About this property

The perfect mountain retreat equipped with 4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, a waterfall, fire pit, hot tub, and long range mountain views! Located in "The Land of Waterfalls" and only minutes from the French Broad River, Gorges, Dupont, and the new Headwaters State Parks for all of your outdoor activities. The adorable city of Brevard is only 12 miles away and if you want to visit Asheville or The Biltmore Estate they're less than an hour away (45 miles).

This home has floor to ceiling mountain views and a huge multi-level deck to fully enjoy the outdoors. We have ample seating areas on the upper deck to sit, relax, take in the mountain air, and enjoy the views. A gas grill is available for cooking out. The back deck faces SW, so there are beautiful sunset views in the evening. The lower deck is equipped with a hot tub to enjoy. From the lower deck, you can walk down one of two paths. The path along the side of the property takes you to the waterfall with a seating area at the bottom and the one in the middle of the property will take you down to the fire pit.

There are 4 bedrooms, each with their own en suite bathroom plus a half bath on the main level. The master bedroom is on the main level and has a queen size bed with deck access, mountain views, and a huge master bathroom. One bedroom w/ bathroom is upstairs and two more bedrooms and bathrooms are downstairs. My husband and I love to cook, so our kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need including crock pot, blender, waffle maker, hand and emulsion mixers, dutch ovens, stock pot, toaster oven, spices, baking dishes, and much more. We have a coffee maker, french press, and Keurig for all the coffee lover preferences.

The home is cleaned and stocked with all organic cleaning products.

For those of us that have to work while we play, we have wifi internet, a desk area, and a printer. The home is also equipped with Direct TV satellite television on the main floor and games to play in the game room on the lower level.

Dogs are allowed and subject to a $75 pet fee.

Awesome view

The house was great! It had everything we needed. The kitchen was very well stocked and the beds were comfy. We loved sitting on the deck and taking in the view! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our only recommendation would be to add a full length mirror in the master closet.

Best cabin stay

This was one of the best cabins I have stayed at. My friends and I have been doing annual cabin trips for the past ten years so we have stayed in many different cabins and this cabin checked all of our boxes! The view was perfect. The best stocked kitchen we have ever seen which was so nice. The owner was very nice to leave the baby items out for us which again was so nice to have them there already. The drive up to the cabin was easy and the directions were very clear. We have never said that we wanted to come back to a cabin before, but this one we definitely saved to go back to!

The view was amazing with fall colors. Very comfortable and well supplied with nice linens, cookware, toiletries, etc. Host responded quickly to all my questions. Good booklet explaining home furnishings and local recommendations.

Girls trip

I stayed at this property with 7 women . We loved the views the house was great every bedroom had its own bathroom we really enjoyed the hot tub even though not all of the jets work , The fire pit area was nice . It’s a great house . The remote for the ac/heat we didn’t find till the last day it looks like a remote and is in the living room . Just FYI

Family trio to Brevard

Absolutely perfect mountain retreat, we ate dinner in the deck overlooking the mountains every night, cooked out over the firepit, soaked in the hot tub and my daughters said the little waterfall on prooerty, which you can hear from the house and firepit, was like walking into an enchanted forest, we will be back!

From the views, to the waterfall, to the wonderfully stocked kitchen, this house is amazing. It's a perfect base from which to explore from Asheville to Highlands. And at the end of the day, enjoy the hot tub with your favorite beverage.

Great Mountain View

Our family of 7, 3 generations, spent a great week at this beautiful house. The large deck offered beautiful views of the Smokey Mountains. Having three levels, with bedrooms & bathrooms, made it perfect for toddlers naps, and late sleepers. The kitchen was fully equipped and very well labeled. Highly recommend this house.

Lovely cabin with outdoor amenities a short drive from downtown Brevard

This lovely cabin has a trickling waterfall and outdoor seating around a fire pit with great views. Accessible trails and hikes are only a short drive away. We went to Gorges state park for a hike near Rainbow Falls then ate lunch in downtown Brevard, and returned later for dinner at the Blind Mule. Great spot that I would highly recommend.

Just incredible!

