Excellent house, excellent communications

Large well decorated comfortable house (we were a party of five) - everything worked, it was clean, plenty of supplies. I'm good at complaining but I really can't find anything to complain about.

Wonderful Getaway

Simply lovely mini vacation. Loved the home, the tree filled backyard, the grill, fire pit, the great kitchen and dining room. This was the perfect location for dedicated family time!

Cheerleading competition weekend

Beautiful home in a nice quiet area close to everything. Jeff was a great host and the house was loaded with extras that you normally don’t find at most rentals. We will definitely rent this house again if our travels bring us back to Raleigh.

Gorgeous home, responsive host!

I enjoyed staying in this beautifully decorated and meticulously cleaned home while the rain kept falling. I didn’t mind the weather, I curled up in front of the fireplace and enjoyed the windows looking out at the trees. So many great restaurants nearby that delivered. I’d love to come back in nicer weather.

We wanted to stay forever!

We were in town for our daughter’s engagement party being held at Lake Johnson. The home is beautiful and was a perfect fit for our group. The hosts are among the best we’ve ever had; super responsive and accommodating. It’s very obvious by their welcoming touches that they care about you and want your stay to be a great experience, and they assure that with style!

Lovely woods out back

We had privacy and plenty of room to spread out. Even though the house is located on a kind of busy street and there was road construction during our stay, inside was quiet. We could view lots of trees out the back with plenty of squirrels and birds to watch. The house is close to shopping, parks and airport.

Amazing Property

The property was perfectly located near our jobsite, the city and restaurants. The home was spacious and clean. The kitchen and bathrooms were completely stocked with everything one would need. The backyard was peaceful and private. The host was very responsive and attentive to our needs. I highly recommend this home for a rental if you are lookimg to vist the Raleigh area.

Wonderful Home in a Great Area

My mother, sister, and I stayed at this home for a weekend on NC State’s Friends and Family weekend. The home is welcoming and clean. The first floor has a very nice bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. The kitchen is spacious and had everything that we needed. Seating at the bar and the adjacent dining room made interaction easy. With additional bedrooms and a bathroom at opposite ends of the second floor, we all had privacy. The location of the home was perfect; quick drives to the NC State campus, grocery stores, coffee shops, restaurants, etc. Highly welcome this home in Raleigh.

Concert Getaway

Six close friends stayed here for two nights. Friday night we drove to PNC Stadium for a concert (6 minute drive) and Saturday we toured Raleigh and hung out. This was the perfect place to stay. We were minutes from all kinds of nightlife, restaurants, shopping, etc. Property was easy to find, very spacious, clean, well stocked and everything was in working order. Out host Jeff and Ellen were very helpful with check in and any questions we had. We would love to visit again soon.

Comfortable and cozy

House is super-comfortable and cozy. Host was quick to respond to questions. Location is very nice, and a short drive to pretty much anything you’d like (restaurants, shopping, PNC Arena and other attractions). Loved that the property feels private even though it’s in a suburb. Lots of trees in the back. There’s currently some construction on the road the house is on, but wasn’t a big deal. Just something to be aware of.

Very comfortable home

This was the second time my husband and I and our children (ages 11 and 9) stayed here for a weekend while visiting family in Raleigh. Check-in and check-out instructions were clear and easy to follow, the house was very clean, and the bedrooms and beds are comfortable. With two full bathrooms upstairs and a full en suite bathroom in the primary bedroom, we all had plenty of space. I recommend this property and would definitely stay again.

Super nice house for stay with friends.

The owner was super nice and had a great notebook about the house and instructions. Vrbo didn't send us the code but the owner was apologetic and sent it. Great house with a nice backyard and grills.

Could not have been better

Jeff was extremely quick and easy to speak with. The house was amazing. Beautiful interior and the back yard had a lot of places to hang out. Everything was super clean. Closet full of games and a garage with extra items to play with. We had a great time and plan on staying there again.

I am 51 years old and have traveled extensively throughout North America which has made me well aware of what it takes to make a guest feel welcome and relaxed. My wife and I have managed our own personal rental properties for the past fifteen years and understand the importnance of a well maintained property. We are trying our hand at the short term lodging market.

Why they chose this property

My wife and I fell in love with this property because of its architectural detail, floor plan, and proximity to city trails. Best of all, our location is just 2 blocks from the Greenway Trail. Our family loves exploring the trail network in Raleigh as well as the walkability of the surrounding neighborhood.

What makes this property unique

Very private setting with a great back porch, deck and patio. The setting feels like you are tucked in a mature forest. The two story wall of windows in the family room allows a great indoor view of the trees. The backyard is very secluded, quiet, and private.
