About this property

Relax at this gorgeous POOL home mins from beaches but miles from the crowds!

Modern, clean and bright pet- and family-friendly HEATED POOL home just minutes from Anna Maria's famous white sand beaches. There's plenty of room inside and out for relaxing at "home" while gorgeous beaches, golf, fishing, boating, kayaking, tennis, pickleball, and tropical nature preserves are only minutes away!

Enjoy your own tropical oasis with a private pool, screened-in patio, and spacious and comfortable living area. Watch TV on the large sectional sofa, sunbathe by the pool, or share dinner around the large dining table. The house has 3 - 4 spacious bedrooms. One with a king-size bed, TV, walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed with French doors leading out to the screened-in lanai and pool area. The 3rd bedroom has 2 twin beds and - like all the bedrooms - high quality mattresses and linens, ceiling fans and room darkening window shades for a good night's sleep.
Use the 4th room to watch TV, read, or as a 4th bedroom with a trundle bed that can be used as two twin beds or turned into one king bed.

Working remotely? No problem! The house has high speed WiFi throughout.

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything a cook could need including quality pots and pans, serving dishes, cooking utensils, microwave oven, blender, toaster oven, popcorn maker, plates, bowls, glassware and silverware. There's an outdoor gas grill, too.
If you’re not in the mood to cook, grab plates and enjoy pizza or carry-out from one of the many restaurants nearby.

The screened-in lanai has plenty of room to stretch out and relax in sun or in shade. We provide pool floats and plenty of pool toys for the kids.
*Please note: out of respect for our neighbors, we ask all guests to enjoy themselves inside after 11 pm. So please no loud music, conversation or splashing in the pool after 11 pm*

There is also a washer-dryer available for guests' use.

And if you have a boat, bring it! There's a dock with boat access to the Gulf of Mexico only ten minutes away. And there's plenty of room to park your boat, trailer or RV in the driveway or on the street in front of the house.

The back yard is fenced in for those bringing pets.

We've tried to think of everything big and small to make your vacation relaxing - including beach chairs and coolers, beach toys and beach towels. If there's anything you need, just ask!
We also provide guests with a detailed list of our favorite places in the area.

For guests bringing pets, we provide a list of dog-friendly places, too.

Caroline was awesome as a host. The property was very comfortable and having a pool was fantastic. The outside space next to the pool was very comfortable. The property is near a nature preserve and the water and was so much fun to spend time at.

A wonderful stay in Bradenton

We absolutely loved Caroline’s house and property. The minute we walked in the front door, we felt a welcoming embrace. It is beautifully laid out for a family with lots of space and some distance between bedrooms for privacy, the deck and pool area were beautiful and I personally really enjoyed the back garden path with many plants, flowers and birds. Caroline was lovely to communicate with and made our stay super enjoyable—she needed access to the house a couple of times during our stay and bought the kids treats and treated us to a pizza night at the end of our stay as a thank you. The location is lovely in a quiet residential area, not far from the beach and nature preserves and minutes from all amenities. If we are ever in the Bradenton area again, we will absolutely stay in this home away from home!

Family friendly location

Communication with Caroline was top notch! She was on it from the day we booked and had the pack-n-play out and ready for us when we checked in. The location was in a quiet neighborhood but close to everything! Easy 5 minute trip to the grocery store and 15 minutes from the beach. The pool was perfect! Plenty of room for us and our extended family. The pop-up tent and beach toys were very handy for the beach days too. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to come back again in the future.

Great location convenient to AMI and central to Sarasota and Tampa areas. The house was well setup for rental needs and very clean! We enjoyed the pool and covered back porch. Caroline, the host, was responsive with any questions we had before and during our stay.

First trip to Anna Maria Island

We had an amazing time! Staying at a functional, well stocked house is essential when traveling with a family. The kids loved being able to take a dip in the pool after spending the day at the beach. Having the flexibility of cooking at home instead of going out was also a great option! We would definitely consider staying a this property again when we visit Anna Maria in the future!

