Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a great get away! The cottage is comfortable, beautiful, and close to the action on Sunset Walk. My only suggestion: if you are going to provide a coffee maker, please provide coffee filters. To wake up the first day without coffee is cruel. :)

A break from reality

This house was exactly what my family needed during our stay. We wanted a place that was clean, comfortable and close to Disney. The cottage and property were exactly as described. The cottage is also close to restaurants, Sunset Walk, Publix, and Target. The pool was a great way to end a day spent at one of the theme parks.

Very disappointing as we selected a unit Close to a unit our friends were staying at. Unit self was big spacious and fantastic. The only negative... There were three of us there and we were provided with four towels, four hand towels, four washcloths. And there is no iron. There needs to be more towels provided.

A Great Place To Stay

This house was perfect for me and my husband. Check in was very easy and the Margaritaville staff was very friendly. The house is exactly as pictured. The location cannot be beat...a 3 minute walk to the Margaritaville pool. The house has everything you need for your stay. If there are more than two people you may want to get extra laundry soap, dish soap, and hand soap, toilet paper, etc... but they provide a very nice starter set. There are plenty of dishes, pots and pans, and glasses. There are not very many bath towels so if you take a lot of showers you may want to bring some, or plan on washing the ones they provide. The beds are comfortable. The only negative thing I could say is while the floors looked clean, our feet and socks got pretty dirty from walking on them. It was not a big deal to us, but if we had small children playing on the floors we may have called and asked them to wash them. Overall, I would highly recommend this house.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very clean and well taken care of resort. Staff was friendly and professional. We stayed at the cottages and got lucky with its location. Close enough to the pool, resort and the promenade at Sunset walk. Be prepared to pay extra bucks for drinks and food. They won’t allow you outside drinks in the pool forcing you to buy from the bar. Well worth it though! One downside was that the main restaurant Euphoria was closed for a private party multiple times while we were there which limits your options for food. Breakfast at the stop and go was a disappointment. Was very impressed with the cleanliness and attentiveness towards the resort.

Reviewer Comments: We were nervous to renta cottage through a company instead of the resort but we chose Ace/VStay because of the reviews and that we could pick the actual cottage we would be renting. It was a great experience!!! The VStay staff were extremely helpful, cottage was very clean and had just the right amount of kitchen supplies. For anyone renting remember your are renting someone’s property and as with many rentals you have to supply extra toilet paper, paper towels, etc. The wonderful surprise was there were dishwasher pods available which made cleaning the kitchen a breeze. Definitely would stay here again!

The cottage and grounds were immaculate. It is also conveniently located to all the main attractions. This cottage is located very close to the main pool which also has two Tiki bars. An (almost) perfect week in paradise

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we had a great stay at Margaritaville. A few things to be noted that I believe could have been improved upon:- We were a group of 5 so we booked the 2 bedroom cottage that was advertised to accommodate a maximum of 6 guests (2 bedrooms and 1 pull out sofa), however when we arrived we were only provided enough bedding for the 2 bedrooms and towels for 4 people. There was no linen offered for the pull out couch or pillows, and no blanket. I had booked our reservation for 5 people so we thought maybe the extra guest had been overlooked or forgotten about by the housekeeping team. We called the front desk at Vstays to request extra bedding and were told they wouldn't provide any extra bedding than what was already in the unit and if we wanted another towel we would have to purchase it. After some back and forth (which was a very frustrating situation after travelling all day) finally I spoke with a manager who provided the linen and bedding. Long story short, when a property is booked for 5 guests, it should be ready for the 5 guests when they arrive, especially at a 4 star resort. It definitely did not make for a stress-free check in, and took away from the initial good impression we had of the resort.- The supplies left in the unit were very minimal and we found it stingy. We booked for a week long stay and we were left with 3 dishwashing tablets, 2 garbage bags, 1 paper towel roll and only 4 rolls of toilet paper. There was a full kitchen yet no basic things provided like coffee filters? (we had to buy our own coffee filters?) and no salt and pepper? These small details are things a guest shouldn't have to think about when spending a large amount of money to stay at the property. We expected to do a grocery shop for our stay but weren't expecting to have to buy basic items like hand soap for each bathroom.-The shuttle never came at time quoted (shuttle was a reason I booked as my father has accessibility issues) we waited over 40 mins long

