STAY AWAY at all costs!!!! Condition and description of property are not as advertised!!!!
The pool has loads broken tiles with sharp edges. Both my sons suffered cuts to their feet on their first swim in the pool. Despite my complaints, only 2 tiles were replaced. As a result, we did not use the pool. Very disappointed as when I booked the property, I clearly state that there are 4 children in my party. The description on the adverts are inaccurate and misrepresentative. The front door lock is insecure and my family did not feel safe staying in the property despite being in the property for 3 nights only. The property is facing a car park full of pick ups and cars with rows of cheap room/flats for rent. Loud music could be heard from these rental accommodations at night. The so called ‘remote controlled front gate’ does not work. You have to push the front gate to shut and open it. The ‘latest entertainment syatem’ is so outdated. The whole property is very poorly maintained. The description and photos of the property in HomeAway’s website are inaccurate and misrepresentative. The worst is that you would not have any privacy during your rental. I noticed that during my rental, someone went into the property everyday whilst we were out in the town. This is a disgrace. Lastly, the manager of the property took a long time to answer my queries when we were in the property. One would want to rent a property in order to have a nice and comfortable holiday. This would not be the case if you rent this property. I have rented many properties with HomeAway for my family’s holiday and this is the first time I am leaving a negative review. I would suggest HomeAway take my review seriously and do something about it. In a nutshell, STAY AWAY!!!! There are plenty more better accommodations in Koh Samui.
