BIG POCONO LODGE “Largest Home @ Camelback”

This spacious brand new 5 star property is located 1 block from Camelback Resort. We have created the ultimate Pocono vacation lodge. Enjoy this professionally decorated and furnished lodge with your family and friends. We have nine bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms with plenty of seating to accommodate all our guests. This house has three master suites with private bathrooms. Also there are six other bedrooms including two log cabin rooms for the kids or young at heart adults to enjoy. Our kitchen is equipped with 2 refrigerators and a 4ft wide Hibachi grill. Or BBQ on the huge deck and enjoy the Mountain View’s.

Stunning Home
A absolutely beautiful place to stay for our entire extended family… all 18 of us. So much community space to be together away from the many bedrooms. So much to do at camelback but lots of quality time spent at the home as well playing games and eating and being together and never feeling crowded. Great communication with John!!! Just an easy experience that allowed us to create many memories together. Highly recommend this home!!!

Beautiful House
The house was beautiful, in great condition, and in a good location. We had a party of sixteen >60 yo guys stay for a long weekend. Everyone had a fun time. We watched sports on the various TVs, played pool and shuffleboard, used the jacuzzi, fireplace and fire pit, and visited the nearby brewery. A special shout out to the property manager who was very responsive to our questions and requests. Thanks John!

Amazing Lodge
The pictures on this site do not do this place justice. The house is beautiful and very spacious. Kitchen was clean and open great for cooking for large groups. I would recommend and come back again for more trips.

Outstanding House
This was our second stay at John’s house. It is so perfect for a large group gathering. We had the greatest time playing games, hanging out, using the fire pit and just enjoying what the house has to offer. So fun and will be back again! The place is exactly as seen on website. Super clean … loads of amenities… all linens and towels were provided. There are no negatives to staying here.

This was a fantastic venue for our family get together. Everything was exactly as described. this included practically all you need for your stay. no problems at all with our group of 22 for three nights. Fantastic place, look forward to renting again..

Wonderful Family Mountain Get Away
We had a wonderful family trip in a beautiful home that was equipped with everything you could think of. The attention to detail in the home was amazing. We skied, fished, tubed, shopped and ate!! The home shows even more beautiful in person. We will definitely be back.

This rental is top tier! You won't be disappointed. I spent my 53rd birthday at this beautiful spacious cabin with fiends and family. The location was perfect. The great room was spacious with seating for all of us to gather at the same time. The kitchen is fully stocked and the beds are plentiful!

Great property for large groups!
We came here with a large group and this house was absolutely perfect for our trip. Plenty of space for everyone with 16 beds, 5 bathrooms, and large common areas with couches. The large kitchen space was great for preparing meals, as was the grill on the deck. In terms of entertainment, it's a great location as well, with a huge living room, basement with shuffleboard and pool tables, and a large outdoor space perfect for campfires and lawn games. It's also extremely well located, just a few minutes down the road from Barley Creek Brewing and Big Pocono State Park. Overall, a fantastic rental experience!

Perfect house for large family
This house was a perfect place for large family gathering. Minutes away from skiing. The house was very clean, perfectly themed, and multiple levels allowed everyone to enjoy their stay without feeling overcrowded. Our teens/children enjoyed the game room/lower level, and adults loved spending time by the fire and gathering around the kitchen. The one negative was we were not able to enjoy the hot tub. It had not been cleaned and was filled with algae. Other than that, we look forward renting this house again.

Great Family Vacation
We enjoyed a lovely week at Big Pocono Lodge with our family of 17 adults, 7 children, and 2 infants. There was plenty of room for everyone and we enjoyed cooking on the hibachi griddle, lounging in the living room, sitting around the campfire, hiking in Hickory Run State Park, swimming at Promised Land State Park, and shopping at the outlets. The kitchen has lots of plates, cups, bowls, flatware, pots and pans, but was short on drinking/wine glasses and serving dishes. Bring your own sponges and dish towels along with garbage bags. I would recommend this property!