Great with one exception

The issue we had was on the day we were leaving. We had been informed upon arrival that for the cottages checkout was 11Am. However the day we were leaving we had the cleaning service ringing the doorbell at 9:50 (ish) am, before 10. Asking us to leave the cottage. My kids were eating breakfast and i was showering so my husband recieved the message and informed me. So i called the front desk (panicking) to see if we were going to end up with a late check out fee, the desk said 11 was in fact correct so we went about our morning packing up. The cleaning service then proceeded to enter the cottage from the back door at 10:15 am and saw us packing up in the kitchen and left. Then again at 10:30 they rang the door, so we called the desk again informing them of the issue and were told 11 was correct. Around 10:50 the cleaning crew’s car parked in front of our cottage and stared at us as we entered the shuttle that we had called to get to the front. We all felt very uneasy and uncomfortably rushed for no reason. It was such a stressful time considering we were rushing a 4 and 11 year old kid to pack while people stayed outside of our place looking in. Throughout that morning someone had come into our cottage 2 times.

Great water pressure, easy access to pool. Fire alarm going made us sleep in the car

It was a fantastic location, very friendly staff and very clean lot. However, we had to contact customer service multiple times and sometimes they had no answer for us. They gave us trash bags, but no kitchen trash can; so I had to hang a garbage bag on a door knob. I sent a message to customer service and they stated the only trashcan was outside. I'm very surprised that they don't provide a simple trashcan to put my trash into. The shower in the main bathroom was semi-clogged which caused the other streams to feel like needles on the skin. It was so bad that my wife and I decided to take showers in the guest room to avoid the pain. I sent a message to customer service and they never even responded to our issue. Finally, this was what was really surprising; the fire alarm started going off at 11pm; it was so loud that we thought the whole complex was going off. It went off after 5 mins, so we decided to keep sleeping. Then it went off again at midnight, then 1am. Then at 2am it was going off every 20 minutes or so. We sent a message, and nothing. We called the front desk and they sent over one of the front desk employees. He said "I tried to disconnect it, but I may not have. If it goes off again, you can hit the reset button." The fire alarms are on the 9-10ft ceilings, and we didnt have a ladder or a broom. When the alarm ultimately went off again, we called the front desk and they said" I'm sorry we don't have maintenance workers right now. " We cried, and then ultimately packed some blankets and pillows into the car and slept there to get some respite.

Disney Vacation

We had a great time visiting Disney and staying at the cottages. it was about 12 min to the resorts and easy to get to. Easy check-in. House was clean, and so cute! We loved our stay and would highly recommend.

July 2021 Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall a great house to rent. I am 25 weeks pregnant and wanted to be close to all the resort amenities and we were! A very short walk to the pool and maybe a 5 min walk to the main club house for food, Disney tickets etc. The house was clean and had what we needed for the week for the most part. The downsides to this rental are that we ran out of toilet paper, family of 3, a few days in because it’s so cheap. So be sure to buy some when you grab your groceries and when they say starter home supplies, they mean it. We brought our own laundry detergent too bc they only provide one load. With only 4 towels and us showering at least twice a day, I was always washing bath towels. Also, the shower water pressure, WOW, it hurts. I could hardly stand to shower and if you get a sun burn, forget about it. Ouch!!! So overall a clean, nice home close to it all. You just have to bring all you need to make the home function for the week but they provide the very basics. Also, it’s Florida and does rain often, the home doesn’t provide any board games or cards, which we would have liked for at least a night or 2, we had 3 days of rained out evenings. So if you want entertainment like that, bring it yourselves.
