Beautiful cabin in the woods!

If you're looking for a place to stay in Duck Creek, I highly recommend Julie's place! The cabin was spacious, beautifully decorated and had more than what you'd expect for a VRBO! I would definitely stay here again as would my friends!

2nd TRIP HERE, AND MORE ARE BEING PLANNED!!!

This was our 2nd trip to "Music on the Mountain", and as with the first, was EXCELLENT! Julie's property is just so immaculate, and so well taken care of, that once you've been there, you will NOT want to stay at any other cabin in the area. We had a great time just "chilling out" the first day, followed by trips to Panguitch and the surrounding areas, and some fishing. My personal highlight of this trip (which I'm NOT advising anyone to do) was feeding the deer OUT OF MY HAND! I guess I made a good friend with one of the "mother" deer, and she trusted me...what an experience! Julie, thank you so much for the GREAT communication, and allowing us to stay in your cabin again.

THE ONE TO COMPARE ALL OTHERS BY / BEST OF THE BEST

From the moment we read the listing, we knew we had to stay here. What got our attention was NO PETS and NO SHOES INSIDE..what a rare find, someone that has the same standards we do! The communication with Julieta prior to our stay was EXCELLENT...she answered EVERY question, and VERY quickly... normally within an hour! We've stayed at Duck Creek before, so we knew the area, and what to expect, but "Music on The Mountain" was way above our expectations. From the minute you walk in the door, you feel at home, and want to treat it better than your own home, because it's so well taken care of. We can't say enough good things about the interior, exterior, property, and attention to detail of each. This is by far the best cabin we've ever stayed in...Thank you for allowing us to share your home. I had planned on doing some fishing, but got so wrapped up in relaxing and enjoying the immediate area, I didn't get a chance to! From feeding and watching the deer every day, to waking up to 7 wild Turkeys, and going for walks and drives, I just didn't really want to fish...I just wanted to relax and "chill". We had the best vacation week we've had in a long time, and it's all thanks to "Music on The Mountain". Thank you so much for a well deserved break we needed. We're already looking forward to coming back in the Spring of 2020. For any future renters...PLEASE respect the property and all of it's contents. It will only take 1 or 2 people to mess things up before the owners decide to no longer rent out THEIR home to others. To the owners...Thank you again for an EXCELLENT and ENJOYABLE experience!

Greatest Place on the Mountain

Words can't let you know how great this place and host are. From the first moment we drove up we new we picked a grand place. When we opened the door it was even better. It was so clean (a lot to do with taking your shoes off) and so decorated. The pool table was awesome for us when we got back from the parks to relax. It is stocked with everything you need, and more. Julie was so easy to work with (see we had to cancel this place a year ago because of Covid and she worked great with us). We rebooked and so glad we did. It is close to both Bryce and Zion canyons. Also Red Canyon is on the way to Bryce, it is a great side trip. The cabin is located in a cute little Village (Duck Creek Village). Everyone is so nice. Doug at the True Value is full of information about the area and showed us a hike we could do to a Pond. The Cafe and Aunt Sue's are good places to eat. Hot Mamma's is great but only opened Fri, Sat, and Sun. Okay back to the cabin. Fire ring outside and fireplace inside. We needed both since it was in the 20's in the morning during our May trip. It warmed up to around the mid 60's during the day. There are plenty of heaters in the house and we never got to cold. We had deer visit us 3 out of the 5 days we were there. There is a nice gas grill that we used to cook a romantic dinner 2 nights. It is just such a great place to relax and enjoy nature as it use to be. So now you see why I said Words can't really tell you how great this place is. If you are reading this you probably are looking at this cabin. Don't pass it up, you will be so glad you stayed here. Ed

Very clean & comfortable!

My husband, our 2 teens, and I had a great stay at Music on the Mountain over the Thanksgiving holiday. It is a convenient location for day trips to Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks. The town of Duck Creek itself is cute as well. (We had our Thanksgiving dinner at Aunt Sue’s Chalet.) Note that Duck Creek high in elevation— 8000+ feet— so take precautions to avoid altitude sickness if you are not accustomed to the elevation. That being said, out of my family of 4 Floridians, only my daughter had symptoms— probably from not drinking enough water. After a day of rest and a lot of Gatorade, she was fine. The owner, Julie, was great to work with and responded to all my questions practically immediately. If you visit in cold weather, take Julie’s advice to have a 4-wheel drive and snow titles seriously— you will need them! My kids loved sledding (sleds included at the cabin), and exploring nearby Mammoth Cave. Seeing the locals harvest their own Christmas trees from the snowy surrounding forest was special indeed, since we usually get ours from Costco!

Great time on the mountain!

We had an amazing time staying at the Music on the Mountain cabin. The cabin is well equipped with pretty much everything you may need and is very clean. The host was very accommodating and responded quickly to any questions. The surrounding scenery was amazing and the cabin is right between Bryce and Zion and don't forget Cedar Breaks only 30 minutes away. We'll definitely be back some day..

Wonderful property. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a great time at this cabin. It was conveniently located and we really enjoyed the ping pong and pool table. Just a suggestion to add more lighting above the pool table. It was too dim at night. But overall we had a great time and would recommend this cabin.

Quiet, clean cabin is my new fave

Our stay was exactly as expected! Fit us all perfectly, had all the amenities, beautiful and clean, easy to access, and quiet, away from motorists. Our host couldn’t have been better. We loved sitting on the desk enjoying the deer and small wildlife, and we will be back. Thanks Julie!