The house is fully equipped and supplied. It has comfortable seating and a Smart TV. It is 5 minutes from Desoto National Monument. A mile walk to Bishop Point provides a view of the river. 2 miles from Robinson Preserve. AMI is about a 7 mile drive.

A home with so many amenities

A first trip to Bradenton/Anna Maria and a first with the whole family. Perfect room sizes for each family member. Our dog enjoyed the yard and lanai area. Quiet neighborhood and I was able to go out for a run and feel safe. Everyone loved the pool (though the toddler needed to wear non slip shoes - very slippery) All the amenities - high chair, play pen, pool/beach toys, beach chairs, towels, mats, and the much needed tent for the beach. Very close to the beaches so toddlers family was able to go for a little while and then go back home for nap time. Great restaurants on the beaches. The sand is so soft and the water so clear- just some seaweed. The host was very kind and when we couldn't find the cookies sheets - she brought one over. Lots of spices, and other cooking essentials to have dinners at home and the grill is handy too. Get to the beaches early and there will be less traffic and better parking spots. Thanks for a great stay.

This was such a carefree stay. The house is set up for fun. There is plenty of beach gear for the kids to use and even cute beach bags. There were plenty of soft towels and pillows and blankets. The kitchen was well stocked. We loved the outdoor space. The way the patio is tucked in makes everything feel very private. There is a fan you can use to circulate the air if need be but a quick jump in the pool accomplished the same thing. We took walks in the neighborhood and everyone was sooo friendly. There is the best, most helpful binder with great recommendations both on and off the island for things to eat and do. Beach tips: weekends are packed! Get there before 9am or risk spending most of your time looking for parking. Weekdays are much easier to find parking but I’d still recommend going before 11am. And if you go to Manatee Beach (without traffic it’s a straight shot about 10 mins away) and eat all you can eat pancakes right on the beach!! We have been to the area a number of times and this house was our favorite we’ve stayed at off island. Highly highly recommend. And if you encounter ANYTHING slightly off (we had found some lightbulbs that were burnt out) contact the owner immediately. She had them replaced within the hour. Super receptive. And she can’t make things better if she doesn’t know it’s broke. She was the sweetest.

Lovely Place with Great Owner!

First off, Caroline is a fantastic VRBO owner, who cares greatly about the experience of her guests. She was quick to respond and went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time. My family and I (husband, 7 yr old daughter, and in-laws) stayed here for five days. Caroline, knowing that it was a birthday trip for my daughter, hung up a birthday sign and left out cupcakes and candles for her. She also talked to a neighbor with a child the same age to see what fun things there were to do with kids in the area. The house was just lovely. Very well cared for, with plenty of beach and pool toys/accessories, and everything we needed for a great stay. The lanai and pool area was fabulous! A great place to read and enjoy a cup of coffee or hang out and have snacks and cocktails, not to mention the actual swimming part, which my daughter adored. Every time we were out of the house, she would ask when we were going back to swim in the pool. The house is located under a mile from the nearest grocery store and restaurants. The drive to the beach depends on the traffic. It's only 6ish miles to get to Anna Marie Island (depending on which beach you are visiting), but be sure to follow the other reviewers' advice and leave early. Beach traffic is nuts and parking spots fill up early. On Sunday, there was too much "dilly dallying" in our group and we could not find a spot at the beach and turned back to enjoy the pool. On Tuesday, traffic was nowhere near as bad and we left a lot earlier and got a spot and spent a lovely day there. All in all, a fantastic family vacation. We saw dolphins out swimming while at the beach and collected some beautiful sea shells. We drove an hour up north to visit the Clearwater Marine Aquarium (great place) and saw many more dolphins and marine life. I highly recommend this house and Caroline as your host. Enjoy!

Loved this place!

