About this property

All the comforts of home are here in this fully furnished and modern Townhome. This home is located in the exclusive, gated community of Palermo. The front entry, dining area and living room flow seamlessly through this open floor plan. Two sets of sliding glass doors lead into the backyard entertainment area and patio. This 1300 sq foot 2 bed, 2.5 bath boasts high ceilings and an attached garage.

Entry
Right away you will notice the warm colored, smooth, concrete floors. To the side of the entry is a large coat closet. This closet has extra space for storing coats, luggage and other belongings. There is a half-bath powder room near the garage entry.

Kitchen
Stainless steel appliances, microwave, gas range, black granite counters, elevated counter with 2 barstools. Pots, pans, dishes, glasses, flatware and cutlery are included. The kitchen window overlooks Penny Lane.

Dining Area
Large, square dining table seats 6.

Living Room
Comfortably seats 6 adults on a Sofa, Love Seat and Chaise chair. Flat screen television, DVD/blu-ray player, premium cable service, board games and card games are provided.

Yard
Oversized in-ground spa can be used day or night. With or without heat. A Spa Cleaning / Maintenance person tends to the Spa weekly for no extra charge. There is also a propane BBQ and high table that seats four. Two lounge chairs and additional seating adorn the patio.

Upstairs
Stairs and bedrooms are carpeted. Ceiling fans, large closet, chest of drawers and 2 nightstands are in each bedroom. A full size bed is in the 2nd bedroom. A bathtub with shower is in the second bathroom. Master bedroom boasts a King size bed and a balcony facing Penny Lane to the East. Large master bath’s shower and tub are separate. There are two sinks in the Master bath. Plenty of storage is available for all of your toiletries.

Laundry
Full size, side-by-side washer and dryer are upstairs.

The community
Palermo is walled and gated with community center, 2 community pools and spas. The community center features a grand mountain view you’ll enjoy when using the Rec Room, Gym, and pool. A Television, Pool Table, Kitchen and bathrooms are available for you in the Community Clubhouse. Treadmills, Stationary bikes, free weights and Televisions are in the Gym. Adjacent to the fitness center is an oversized pool and hot tub.

Good attention to details.

Jimmy included many personal touches to make for a pleasant stay - a very user friendly handbook of the property, info on restaurants, activities etc. He also had a great selection of games, DVD’s etc. The patio area is terrific & although we did not use the Spool, it was a lovely addition to the space.

Perfect size, quiet, great location for area activities

PROS: This was an excellent choice for a month-long winter getaway for my spouse and me. Plenty of space for MIL to visit one week, as well as a friend. Second bedroom is just as nice as the main/King, just a little smaller. Lots of closet space. Very tranquil back yard. The shared community clubhouse is just steps away from the unit and the heated pool is 'truly' heated, in addition to the hot tub, and both were sparsely attended when we were there. Gym has many cardio machines, dumbbells and cable weights. Overall, the whole development is very quiet. Jimmy was EXTREMELY responsive to our questions. He was a wonderful presence who checked in regularly to see how we were doing. Lastly, the location is great. Close to grocery stores and restaurants and only 20 mins from Palm Desert, and 40 from Joshua Tree. CONS: similar to any place you might rent...sometimes walls are thin (but completely manageable with earplugs (one neighbor coughed and sneezed a lot, but our earplugs solved that) and the kitchen was just slightly smaller than we might have needed if we had stayed for another month. That being said, we are big cooks, so that might be the case in most rental kitchens of a smaller condo.

Excellent, well organized Host!

The property is very nice and extremely well maintained . Jimmy met us and spent time showing us around and making sure we we comfortable , and we’ll versed in all amenities. He was easy to contact and reacted quickly to our enquires. ( a great Host!) The property is modern , clean , nicely decorated.

Fabulous Palm Springs property

We have absolutely loved our stay. The owner was quick to respond to any inquiries and is a great guy. We plan on returning again and again. Having our own spool is fabulous and the community pool is close a large.

A Dream Come True

We enjoyed everything about this place. It was walking distance to downtown Palm Springs if you like walking. The beach cruiser bikes were so much fun and handy to use. The grocery store is just down the road that we used on a weekly basis. The townhouse itself was very clean and has everything you need to have a long stay. We enjoyed the spool and mountain view. The owner was very accommodating and sweet. There was a bouquet of fresh flowers awaiting for our arrival and a thorough tour of the property. We definitely recommend this place. It made our dreams come true.

Perfect place for exploring Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley

This property is spacious and very well equipped for a winter getaway. The backyard patio offers all sorts of sitting options and was great for having some private time. Having your own barbecue was also very welcome. The pet-friendly complex is nicely landscaped, quiet and not so large as to overwhelm, and the residents were very friendly. We especially enjoyed the two pools and hot tubs. Jimmy's personal orientation when we arrived at the property was thorough and VERY helpful. He said he would always be available for us if any problems arose, and he was true to his word. On a Friday evening we reported the microwave had failed, and Saturday morning a new one was installed by his handyman. We were delighted! If we return to Palm Springs, we would definitely try to stay in Jimmy's condo again.

Great Place.

Living in Northern Idaho, we like to come to Palm Springs every winter to enjoy a little warmer weather and attend the International Film Festival. We have come every year for about six years and this was one of the nicest places we have stayed in.

Great get away rental

We arrived with our two dogs for a two-month stay at Jimmy's condo. We were met by Jimmy and given a guided tour before he was off to L.A. We enjoyed the complex. There are several heated pools and spas and a well-equipped fitness room. The complex is gated and very secure and quiet at night. There is also a private spool in the backyard for either a cool dip or you can turn on the heat and have a hot tub. The kitchen is well-equipped with a wonderful gas stove for those days you may not want to go out to one of the many restaurants in the area. The beds are comfortable and the condo is clean and well appointed. Downtown Palm Springs and I-10 are a short drive away. We enjoyed lunch at Sherman's Deli and burgers at Tylers to name just a few. Window shopping at El Paseo in Palm Desert was enjoyable followed by a cocktail. There are so many things to do, art museums, food, hikes, the tram, or you can just relax. Our dogs had a wonderful time. By the way, there is a great dog park by the airport which is only a couple miles away. Luka and Rocket loved their visits there. The Palm Springs area is one of the most dog friendly places we have visited. Thanks Jimmy, but especially thank you for taking pets.

My favorite feature of the home is the private spool in the back yard. It's a cross between a spa and a pool. Ideal for a quick dip to cool off or a relaxing massage from the heated jets, all in the comfort and privacy of your own back yard.
