Our tranquil retreat features three bedrooms and a detached "Caravana" all with a queen-sized beds - thats 4 in total, PLUS a pull out sofa bed in the lounge room, sleeping 10 total.

Conveniently located near Port Douglas "Wildlife Habitat," you'll have easy access to a supermarket, pharmacy, bottle shop, and public transport. Commuting to the Main Street of Port Douglas, Macrossan Street, is a breeze with a shuttle bus service costing just $5. Buses run every 15 minutes, making it easy to explore the area.

Our home is perfect for grown-up getaways, entertaining, or family vacations. We offer a travel cot and high chair for families and are delighted to welcome your pets! Each bedroom is equipped with fans, air conditioning, and shelves for your clothes.

Wonderfully comfortable home in Port Douglas

There were three couples in our group and we all loved the house. It was comfortable, clean, well-equipped and had a nice layout. The neighborhood was quiet and close enough to the downtown area. We went for lovely walks around the area, and spent a lot of time in the great outdoor pool. I can rate this property very highly and would definitely stay there again.

The Jewel in Jewel Close

Quiet location great outside area and pool. Good base for holiday need car to travel into port Douglas. Weather fabulous for the week and our daughters wedding in Palm Cove was fantastic.

When I booked online slept 11 and had 2 caravans but didn't after booking. Had to ring to get extra bedding. Bin had not been emptied from other bookings so had nowhere to put rubbish. All bins were full. Lovely house but had a few issues prior to arriving. Lovely house put cancel Tranquil Oasis so people aren't confused .

The Jewel

Property was appropriate for the number of guests. Back outdoor/pool area was fantastic and was the most occupied space during our stay. Photos on the listing give the impression of much larger bedrooms, 2 of which were quite small but as we were out most of the time, was not a major issue. The lounge room sliding door out to the caravan could do with some type of window covering as the neighbours could look straight through from their verandah if they were inclined to. Would recommend this property to others that were looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway. Overall, a pleasant stay was had by all.

Wonderful Stay

Cozy and comfortable home. The back entertainment area was spacious and the pool was sparkling. The (studio caravana) was lovely and comfortable too. We really enjoyed our stay and would visit again.

Covid!

We couldn't go because we had Covid, but our family went. They each had a kid under 2 so it was hard going (the place isn't set up for kids that age). Not the places fault. The pool they said was great. Sparkling! For us? Well we had a nice, relaxing time with no kids!

We had family visit (all locals) for dinner one night & they all commented how nice the place felt & everything that is offered with it is just perfect. We didn’t want to go, will definitely book for longer next time. Thank you for allowing us to stay in this home. It’s beautiful

The Entertainer

This property was well suited for our extended family who were up from Brisbane attending a wedding at a nearby resort. All the family had a great time and enjoyed our stay very much. It was a real "home away" from home! I also needed a level entry - single level accommodation for my mother who uses a walking stick & cannot do many stairs. Small shopping centre 200m away for food & vino supplies is convenient which meant we could make the most of the awesome poolside outdoor bar & BBQ area. This property is 5 min taxi ride away from the busy Port Douglas CBD and for me a 15 min walk to one of the precincts quality golf courses. This property was well priced and had all we needed and would book this property again. Rod

Fantastic family home near 4 mile beach

Wonderful location, great outdoor area with pool. Bedrooms are small size but we thoroughly enjoyed it. We had a group of 10 and it was cozy. Large yard. Minimal mosquitoes outside. Very secure property and Jeana (owner) was lovely.
