We had a marvelous time, spent 3 months there. It had everything we needed. Any problems or questions were answered immediately. Stairs were a challenge but we vowed to get into better shape. We are hoping to book for next year!
My family and I had a fantastic stay at this condo! The accommodations were excellent—spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. It truly felt like a home away from home. The layout was perfect for our group, with two queen-size beds and a futon in the living room. The two-story design was a nice touch, offering privacy with a bedroom and its own bathroom on each floor. There’s also a convenient half bath in the living room area. While the condo had many positives, it’s worth noting that it’s on the third floor with lots of stairs, so it’s not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The location was perfect for what we wanted (a relaxing family vacation) -not super close to downtown but manageable. It’s about a 20-25 minute walk or a quick 4-minute drive. The airport is only 8 minutes away, which was super convenient, and there’s a grocery store just around the corner with great prices. The only downside was the stove. It wasn’t working well—it was fine for making simple breakfasts, but cooking something like a bowl of pasta took almost an hour.Overall, I would highly recommend this place for anyone who doesn’t mind the stairs. It’s cozy, clean, and well-located for a relaxed stay!
Four adults stayed for a week. The location was good but having a car made this trip more adventurous. We had fun touring the “wild side” and went to the ruins. We spent 2 days at Mr. Sanchos beach club and the price seemed worth it ($68 usd per person - all inclusive)
The condo itself was fine and fairly well equipped. Grocery store directly across the street was convenient!
2 full flights of steps to the door, one more to the upper bedroom and a spiral to the upper roof.
Overall we were satisfied and would stay again
This beautifully decorated condo provided us a great location near grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping. We definitely utilized the washing machine and clothes line. The line dried clothes.
My husband loved sunbathing on the private rooftop terrace. We did not use the very highest terrace because the badly rusted railings looked useless, and the view from the lower terrace was fine. Seemed much safer to stay on the first rooftop terrace level with its pretty palapa and nesting pigeons!
We were only a couple of blocks from Jeannie's and from the No Name Bar. Jeannie's had better food and drinks, AND did not charge for using their ladder to access the ocean for snorkeling. But sometimes their ladder is not available for use.
No Name Bar always has ocean access available, but they charge about twenty dollars per person for access, which can be utilized as credit for food and drink. But the food is only so-so.
We could walk to Kondesa for dinner, and we always go there for their lionfish cake appetizer when we are in Cozumel. Taxis and the red, three wheeled moto-taxis are always waiting at Chedraui's. It's cheaper to take the moto-taxis, but the taxis have seatbelts! And the moto-taxis can only service the central area of town. When we took one to the airport (3 dollars), we were dropped off nearby.
Coral Princess Hotel up north has day passes for $54 with credit for about $18 in food/drink. Swim south, then drift north while seeing some great snorkeling. Use taxis to go.
We definitely want to return next year! Very convenient to the beach and to grocery stores. Lovely interior and decor with lots of space
Only problem was with upstairs, shower with sporadic water. Hopefully that can be fixed before our return
This place is super cute, clean and comfortable! It is located right behind the big Chedraui store, so we could walk over for grocery items or any other supplies. It was also easy to walk to lots of restaurants and fun shopping areas!
It is on the third floor, so you do have to walk up some stairs to get in. Not a problem for us, but if you have trouble with stairs, I wouldn't recommend it for you.
We loved sitting up on the rooftop patio each morning!

