Didn't want to leave. Cant wait to come back. The most amazing view from anywhere in the apartment. Location could not be better. FEDE was responsive and helpful when I messaged him. This place is a gem!!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was meticulously maintained and had great breezes and views.
We didn’t think we needed transportation since we walked 8-10 miles per day when visiting Rome, Italy, however this was different. Very humid and hard to get out of the sun. We did need a golf cart.
When I was on the island 20 years ago there was a local water taxi (not a tour) that was a convenient way to get around. It didn’t seem that this was an option anymore. Too bad - I’d pay for that!

Missing information, safety, and security issues
The entrance was a total mess. The entry door did not have a locking mechanism to close from the inside, so we had to use a screwdriver to secure it. The apartment did not have a microwave, hand towels, or any soap, shampoo, or toiletries, apart from soap in the bathrooms and toilet paper. The kitchen had utilities, knives, and forks for two people. The master room did not have curtains, so the sun woke us up at 6 AM, and there were no curtains in the living room. Additionally, the apartment was extremely hot, and the only thing that seemed to be working properly was the air conditioning.
This property had almost everything we needed. We entered the property from the hallway (there is a climb from the street) and there is an additional entryway to the unit below like a connecter from inside the unit (the photo of the stairs). We had to adventure out to find the laundromat because there was blood on the bedsheets, and we needed an extra blanket for the second bed because it was cold on the last night. The owner explained to us how bugs are a part of "island life :-)" DON'T LEAVE THE DECK DOORS OPEN. But, they were crawling all over the kitchen area and everywhere. It was hard to get comfortable with food prep and cooking. So, we set out on another adventure to find bug killer to get more comfortable with cooking in the unit...and it worked!!! The bathroom was hard to ventilate so we set the fan inside which worked just fine. There is a sink outside on the porch to rinse off snorkeling gear and I found a broom, mop and bucket. So, I mopped the floor trying to get up the black scuff marks and dirt. I removed a lot of dirt but not the scuff marks. Overall the unit is in a great location on the island and we felt safe. The deck was a beautiful morning experience! We did not have a boat this trip but easily found the dock just across the street.
Federico was an amazing host. If I had questions he would respond quickly. It has great views from the deck. You do need transport, a golf cart or a keep. Carlos rentals were great. I might be coming back to stay.
Fede's property was perfect. No need for A. C. as the breezes were great. The property is located within 5 minutes of town. It has 2 decks which overlook the bay. The unit was clean and has all you need . ;].
I had a very great stay at this villa. Very clean, great accommodations, great communication from host. The place was easy to find, was close to restaurants and little shops. Plus the views from the villa are breathtaking. Would stay here again on my next visit to Culebra!
Laid back, quiet retreat that's only a short drive from beaches and town. We enjoyed hanging out on the deck and watching the moonrise.
