europe. This one was the very best for cleanliness and quality. Rose was super responsive and helpful. And Jessie (the dog) loved the back yard. Thank you Rose for keeping the property in such good shape.

Great location

The house was plenty big for the 3 of us and had all of the equipment we needed. The washer and dryer were really nice to have. Ocean Springs is such a nice town. I recommend renting the golf cart. It's such a great way to get around downtown and to the beach.

Great weekend getaway

Had a wonderful time visiting Ocean Springs and staying at The Garden Retreat. The home was roomy and comfortable. We spent a lot of time in the lovely back yard with our fur baby. It was a short walk to the downtown area where we walked around at the Peter Anderson Festival and shopped in the many stores. We highly recommend staying at The Garden Retreat. Golf getaway

We had a wonderful time in Ocean Springs in spite of the weather. Rose recommended places to eat and things to see and do, she was spot on! What a lovely and convenient place to stay, so comfortable and everything you could need. Rose is the best host!!

Wonderful!

This house is great for relaxing, enjoying the beach or exploring all the shops of downtown. The location could not be better and my dogs enjoyed the fenced yard. Definitely want to return!

Clean, comfortable and convenient. Stayed a month and had all we needed for that long stay. Doggie made good use of nicely fenced back yard. As a 2 generation group, we were able to quickly get to all the attractions we wanted to visit.

Great Gathering Place

Perfect Retreat Space

Rose and Valerie were great hosts from the moment we arrived. Property was exactly as listed-very clean and well furnished. Garden space was perfect for our pets to have room to sniff and stretch their legs a bit as well as a relaxing spot for their humans! Quiet neighborhood, suited for morning walks. OS didn’t disappoint. Really enjoyed our long Easter weekend.

Worthwhile Garden Get Away

We really enjoyed our time at "The Garden Retreat." It is centrally located to downtown Ocean Springs. We walked to a couple of local spots from it. The house was roomy and it was nice to spread out. Our host Rose was great and getting in to the place was super simple. We would stay there again.

We chose this property for the location in old Ocean Springs which is in walking distance to restaurants, shopping, & museums downtown. Also, the outside serene beauty of the privacy backyard was a high point of why we liked this home for guests to visit. The backyard has gardens & mature trees indiginous to this area which adds a nice interest to your stay. There is an arbor attached to the house for outdoor cooking on a Gas BBQue with A Stove Plate Burner for frying or, boiling seafood. Also there is a place to clean fish in the backyard.
