Full kitchen with all amenities that you will need. The house has a private dock for boats, water crafts, swimming as well as a fire pit on the water. Canoe and paddle boat on site for renters to use. You will have the best of both worlds!!

The house is 1 mile from downtown Errol for any of your needs. Balsams Wilderness Resort, skiing, snowboarding & golfing (10 miles) Dixville Notch State Park, Androscoggin River, Lake Umbagog, Grafton State Park, Sunday River (30 miles) Bethel, Maine.

Beautiful Location

Rob was so easy to communicate with. The home was clean and had everything we needed and more for a great trip. The location on Akers Pond is absolutely beautiful!

Snowmobiling in Errol

Conveniently located. Walkway was icy but sand was available for use. Home was warm and had all the conveniences needed to make our stay a happy one. Thank you. We'll be back in the area soon!

Great family getaway

The house was perfect and very clean. Parking was a little tight, but we had four trucks and two trailers. Trails could be accessed from the house and there was a lot of snow for riding. Great time with the family!

On golden pond

The house was well appointed and super clean which is extremely important to us! It was fall so we did fires and took the canoe out to see the wild life! Eagles and a pair of loons. M Loved the place and would love to come back!

Worth every penny!

This was a beautiful home on Akers pond. It was clean well-equipped and had an amazing view. The host was very easy to contact and always responded quickly to any questions I may have had. My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay here even though it was overcast and rained most of the time. The house and the surrounding area and ponds made the stay so enjoyable. I would recommend this house to anyone who wants a nice quiet getaway with a beautiful views.

We had a great week at Akers Pond. The house is gorgeous and so comfortable. We caught fish and saw a moose. The drive to Dixville Notch is amazing.

Snowmobile trip.

Family Snowmobiling

We stayed at this home for a family snowmobiling trip. It was a great home, well equipped, and access to the trails right on the lake. Beds were very comfy. Would definitely recommend this home. The homeowner also provided quick responses to questions.

Snowmobile trip

Great trip with friends and family for a snowmobile weekend. The house was perfect to accommodate us and provided a great view of the lake and easy access to snowmobile trials. Definitely plan on staying here again!

Absolutely lovely place. Steps from the lake with privacy. Inside was very clean and updated. Spacious bedrooms and open living room/dinning room that walks out to a large deck. Minutes away from moose viewing and hiking. Will stay again.

More than we expected!!

The proper description and pictures are accurate, but once you are there and are able to appreciate the feeling of the home and the lake do you get the true experience!! Wonderful! Fun with the paddle boat and the canoe, enjoyed the fire pit and the foliage. Saw eagles and loon on the lake. We were fortunate to have front row seats watching a full moon rise across the lake! Lovely! Robert was extremely attentive, responsive and helpful when I had questions. Thank you!!!!!

Akers pond

House was clean, easy check in process. Host was very responsive. Pond was awesome, great paddling and swimming from the dock. For informational purposes, the house sleeps eight though there was only seating for 6 at the table as well as for lounging to watch movies.

Beautiful

Our stay on Akers Pond was wonderful. The house was clean and had everything you need. Our kids loved swimming and jumping off the dock. The area is beautiful with lots of places to hike or sight seeing. We even saw 5 moose! Would definitely stay here again.

Great location

This is a great spot to relax. The pond is clean and quiet. The property is as described and sits near the neighbors but you have a buffer of trees between, unlike most places on the water.

Placid pond, peaceful stay

Errol house is exactly as described and super peaceful. We loved being able to paddle and canoe on the water and just sitting out on the balcony was lovely. Do plan all your meals and shop accordingly; there’s little around for miles. I wish there was an accessible trailhead nearby that we don’t need to drive to. We chose the location due to proximity for whitewater rafting. The rafting was great fun but it is a super super short run. We are thankful our operators were also having such a good time with us that they doubled the amount of runs than they planned with us. If actual destination is an issue for doing activities is the goal, consider that there isn’t much to do in the area. If unwinding and chilling at a spot is your goal, this is a perfect place. Bring books, wine and your favorite companions! *do note, one full size bathroom only, on the first floor. Can sleep up to size, but might be awkward for 2 couples to share vs. a family of 5.

Beautiful & Very Relaxing Lake Front Property

Stayed here for a long weekend with my husband and 2 young kids (ages 4-5). We had such an amazing time. Stunning lake/sunset views. We loved being able to use the paddle boat and spent most of our time swimming off the dock. The house was fantastic. Owner was very communicative ahead of check in. We didn't need anything during our stay but he was available if any questions. Comfortable beds, very clean, air conditioning in every bedroom, plus everything you could possibly need was available for use in the kitchen. We had a great time and hope to return again next year. Highly recommend! Very relaxing.

Perfect Spot!

What a beautiful spot with an amazingly comfortable house! We had the best experience and it was right near downtown Errol which was super convenient. The property was clean and comfortable and we loved our stay there. Cannot wait to book some time during the summer the next time they have openings!

Beautiful cabin!

My family and I stayed for a long weekend at this cabin and it was perfect! It was so clean and had everything essential you may need during your stay. The beds were comfy and the view of the lake was breathtaking. If you’re planning on going to NH for leaf peeping I highly recommend this cabin as the lake it’s on as well as the surrounding areas offer abundant views and picture opportunities. I highly recommend this location and hope to come back in the future.

Amazing vacation!

We cancelled our original rental and booked this one due to our dogs medical issues. We needed a property she could easily navigate. We couldn’t be happier! The house was gorgeous, spotless, well stocked and perfectly setup for us and our teenagers. We stayed with the dog in the bedroom downstairs while the teens stayed upstairs. My 16 year old daughter enjoyed the gorgeous sunrises from her bed and private deck upstairs every morning. The pond provided clean, weed free swimming. The neighbors are nicely separated by trees but close enough to be friendly is you choose. The owner was responsive and kind and the whole process was very easy! If you are new to the area like us, here are some good tips to know: - The sunrises on the pond are absolutely stunning! - Kayak or canoe the pond!! The far end of the pond is like a whole different world! Very wilderness like with stunning views. - Hike Table Rock. It’s a steep climb but the views overlooking the Balsams are breathtaking! *its very slippery after a storm so go on a dry day. Great trail to use your hiking sticks. - The Magalloway River trail is short and flat so great for little ones, strollers and wagons but being bug spray! - Get some fresh bison from the bison & elk farm down the street. It’s delicious! - White water rafting at Northern Outfitters was so fun for beginners. - There is an IGA in Colebrook (25 min or so from the house). Much closer than Gorham but a little more expensive. - Go to Mostly Muffins on rt 26 in Colebrook! By far the BEST egg sandwiches, muffins and smoothies we have ever had! - There are several farm stands with fresh produce along 26 towards colebrook. - Be careful of moose on all the roads in the area. We saw 3 on 26 north towards Grafton state park and another right on 26 coming back from colebrook at 930am - Just drive and explore the area. It’s so gorgeous with the most interesting cloud formations! - The floors are a bit slippery. If you are like us with a dog who struggles with her legs or someone prone to falling easily, you may want to bring a few rug runners for downstairs. We brought 3 and it was fine. It was my family’s absolute favorite vacation. I’ve never seen them all so relaxed! Thank you Robert for sharing your home with our family and especially for being dog friendly.
