Log cabin stay outside Rome, GA

Very picturesque setting among the trees. Enjoyed the quiet location even though there are a couple of houses close by. The log cabin was very clean and very well equipped.

Quiet Get Away for Graduation

We originally stayed in the cabin 4 years ago when we brought our daughter to Berry College. We enjoyed it so much we returned for graduation. It is a quiet location to get away from the hustle and bustle of moving out and graduation.

Mountain Berry weekend

Family Weekend

I booked this location so that family from other areas could come and stay with us. My grandson and dogs loved the creek, and it made for a wonderful afternoon. The cabin was absolutely wonderful. We were able to cook, grill and just hang out on the porch. The property owner/manager was great to communicate with and very nice. I would definately book the cabin again.

Wonderful Cabin!

We had a great time at this cabin – it was cozy, well-kept, and in the perfect location. The owner, Jerry, went above, and beyond to take care of everything we needed from coming out to fix a TV remote to providing Drywood for our fire. We really enjoyed sitting out front in the peace and quiet, and sitting out back by the fire pit. The cabin has everything you need for a wonderful family vacation. We will absolutely be back!

Peaceful retreat to reset and recharge!

Beautifully decorated, attention to detail, peaceful and quiet. Great location for hiking or walking along the river. Located between the quaint town of Summerville and Rome. Comfortable beds and great space for some family game nights. Would return and recommend this property!! Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay. We were close to Berry College and hiking locations. My high schooler enjoyed the short walk through the tree swing which is on the side of a hill so you get fantastic height. There was a path which was an old railway and then a creek with tons of rocks that would be a great search-n-find location for Native American artifacts. This time of year was gorgeous. The house is everything we needed and the owner lives close and answered any questions we had. We’d stay here again.

Thanksgiving vacation

Our host went above and beyond all week from fire wood delivery to recommendations on what to see during our visit. Lots to explore on the property. Dogs enjoyed long walks on the trails. Kitchen was very nice. Very clean, and felt like home. Note, GPS will tell you arrived, property is actually a little further down the road, but the owner Jerry answered right away and directed us in at night, Great time over all we will be back for sure.

For this part of Tennessee this is one of the best cabins we have stayed in. On site owner was amazing as well! Tons of walking/hiking trails with hidden gems all over the property. Definitely a must stay in this area!

Dream cabin

By far the coolest property we’ve ever stayed at. The cabin is spacious, beautiful & well equipped. The property manager Jerry, is just the nicest most helpful guy you could ever find. Well worth the price & leisurely time spent there.

Great accessibility to many fun cities

My husband and two kids stayed here for almost a week. We went to Carterville for the science museum, Fawn Rising for Cloudland Canyon SP hiking, Ellijay for tubing and Rome for sightseeing & shopping. All very reasonable drives for No Georgia fun! Will return!!

Beautiful Cabin

This cabin was beautiful and beyond our expectations. It is secluded, which we loved. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The cabin looks brand new, very clean and the property manager lives close by and was very pleasant. We would definitely book this cabin again when we are in the area. Five stars!

Beautiful peaceful

Everything was wonderful. However this booking process and trying to speak with someone on details inside the home so I knew to bring or not and other questions about area could not be answer for weeks because I couldn't contact the owner whom was wonderful. But the process going through this site and trying to speak with someone is a joke and took me five emails and alot of calls just to get someone. And then when I did they had no answer. I am in this industry as well and the people I rent to speak to me from the day they start looking and they do book throw vrbo but are able to contact me right away for questions as I had.

Beautiful & cozy cabin!!! 🎄❄️💕

We stayed here, at Jerry’s cabin for 5 nights over Christmas break. It was peaceful, and serene. We explored the property on foot and via quads, saw some deer and other wildlife. The babbling brooke was a nice escape from the city. Although there are neighbors nearby we only saw and spoke with Jerry and Teresa (the owners). The home had all the basic essentials. It was big and spacious accommodating our family of 7 (+ 2 pups) We only had to bring food, clothes and ourselves. We hope to visit in the spring to see the changes in the foliage.
