waterfront serenity

Roomy and well appointed home right on the water. Close to town and great restaurants. The outdoor fire pit was popular. Owner/manager was close by and responsive/welcoming.

Maine Girls Trip

The house was beautiful, comfortable and clean. It was close to cute shops and great restaurants with quintessential Maine scenery all around us. The only thing I’d mention is that the house sits verrrry close to a road and a parking lot on one side and we did hear trucks early in the morning as well as fishing boats as they left the harbor to head out for the day. It certainly didn’t detract from the beauty of the home, and we would absolutely stay there again!

Beautiful home and amazing service

This home is extremely beautiful and clean. The location could not be better. To top it off, Jamie from the management team was there when we arrived and even helped me carry luggage in for my family. I couldn't speak highly enough of Jamie and the property. We will be back! Adorable spot!

Beautiful home and views. The firepit out back was wonderful for relaxing evenings outside. The shrubs and tree are not cut down like you see in the photos though so if you're sitting, you cannot see the water. A few items were missing/empty but Jamie got them to us right away! There is some cute shopping and a coffee shop right across the street otherwise the main shopping/restaurants are about a mile down the road. Acute spot for our short family vacation!

Our Family Reunion Stay

Our reunion was 15 years in the making. So, this was an important vacation for us. The house is just as portrayed online. Very nice, comfortable beds, clean and kitchen is fairly well equipped. For people traveling with children - do note that there are no games, puzzles and only one sand bucket! We left one of the games we bought there for the next family. ;-) The property manager is very responsive. We would stay here again - just come with more toys!

3 day seaside stay

We had a lovely stay in this spacious seaside home that was true to it's listing. We enjoyed amazing views, well equipped kitchen with quality appliances, plentiful kitchenware, and wonderful outdoor spaces (outdoor grill, fire pit and accessible beach). Close proximity to shops was nice as well. Check In was seamless and host responded in a timely fashion to any inquiries. Tight parking would benefit from a closer trim on shrubbery/trees. Overall I give this house a true 5 out of 5 rating.

Sensational 60’s! 🎉

This was a getaway for a small group of women who’ve been friends for 45+ (some even longer 😁) years. Every 10 years we’ve gone away together to celebrate a milestone birthday. Ocean Pointe was just the quiet luxury we were looking for in a destination. The home was beautifully appointed and in close proximity to town, beaches and restaurants. It was a lovely spot to relax and catch up over a glass of wine, read books and share memories whilst making new ones. The only challenge was parking, difficult for the 4 cars we had. The manager was prompt in supplying a few missing amenities. Overall a lovely spot that we’d love to revisit in future.

Stunning views and Well appointed

We had a wonderful stay at this property (6 adults, 6 kids ages 5-9). With our crowd it was great to have 2 hang out areas; although we basically didn’t use the second small kitchen it was nice to have 2nd fridge. House is VERY well appointed- lots of towels (for bath and beach), “starter” items included paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dishwasher and washing machine pods, soaps, shampoo and conditioner. All of that was greatly appreciated coming from out of town. Heads up there are no puzzles or games provided or beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach toys (obviously fine just pack accordingly!). There weren’t really any dressers or nightstands with drawers so it was a little annoying to mostly live out of your suitcase the entire time (master has a closet with shelves and bunk room has a dresser). You could walk to a couple shops right nearby and 1-2 miles into downtown Kennebunkport (too far for our littles but a quick drive). Bushes/greenery between lawn and beach is much higher than in pictures but view is great from up at the house or 2nd floor deck. Waterfront in front of the house is gorgeous- “beach” is an all rock beach and not really good for swimming bc it’s more of a channel for boats. Good place to try to fish. Not far from great beaches- Gooch’s, Goose Rocks or Fortunes Rock (our favorite!). Go early to them for parking and pay at meter for “pass”. House has room for 3 parking but it is REALLY tight (we had 3 SUVs and had to do some juggling)

Great Maine Get Away

Great property. Lots of room and within walking distance of a nice restaurant. Very close to downtown, but without the traffic. Jamie was very responsive if we had questions. House was neat and clean with an amazing kitchen. We enjoyed the living room fireplace and enclosed porch on those cool May mornings.

Beautiful home on the tidal river with sunset ocean views

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. It was beautiful and well-appointed, and communication with the property manager was easy. The views of the water were absolutely gorgeous, and it was a cozy place (loved the gas fire and outdoor fire pit) for a quiet February stay. We particularly loved the shelves full of old books, and read a few during our trip. Things to know: - Kennebunkport is very quiet in the off season. This didn’t bother us, but if you want lots of shopping, you may want to go during the warmer months. The important things (cafes, small grocery, the shop for fresh steamed lobster just across the street) were open. -Showers only- no bathtubs. Wasn’t an issue for us, but it could be hard for those with small children.

Family Vacation

Well kept home in a beautiful location, plenty of room for 7 adults and 3 children. Screened porch and outdoor fire and sitting area great place for family to gather after enjoying the town and beaches. One mile walk to town, steps to Colony Beach, plus small beach and marina! Beautiful Property!

Marvelous Maine

The house was wonderful for two families with younger kids. The separate floors set up well so that each family had their own space. The back yard and access to the inlet provided hours of entertainment for parents and children alike. The house is close to lots of beautiful views but beware that there is a hotel directly next to the house. The night we arrived there was an outdoor wedding reception with a band - fortunately they wrapped up by 10p. Overall, we had a wonderful time and the house was spacious with lovely views.

Family get away

Lovely home for a large family. We had 11 people with Age range from 2 to 83. The online description was right on. The kids room had a bunk, trundle and a twin. The other 4 rooms had king and queen beds. Lots of entertaining space beautiful kitchen downstairs with an accordion window that opened to the backyard- awesome!!! and another small kitchen upstairs with a deck. Outdoor space was beautiful, including a fire pit, house is right on the river with views of the ocean. Easy .2 mile walk to kid friendly beach, and mile walk to town. We all had a fabulous time. Jamie, the property manager was great, met us when we got settled in to go over all the amenities- which included a gas fireplace and a Sonos stereo system. Things to know-no outdoor shower- which would have been helpful with the kids- but there was a hose, house is right next to a parking lot and a hotel, and there was a wedding going on the Saturday night we arrived- didn’t bother us too much- we enjoyed the free band while sitting by the fire pit! Parking is tight for 3 cars, but we managed, and you do need to bring your own beach chairs for the beach. Overall, a 5. I would definitely go back!

Amazing property

Everything about our stay in Kennebunkport was fantastic. The house was perfection, exactly as pictured from the inside but the back was even more beautiful than the pictures due to the time of year, greenery and flowers. This was a family trip, 4 couples and 3 kids ages 4, 2, and 11 months. We had plenty of space for everyone. Jaime was very helpful and set up a tee time for 4 of us to golf at cape arundel golf club which was also lovely. Kids had a blast in the backyard throwing rocks into the water, playing in the sand and roasting marshmallows in the evening. Beach was a 5 minute walk away. Downtown was about a 15 minute walk. We didn’t want to leave. The only bummer was the for sale sign that we saw, fingers crossed that the eventual new owner keeps this amazing property as a vacation rental because we will definitely be back. Thank you for an amazing stay.

From the minute I found the house on Vrbo, my experience was nothing short of amazing! Unlike many properties you find online, this house was exactly like the pictures, not one single disappointing thing about this property! From the first moments booking the property, Jamie was unbelievably warming, welcoming, attentive & hospitable to every one of my questions & needs & went above and beyond to make sure we were all enjoying our stay. 10/10 will be booking again for all future getaways to Maine!