We came from the North in search of a warm, sunny, quiet place, with a pool, child and dog friendly, and close to the beach and area attractions. This house is exactly that, as described and pictured. Clean, comfortable for 2 of us for 3 weeks, and worked well when one of our sons, his spouse, and their 6 and 2 year old children joined us for a week. The space is well designed for families and stocked with everything you might need. We spent lots of time outside on the covered porch and pool area. The backyard is fenced and nicely landscaped, so that the pool is sunny but surrounded by greenery, and it feels surprisingly secluded. It is in a quiet neighborhood-we liked that it was not in the middle of the crowds on Anna Maria Island. The owner, Caroline, lives nearby, is responsive and has helpful ideas about things to do. She has also written a thoughtful guide to the area with lots of great suggestions. There are so many things to do- the beach, of course, and Bradenton and Sarasota attractions are an easy drive. Palma Sola Botanical garden is a pretty place to walk and has outdoor yoga. Bishop’s Point is a short walk. Perico Preserve and Robinson’s Preserve are good places to hike, and the Nest at Robinson’s is great place for kids to climb and play. DeSoto National Monument has a nice path along the beach. Anna Maria Island (drive to Pine St. to park. You can order donuts online from The Donut Experiment and pick up, then use public access to the beach). Pine St. also has a few little stores and a public pier on the bay side. The Bradenton Saturday street market is fun. Kefi Coffee is nearby, has great food, coffee, and a nice large, covered patio that is child and dog friendly. Bishop Museum downtown Bradenton has a manatee rescue/rehab aquarium. And Jeremiah’s has tasty ice cream on the way out of Bradenton. Our favorite place to eat was the Star Fish Seafood Co. in Cortez. It is both a fish market and a dockside restaurant with really fresh fish, simply prepared, fun trinkets for kids, and a great little aquarium. We saw lots of Pelicans and a few Dolphins from the dock.

Quiet and restful stay!

The house and area were very quiet and laid back which was perfect for us to chill and relax. Shopping and restaurants are close by. The house was well equipped with almost anything we needed. The host was very responsive and helpful. We felt she really cared about her home and about us.

We chose this property based on cost and proximity to places we visited growing up vacationing on Anna Maria Island. We spent most days in a rotation between the pool and the beach with a few adventures scattered throughout. This house had all the basic supplies anyone would need to have a fun and relaxing vacation.

Great house with a large pool in a tropical garden

The house is absolutely lovely and totally set up for everything. Everything looks quite new and it is very clean and well furnished. The kitchen is more than fully stocked. There's a washer and dryer. There are actually 4 bedrooms, all a decent size. The 4th is like a kids away room with a bed in it as well. The neighborhood is very quiet and very close to everything. The pool was amazing and very clean and temperature perfect. The patio is amazing.. we basically lived there for most of our time:-). It was very relaxing and enjoyable. We truly enjoyed everything. The host is quick to respond and is very considerate of people's budgets.

A few years ago, I decided to buy a second home someplace warm and found my way to Bradenton. I love how casual it is, the weather, the nature and, of course, the uniqueness of Anna Maria Island. I think this is a special spot in the U.S.

Why they chose this property

I love the openness and all the natural light. Plus, having a sparkling pool in your back yard is pretty great!

What makes this property unique

We are only 10 minutes from Anna Maria Island. One advantage to not being on the island is not having to deal with the terrible traffic & crowds, especially in season. You can drive or bike (or even take the bus) to the island in the morning, spend the day at the beach & then come home to your private oasis here. No loud parties or bars. Just privacy & comfort.

We are 15 minutes from downtown Bradenton and all it has to offer including restaurants & shopping.

Nature preserves are five minutes away so you can go for a walk, bike ride, run, paddle board, kayak, or just stroll and take in the sights and sounds of nature.

Sarasota with all its attractions (it's a great small city with too many attractions to mention) is only 25 minutes away.

There's also Siesta Key, voted the best beach in the world several times, just west of Sarasota (& south of Anna Maria Island) & popular Longboat Key.

And there is plenty to explore up north: downtown St. Pete, which has a great art community and lots of trendy restaurants, great beaches, and Tampa.
