Major surfaces are sanitized and disinfected.  Major surfaces include countertops, kitchen and laundry appliances, table surfaces, bath fixtures, faucets, mirrors, door knobs, light switches, interior railings, remote controls, fireplace tools, etc.

Carpets and floors are vacuumed.  Hardwood and tile floors are mopped with appropriate cleaners.

Kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms are refreshed with clean linens.


2000 Sq ft. duplex, (first and second floors), three bedrooms, two full baths, laundry room, fireplace, hardwood floors, full kitchen w/granite counter tops and adjacent dining area, dishwasher, central air & heat, cozy rear courtyard w/patio and garden.

Located in one of the most desired neighborhoods in Chicago. Close to North Ave Beach, Lincoln Park (includes the Zoo, Conservatory and Caldwell Lily Pond), Museums, etc.

You will love my place because of the neighborhood, the comfy beds, the full kitchen, etc. My place is good for business travelers, families or solo adventurers and can accommodate up to six guests. Stroll the quiet, safe neighborhood and admire the stately homes in a historic setting.

Great Location

My friends and I had a great weekend in Chicago. This property has a great location with convenient access to all sort of entertainment and dining. Property was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again under the same circumstance. Thank you for your hospitality!

Clean and Cozy Home with Attentive Hosts

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a clean and well-maintained home located in a lovely neighborhood. The house matched its description perfectly and included some thoughtful toiletries for convenience. A gentle reminder to bring essential items, as a few toiletries were either expired (e.g., aspirin) or close to empty (e.g., body wash/soap pump). The hosts, who live next door, were friendly and attentive, checking in daily to ensure our comfort—sometimes even moments after arriving home. Overall, a comfortable stay.

Great Property with Lots of Space

Visited Chicago to spend time with our boys who live there. The property is located close to the lake, restaurants and a shopping area. The unit had everything we needed in the kitchen and else where. The owners were kind enough to welcome us and see if we needed anything. We also appreciated that we could bring our dog.

Spacious and well furnished, with many hospitable touches. Very residential area, with a few good restaurants a walkable distance away. Convenient on-street parking. Note: there is a narrow circular staircase between floors that could be difficult for some people.

Great location, ample space!

Great spot to stay near Old Town! Walkability and access to bus and El was excellent. Worth noting that the owner lives in the unit above the rental and was a little too communicative (including coming into the unit itself). While they were very friendly, I would have preferred to know this in advance (as I put a high value on privacy). On the other hand, if anything had gone wrong, I am sure it would've been fixed quickly. Finally, the mattress on the main level was thin memory foam so you could feel the bed frame underneath. This wasn't a big deal, but something I'd want to see in a review.Overall, I would absolutely stay here again for the ample space and prime location! If you're visiting Chicago, Old Town is a great neighborhood.

Amazing Stay

The place was perfect. Even better than described. Every detail was just what you want in a rental. The place is clean, and very comfortable,with large rooms and a very beautiful outside area in the back. So sorry we couldn’t enjoy it due to the Chicago weather this week, but we will return when we can take advantage of it. I think the best review I could leave is to say we will be back. There are thousands of places to stay in Chicago and this will be our choice whenever we return. Aside from the house, the location could not be better. Walking distance to the Zoo and Lincoln Park, yet only a 3.9 mile Uber ride to the United Center. I almost hesitate to give such a great review as it may be booked next time we need it 😀, but the hosts deserve all the credit and thanks for providing such a great rental.

Great location in Chicago

We had a great stay here. The apartment is on 2 floors with a spiral staircase. The had parking (street parking w a permit Sonia/Bob provided us with), washer/dryer, and enough space. We had a heating issue the first night we were there and it was resolved shortly after we brought it to their attention. We would stay here again. Thank you

Chicago Stay

Overall, the stay was very good, with a convenient location, plenty of room in the property and outdoor space. The only disappointment was the outdoor furniture being pretty worn out, with seats that were breaking due to age and sitting outside, and dirty chair pads, and the back storm door came apart when We used. The door. The owner wanted us to pay for partial replacement. We disagreed, due to rotting wooden frame on the door.

New view of Chicago

We decided to expose our children to something in Chicago other than Michigan Avenue. The neighborhood did not disappoint. We enjoyed the quieter, slower pace of a local neighborhood, enjoyed walking around and seeing the different architecture, dining at some of the local places and even got to stop in the farmer's market in Lincoln Park on Saturday morning. We look forward to going back when we have more time to support local shops. Thank you for sharing your home with us! It was perfect for our weekend away.

Wedding weekend

Our son was married at Cafe Brauer in Lincoln Park. This was an awesome property to stay in for convenience and cleanliness! Our daughter, husband and son were able to stay on the lower level and my husband and myself on the upper level. So happy with the experience and would highly recommend

Great location and hosts

If I could give this 4.5 stars I would. The location is fantastic, close to the beach and Lincoln Park and the neighborhood in general is awesome. The hosts were responsive and allowed us to drop our bags off when we arrived early which was very helpful. The unit itself is spacious and has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which is great. The only downside was the general condition of the interior of the property including the furniture. I obviously don’t expect fine finishings and expensive new furniture but a lot of the cupboard doors for example need some attention and the rooms in general are quite dated and need some attention. The sofa and the upstairs bed are not very comfortable and could do with replacing. However, overall it is a great spot and I would recommend.

Came to Chicago for my sister's 50th. The neighborhood was lovely and conveniently located to downtown. The host was responsive, though we didn't need much. All accommodations were met and then some. Would love to stay again.

Ideal Old Town Location with Exceptional Host

My recent experience renting this property was truly outstanding and made for an ideal vacation home for me, my wife, and daughter. Bob, the property host, was incredibly accommodating, helpful, and responsive—by far the best host I've encountered in my many years of using VRBO. Moreover, Bob is a genuinely great person who is both friendly and attentive. The location of the property was perfect, nestled in a beautiful and safe neighborhood. This area of Old Town has a true charm, and the area residents consist of young families and working professionals. What’s more, parking was particularly convenient with ample availability; we never had trouble finding a spot within a block of the house. The property was immaculate, showcasing Bob's commitment to cleanliness and attention to detail. He thoughtfully stocked the kitchen and other areas of the house with ample provisions, and the home was beautifully furnished, providing a comfortable and elegant environment. I highly recommend this rental property. The experience with Bob exceeded all my expectations, and I will definitely look to stay here again on future visits to Chicago.

Quiet Lincoln Park Condo

The condo was very clean, and the manager was Quite accommodating and friendly. He checked-in with me to make sure everything was going well. I appreciated the space, and the backyard/patio is beautiful. There is a spiral Staircase between the two floors that might be difficult for small children or the elderly, but was fine for my family. The neighborhood and bedrooms are quiet.
