Very clean and great communication with the property manager! The house had everything we needed plus more! We always look forward to our yearly stay in Pburg!
Place was nice and cozy. Beds were smaller that what we were used to and im not a fan of flannel sheets but otherwise a great place to stay! Just bringing my own sheets next time.
We come to this area 2-3 times a year to visit family. When possible we stay here. Owners are very attentive and this house has everything we need. The dogs love the yard and we love sitting out there with them. I highly recommend.
We had a lovely stay in Philipsburg. The cottage was just right for a group of friends near the downtown area. The cottage was clean and well stocked, anything we needed was there. We loved the town and the people, helpful and friendly. If we ever get a chance to visit the area again, this little cottage will be the first place we will look for in accommodations.
Great location and great hosts. Home was perfect for our family visiting while my husband was working locally. Philipsburg is a lovely town. Great fishing, hikes, etc. Host reached out before check in to ensure all was ok. Would definitely stay again when I’m in the area.

Property was centrally located to the rivers and lakes we were fishing. Close to town when we wanted to resupply. House had everything we needed including a mud room for our wet fishing gear.
Clean, quiet home that well suited our needs. Cool western town to visit and close to great trout streams…..

About the host
Hosted by Rob and Diane Chandler
We first visited Philipsburg over 21 years ago and knew then that we had to share the experience with others. We now live in Seattle but having both grown up in small towns we fell in love with the charm and friendliness of Philipsburg. We are always amazed by the community of people, their love for their town and their hospitality. We love what the Flint Creek Valley offers from Sapphire Mining to enjoying a craft beer at the Philipsburg Brewery. Taking a short drive out to Rock Creek for a day of World Class fly fishing is one of our favorite activities.
Why they chose this property
Whether we head to the Discovery Ski Area in the winter or spend hours fishing Rock Creek, Georgetown lake or small streams, boating, swimming and exploring in the summer we love it all, including the candy store! There is so much to see and do in the area within walking distance. P-Burg is a great home base for farther travel as well. We are just three hours to Yellowstone to the south and two and a half hours north to Glacier Park with lots of Ghost Towns in between.
What makes this property unique
Our home sits on a fenced corner lot and is walking distance to downtown shops. Enjoy the back patio for breakfast lunch and dinner. A great setting to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an evening dinner. You can hear Douglas Creek in the distance as it trickles by the Cottage. The house has an open floor plan and great for family gatherings.