This is an incredible home - beautiful cozy interior, outstanding outdoor living areas, and a private natural mountain setting. So many personal touches around the home, from fresh fall decor and mums to supplies for s’mores and treats for us and our pups! The location is terrific - close to Cashiers and Brevard. The home is thoughtfully stocked with everything you need. We couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more and look forward to visiting again. Thank you for you sharing your home with us!

Mountain Paradise

Serenity Falls Lodge is a beautiful dog-friendly cabin with every amenity you can imagine. The cabin itself is very clean and well maintained. The kitchen is stocked with all the cooking items you need, the furnishings both inside and outside are very comfortable and the view is breathtaking. The private waterfall is soothing no matter where you are on the property. We enjoyed the fire pit and soaking in the hot tub after hiking and biking in the area. The Owners are very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. We are planning a return trip in the future.

Great stay!

The house was clean, well organized and had lots of extras to make our stay enjoyable- everything from dog shampoo to an array of puzzles and games. The kitchen was well stocked too. This house has a beautiful view in a quiet setting with plenty of outdoor space between neighbors. It was perfect for our family. Julia gave us some dining suggestions and they were AMAZING! Thank you so much. We truly had a relaxing time.

Great Experience

Really nice place, very clean, owner is super easy to work with and accommodating! Setting is very serene and relaxing. I highly recommend this place! The one recommendation would be to add foam toppers to the beds - but overall would definitely come back!

Quiet location, beautiful setting.

The property is located in Rosman near Brevard. It is in a quiet area surrounded by woods and has spectacular views. There is plenty of outdoor and indoor space for activities or relaxation. We were three friends on a hiking vacation; it met all of our wants and needs.

Summer Break

This Mountain View home was just want we needed. A break from the Florida and Louisiana heat and humidity! Great views off the balcony, morning coffee time was magical. Great location and distance to a wide variety of family friendly trails and waterfall viewing. Also easy drive to Asheville and Brevard for day outings. Fantastic mountain retreat!

We planned a long weekend trip to NC with friends and we wanted a place in the mountains close to hiking and biking trails and this location was perfect! The pictures of the views online do not do it justice as we all spent our mornings and evenings on the deck in awe of the beautiful views! The waterfall on the property was awesome and we also put the fire pit to good use. The house had everything we needed to cook meals and the owner was so helpful with the check in process and recommendations of everything from the best place to buy groceries to the best local restaurants. Our friends already want to make a return trip!

Wonderful rental house with an amazing view!

Amazing Mountain Property!

The pictures and description do not do this house justice. The mountain views are much closer up and more mountains than appear in the pictures. The waterfall is right on the property (I thought you had to walk a ways) - you can even see and hear it from the deck. The view is just gorgeous. All of the bathrooms are really nice. Bedrooms are good sizes. And the owner is incredibly responsive - responded to all messages before and during the trip immediately. I cannot give this enough positive reviews. Best rental house we've stayed in.

Look no further, this is the place!!

Perfect home for family getaway. Went at peak fall season. The view from the house was spectacular, beautiful sunsets. The home was clean and beautiful. There was nothing that we lacked. Very close to hiking, stores, restaurants. There is a path to a beautiful waterfall and another to the fire pit. Plenty of wood. Mums and pumpkins decorated the huge deck. There is a hot tub that was great too. Rent it you will not regret a thing. (We had a three year old and the house was very safe).

We live in Charlotte, NC and split our time between the mountains and the beach. We love to travel and we’re fortunate enough to both have careers in sales allowing us to work remotely. We have two fur babies Stella and Bentley.

Why they chose this property

We love the mountains and Brevard has a special place in our hearts. We got engaged in DuPont at Triple Falls and spent time in the rain forests of Costa Rica. Julia’s grandmother went to college in Brevard and her father, uncle, and cousins went to camp nearby. We found this property as a second home for us and we open it up for some short term rentals. The property had sceberyghing we were looking for, long range views, a waterfall, and remote but not too far from town.

What makes this property unique

Transylvania county is the land of waterfalls and is a temperate, rain forest climate. We love exploring the 250 waterfalls, hiking, fly fishing or tubing on the French Broad River, and dining out or shopping in Brevard and Asheville.