Wonderful Family Reunion! Perfect for us! We are ten Senior Citizen Siblings + our 8 Spouses
This home was perfect for our first annual Family Reunion. We are 10 siblings (60 yrs+) and 8 spouses. Even with all of our individual quirks and needs we all really enjoyed our stay. We were able to relax in our seperate rooms or enjoy each others company in the spacious living room, outdoor decks, kitchen, game room or dining area. We all had hours of fun in the Game room using the pool table, basketball game and playing shuffleboard. We enjoyed a bar-b-que meal outside. We later gathered around the spacious firepit for a wonderful time reminiscing and catching up with each other. This property's immediate area has everything you can possibly want in a vacation rental home. Fabulous places to eat, shop, have fun, and explore. The hosts were extremely accessible and very accommodating. We all appreciated the fact that they were very invested in all of us enjoying our stay. You will realize, like us, that they give a lot of thought to everything that people would want when staying at a rental house. God willing, we are looking forward to all of us celebrating many annual reunions at this fabulous property.

Perfect house! Forever memories made!
I cannot say enough about this house! It was beautiful, so spacious, and CLEAN! I am very picky, so for me to give 5 stars on cleanliness never happens. This house was so clean! :) It was beautiful, so uniquely decorated, and the check in and out process couldn’t have been easier! We had 20 people, and we never felt crammed or on top of each other. Pictures do not to the outside space justice!!! The cutest fire pit, and a ton of room for backyard games! I am already thinking of a reason to get my family and friends together to return next year! Thank you!!

Beautiful Well Appointed House for Large Reunion
A beautiful house with everything necessary to have a wonderful weekend with family and friends. Celebrated a milestone birthday with large group. I’ve been to a lot of VRBO’s and this was among the most well appointed. Very clean! Comfortable beds (though thin blankets) that easily slept 19 people and would fit more. Lots of different sitting spaces and great kitchen with two fridges and a griddle/hibachi stovetop. A few more stuffed animal heads than we expected but certainly added to the character of the place. Very accessible to Camelback, outlets, etc. Hot tub was clean though didn’t use it. Fireplace was great. Only reason for four stars is there were some hiccups with the heating system, hot water, entry code, and wifi but seems like that was due to house not having been rented in a bit and a power issue. Owner was very responsive to any issue and also sincerely apologetic. Would definitely recommend to anyone with a big group looking for a weekend away.

Property is big, and beautiful, but not as described on VRBO read my full review!!
First and foremost the property had no air conditioning in any common areas, nor did it have air conditioning in the entire basement, trust me, comfort can amount to about 50% of your vacation experience, and to sit in sweat all week is no fun. Following is a list of issues we had at the house. Before we list the issues it’s important for me to not the owner is very nice, and the home is very big, and beautiful. Now the ugly Water pressure is terrible, and I mean bad!!! Hot tub is filthy, but was cleaned immediately by service. If you enjoy traveling to the mountains to see deer, wild turkey, bears, this house is not for you. Sliding doors are hard to open, sliding screens kept coming off track. Both propane tanks weee empty Fire pit was completely full, not cleaned out. Should have an ash can!!! Ice makers do not work. Wasp nest in door jam second floor kitchen area. Microwave button is broke Air conditioning unit for loft area non functional Overall the property seems as though it’s not being properly maintained, in addition folks should know during the summer months prepare to be very uncomfortable. And just to note the stream is not easily accessible from the property.

This property because we wanted to be near plenty of activities. We are 1 block from Camelback Resort which has the best skiing and snow tubing in the Poconos. There have zip lining, coasters and Tree top adventures. There is also an outdoor and indoor waterparks. We are also minutes from Mount Airy casino which also feature great venues. If your into shopping the outlets are 1 mile from the house. Enjoy many restaurants within minutes from this property. There is something to do for everybody in your group.

What makes this property unique

This home can accommodate plenty of guests during the day. We are one block from Camelback resort. We are 100 FT from Pocono Creek where you can fly fish or cool off in the summer. This house was built to entertain.
