Tidal Waters Loglodge Studio, is part of the Lodge complex. It is situated 35 minutes North of Gisborne,11 kms south of Tolaga Bay. The studio has superb sea views and is a 10-15 minute walk to Loisels Beach
The unit is self contained with a large king bed, separate bathroom and full kitchen facilities. The property is private . A number of attractions are close by including golf courses, historic walks. wineries and much more.

A special place

We spent a few nights and this beautiful spot, with panoramic views up and down the coast, even in wild weather. We were attending an appointment in Gisborne and this turned out an ideal spot to unwind. Whilst there an extreme weather event passed through isolating us for another day. but we were warm a snug in the beautifully constructed log building in our self contained unit, which had everything we needed, our Our fantastic hosts went to great lengths to make sure we were provided for, especially when we became storm bound. We were allowed to take our small dog Harry, which was fantastic as his days of kennel stays are over. Apart from a great place to get away to its a superb location for special events. We hope to revisit in sunny weather one day.

Great veiws

Amazing location and views but for somewhere so rural in the middle of nowhere, with no supermarket restaurants, you have no choice but to cook breakfast lunch and dinner. So I found the kitchen lacking, there was no scissors, bowls, oven dishes, only 1 steak knife, no glad wrap or foil and fridge so small I had to get on the floor to access, no cupboards for food and no prep area. Make cooking very challenging. It was raining on our stay, and my washing got wet on clothesline with no dryer to dry anything.

Stunning views

Perched on a hill above the ocean with awesome views up and down the coast. Waves breaking below and a great white sand beach to walk along. The lodge is stunning and well crafted by the owner. The studio unit was well appointed, warm and comfortable. You are off the grid and self contained Ensure you are well stocked as the shops are a fair way away Enjoyable and relaxing, just what we needed Thanks

A treat at the end of the gravel road

Very welcoming property manager. Outstanding view from the studio accommodation. Huge (king size) bed providing a great sleep. Small kitchenette bench space makes preparing meal a bit of a logically exercise 😉

Unbelievable Cliff top views

The apartment is very clean and comfortable with everything you need. Being remote the property is self sufficient with rain water and electricity. Ideal setting for an end of day wine and cheese overlooking the cliffs and coast line. The hosts are very welcoming and proud of their log lodge. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

Just Amazing

Going down this very well maintained gravel road you arrive at this very big log cabin on a hill above the Pacific Ocean. The view was amazing. Two lovely dog's greeted us and shortly after Brent the owner arrived. We really had no idea what to expect but we we're not disappointed. Peace and quiet just the sound of the ocean. Everything you wanted for your stay and a lovely comfortable bed. The suite was very warm and would have no hesitation in recommending to others. For a do nothing stay this is the place to go. Just relax , unwind and enjoy the view, you will not be disappointed . Thank you to Brent and his partner for letting us share this special place of theirs.

Fabulous log cabin in idyllic setting

We did start to wonder where we were headed down a track in the pouring rain with little visibility! But we were completely rewarded when we arrived at the beautifully built & appointed Tidal Waters. There was even milk in the fridge for a much needed cup of tea! Then we awoke to the amazing view & were greeted by the lovely & friendly puppies. It was a special & memorable stay- thank you.
