My family came to Providence to tour colleges. Van was a perfect host and accommodated all of our needs and then some. We will definitely be back should either of our girls come to college here.
We had a very nice stay for the week. My teen daughter loved her purple room with the reading area. I really appreciated the private outdoor space so I could safely let my dog out without fear of her escaping. While there were a lot of books available to read, it would have been nice to have more options on the tv. I was glad we had brought games with us for the evenings. Van was great at communicating whenever I had a question.
Very convenient to downtown and in such a nice area. The stay was pleasant, comfortable and the perfect size for 3 adults, a child and a dog. The private backyard was nice to have as well. Van was very responsive and we plan on staying here again when in the area.
Very friendly and responsive. Was able to help us with tourist attractions and local restaurants. Even allowed us to leave them cash to rent a movie on tv during our rain day! Highly recommended! Would stay again
Great 3 night stay w the kids. This is a perfect setup for a small family & one bedroom is big enough to accommodate an air mattress for an extra person. Van was super easy to communicate with and we will definitely try to visit again.
9 days into a 28 day stay we left for a hotel. The first few days I spent hours cleaning grease from the vent hood and adjacent area. The stove top had built- up grime and the oven was so dirty that we did not use it. A greasy pan had been left in the oven. Even the window sill adjacent to the stove had a patina of grease. I cleaned the small window air conditioning unit in the living room adjacent to the kitchen because it was dirty, as was the filter, which I washed.. I could continue but leave it to say the general cleanliness of the unit was unacceptable. We also had a problem with my granddaughter being bitten in the bed she was using. To avoid further bites she slept on an air mattress in the living room for a couple of nights. The host indicated they sprayed while were away in Boston for a couple days. She had bug bits the first morning after we returned, which is why we left. Too bad because the unit is close to Brown, has off street parking and has two nice size bedrooms.
We had a small family (4 adults) meet up in Providence and stayed there. We enjoyed it thoroughly. The house had everything we needed. It’s in a nice quiet area which avoids a lot of the downtown noise. It was easy to walk to restaurants, Brown University, RISD and other attractions. The best part - big, comfy beds!
Clean 2 bedroom apartment with full bath and washer/dryer, convenient to the brown university campus as well as the Blackstone Blvd for morning runs. Van, the owner was accessible via text throughout our stay.
This property is centrally located. Parking is off street and easy. The apartment was roomy, well equipped, and very clean. Nice patio off the living room was wonderful for an evening glass of wine. Van and her family were very welcoming and extremely nice. Could not recommend more highly if you’re spending time in Providence.
The neighborhood was quiet, we were able to walk to Whole Foods for supplies, highly recommend the restaurant “Palo” for tapas. The apartment was nice and comfortable with most everything we needed. I was impressed with the fact that the host emailed me every day to check if we needed anything. I would definitely stay here again! 👍🏻
This was a pleasant property and immaculate with lots of natural light and beautiful pine floors. I was here for a two week session at grad school. The property is lovely and Van does a beautiful job with the gardens. I did not realize how busy the street was or that the only AC is window units upstairs but nothing in the downstairs. It worked fine because the weather was cool. The living room sofa is very uncomfortable and in need of repair. Overall though, my stay was very comfortable and pleasant and I especially appreciated the tempurpedic beds and patio area, as well as a stocked kitchen and washing machine and dryer for laundry. Be advised that this unit is part of a larger building with occupied units. Would recommend!
Van was an excellent host that ensured my group had everything we needed. After several delays because of Covid-19, we finally were able to have this trip. (Van allowed us to rebook the dates not once but twice!)
The property offered a central location for easy access to all our planned activities. It was clean, welcoming, and safe! The youngest member of our group (4 year old girl) lovingly would announce we were “home at our pretty purple house in Providence!”
Van even made an extra effort to share some of his own kids toys with our kids during the stay!
Five Stars All Day!
Was just what I needed, and working with Van on changes (I had to change plans several times) was super easy. He was very responsive, replying to my emails / texts very quickly.

Liked: Check-in, communication
Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
Not what I expected
The place was very tiny not much room to move around. Looks way bigger then it actually is in the photos. I was not happy with the property. However, the owner was great communicating via text.
The location of the townhouse was perfect for our short weekend visit. The beds were very comfortable and the place was immaculate. We will definitely book this place again for our next visit.
