The living area and the main bedroom were huge. Plenty of space to keep our gear out of the way.
Off street parking for our Jeep, trailer and dirt bikes. Closed off (but not fenced) yard for our dog.
We have stayed in many, many rentals in Lake City over the past 25 years and this cabin was one of the best values. We rented from this property manager last year and I already have another one of their properties picked out for next year.
This house is on a quiet street with deer eating in the front yard and rabbits playing in the backyard. It worked perfectly for my family as we traveled around the area.
This property was in the perfect location for walking to my daughter's house. It slept our family well and did exactly what we needed it to do. Heat was off when we arrived and house was very cold, but the house heated up quickly once we turned the heat on.
We were looking for a place to serve as home base while in town trail running and racing. The house more than served its purpose, was clean and comfortable. I needed to do some remote work while I was there and the wifi was excellent. The town is filled with amazingly sweet, nice people. Overall, good solid rental unit and time in Lake City. Some minor nitpicks were the neighbors aggressive, barking dogs almost every time we left/entered the house, cookware is a bit of a hodge podge mix, and front door look can be hard to open. Otherwise, solid place!

loved the house, property was more than adequate and the price was a bargain. all the necessary amenities were in place except for a micro planer. the neighbors have three barking dogs so be prepared. the check in and vrbo hand off to the local property manager are about the same as other places i have rented. It has surprises and is a less than wonderful experience. Why do we pay a cleaning fee and then get a list of things to clean before we leave? Why is there a management fee added on? just quote the rate and divide it up however you want. or let me know what the fees are up front. Also, doing business by email and text is an annoying process for old people like me. at least one phone call would be greatly appreciated. thanks for the soapbox, shoup
The place was just perfect. We were there for my son's wedding and the accommodations were just great. We had a wonderful time, and all of us were very comfortable
We enjoyed our time in Lake City! It was very hot during our stay in early September and the home does not have A/C. That's not uncommon in the area, but it made for uncomfortable sleeping. Also, we felt to insecure to leave windows open at night except for the bedroom window. I was concerned someone could enter through a window without waking me.
The trash must be removed and taken into town and placed in a dumpster behind the property manager's office. That wasn't a big deal since I had an off road vehicle available.
Right in the heart of Lake City. We found this home to be exactly as advertised, very clean and well appointed. Our interaction with the management team was very good.
We enjoyed our stay. The property is close to town and all the neighbors were friendly. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware, good knives and storage containers. All a definite plus, since we cook a lot of our meals. The place was clean and quaint.
The house was just right for 4 adults. I’m not sure if I would want any more than 4 people. The amenities were good and location is good, although it wouldn’t be very easy to walk to town with a narrow bridge on the highway to cross. We went for OHV weekend and had easy access to all the trails. Next door neighbor has dogs that bark a lot. Overall a good deal and we enjoyed our weekend.
