How amazing was our time! Our favorite was the hot tub! It was a wonderful time getting away with my hubby for his birthday. The views were gorgeous and was beautiful to see a little glimpse of the mountains.
Loved that it was peaceful and cute :-) the best part was the bed was comfortable and slept good! The first vacation that the bed was supporting! Loved that the hot tub was clean just wish we’d had more time to enjoy but a busy weekend with cheer competition. Will look into renting again if in area
wonderful little cabin to have on our honeymoon! Pam was a great host and we had no problems whatsoever. She was expedient in responding to questions and a real joy to talk to. We would definitely stay with her as host again!
We really enjoyed staying here. Everything was clean, and had plenty of cook ware stocked in the cabinets. It wasn’t as private as the listing suggested, but private enough that it wasn’t an issue.
Cabin was very nice, well maintained and relatively secluded. Owner was very communicative. We really enjoyed the hot tub. Cabin is also very close to the city, only a 10-15m drive to the grocery store and lots of restaurants. We will be back!
Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
We loved the cabin. The peace and quiet was exactly what we were looking for. And we LOVED Max! We will definitely be back!!! And absolutely recommend!!
First off pictures don’t do it justice. Well well maintained and you can tell it’s something they are proud of by the way the upkeep is on the house and property itself. Secondly we were met by a guy who runs the place who pointed us in the right direction to our cabin. Such a beautiful location and you can tell they want to be happy and enjoy your visit. We will definitely be coming back. Jew up the good work!!
We loved the cabin. The cleanliness was great and for my wife to say this is a major, major accomplishment. It's close to all of the attractions. The owner brought us cookies. The only tiny detail O would point out is that the bedroom fan blades and the towel shelf in the bathroom need dusting. I only say this because my wife has severe allergies to dust.
My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay here. It was cozy and perfect for our long weekend. The host was very communicative and willing to assist with anything. Looking forward to booking again
Great secluded location, easy to find with directions sent by the host at least a week ahead of time! Easy access to SMNP, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg. Loved the cabin, was perfect for a couple or small family. Plenty of utensils and space for meals at the cabin, great outdoor grill and space!
We loved our stay at the cabin. Very clean and homey cabin. Location is close to town, while having the feel of being miles away. Pam is an amazing host and made us feel like welcomed guests. We would live to stay again during our next trip.
We stayed for 12nights in this wonderful cabin felt like home away from home. Pam was a wonderful lady to rent from. Very friendly and if we needed anything she was right there. Camt wait to visit again!
my husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon & it was nothing short of excellent. Pam was super responsive, helpful, and kind. The cabin is so cute & just what we needed for our honeymoon! It is secluded enough but also close to all activities! We will definitely be back in the future!
We spent 5 days at the cabin. The driveway was fun! It has its own stoplight (one lane, steep hill, blind corner) we arived and the place was exactly as expected. VERY private! It was perfect for what we were looking for. The hot tub was clean!
The cabin was like a little home away from home! It was very clean and our hosts were great! Would definately stay here again.

The Yorks are from Russell Springs, KY and have visited the Great Smoky Mountains area for 30 years. We love the serenity and natural beauty of this area and look forward to spending more time there.
Why they chose this property
In fact, we decided that we love it so much we bought 10 acres of property and had "Hanging in There" cabin custom built in 2015 and just recently finished New Beginnings in 2018. We are really excited to own this property and are excited to share it with other couples. We know that you will love the location and will enjoy your stay! Our cabins are conveniently located to town and the newly built Soaky Mountain Waterpark.
What makes this property unique
This cabin is sitting on 10 acres of mostly wooded property. It has front and back porches with a section of the back porch being screened in. You walk right from the kitchen into the screen porch where you can sit and relax. It is common to see wildlife in the yard. The cabin is built handicapped accessible with a non ADA ramp and railing leading to the front door, wide doors and openings, lever knobs, handicapped commode, etc. There aren't many in the area built and furnished like this one. We pride ourselves in having immaculate craftsmanship and cleanliness that will pass the white glove test. All locks, door handles, countertops, etc. are sanitized after each stay as well as new water in the hot tub.