The property was excellent and as advertised. Great being close to shopping. The water pump failed for a couple of days and I was having issue contacting the host. I Tried through a text in an existing conversation with no response and then tried the number in the facility book that isn't valid, and then contacted through VRBO site. The problem was rectified quickly once communication went through. Also the housekeeper only came twice in our 3 week stay after I asked the host. Overall I would recommend this accomodation.
We enjoyed our stay at the condo. The location is great across from the chedraui grocery store so handy for picking up groceries. Kitchen was well equipped and bedrooms were comfortable. Appreciated the 3 big bottles of water that was supplied. The upstairs bedroom shower did run out of water pressure in the afternoons sometimes but not a big problem. Lounging on the upper deck was very nice.
Very comfortable and clean home. My flight was delayed, and I wasn't able to communicate directly due to issues with my cell phone. The property manager was extremely personable, stayed late to meet me, and overall went what I consider to be above and beyond the norm, to welcome me. Any inquiries that I had were responded to very quickly.
I was staying in Cozumel primarily for daily diving, and I'd rented a car. The location was very walkable to everything that I needed, and I spent many hours exploring the town, finding out of the way restaurants and meeting people.
The grocery store is literally across the street, and I used it many times. My preference is slightly for the Mega, only a couple of blocks further away. I also highly recommend Guido's Restaurant. Both the food and staff are wonderful and very accommodating. I would also like to recommend Crazy King Burritos. Great burritos at a great price. Gracias por su hospitalidad!!
We stayed at this property for a month. The property was clean, comfortable and walking distance to many attractions. The grocery store was across the street. We loved our stay and would definitely return to this property.
This was a very fun place to be! It's funky for sure, and that's what you should be looking for. The 3rd story deck is great, you can really see the city and the clouds rolling in. We hung out under the straw roof watching the rainfall, and sweating.
There is AC in all the rooms, and it was easy to control the home being cool enough for us.
The stairs up to the deck and the master bedroom is narrow and has a few bends to it. If stairs would be hard for you this is important to know.
I think one thing that could be nice to have is a "What to do when Leaving" section in the manual. Even it it's just something light.
Pictures look great, but are very deceiving. Pool is actually a hot tub with no water. Washer and dryer do not work. WiFi is off as much as it is on. Indoor lighting is bad, many lightbulbs need replaced. Sheets, towels and blankets are worn out and should be replaced. Living room furniture is old and feels dirty. I kept it covered with beach towels. Most disappointing was lack of communication/help from property manager. He didn’t even come help with our bags at check out. Worst experience we have ever had in Cozumel.
We very much enjoyed Caribe Sunset condo! The terrace on the rooftop was our favorite place to hangout and relax! The housekeeper did an excellent job and I am giving an extra special shout out to Eddie, the property manager. I left some personal items behind in the condo, and he went way above and beyond duty to ensure that they were returned to me safely! His kindness is greatly appreciated!
The owner was great at communicating with us. We loved our 2 week stay. Close to everything. Only 6 min. From airport. We walked everywhere.Rolindis was excellent food. We went snorkeling at jeanies, good food there too.
Shops are close. We will be back, hopefully 3 weeks next time. We spent our new years 2020 there. Fireworks over the ocean, Rolandis had an amazing sax player, we danced by ocean.what a grand way to bring in 2020!
Rumba also had dancing with live music every night.

Caribe Sunset 2nd Time Around
This is the second year we have stayed at Caribe Sunset and consider it our home in Cozumel. The condo works well for us for a number of reasons. The location is great and out of the way of tourist traffic. The unit itself is well appointed and has tons of Spanish charm, the upstairs master suite walks out onto the rooftop deck with a great view. We staryed longer this year than last and expect an even longer stay, perhaps a month, next year.

Cozumel vacation
The condominium unit was spotless. The location was good. For financial concerns, air conditioning could not be lowered below 24 degrees Celsius (75 degree Fahrenheit). We were informed of this in advance. The only unexpected finding was that the shower in the upper level could not be turned hot enough to our satisfaction: we all had to use the lower level shower. Overall, I think this was a good condominium and worth the price. Would rate it at 3.5 stars.

Great location and very comfortable
There is a grocery store right across the street. Walking distance to excellent restaurants. The beds were very comfortable and the place was clean. Sitting topside on the deck was great! This place has all you need. They even have netflix so you don't have to struggle with the TV in spanish!!! I will be staying here the next time I am in Cozumel.

Very nice Condo, great location
This condo is lovely and well maintained. Tastefully decorated and has everything you need. Location, location, location if you want to walk to town each night or a short taxi ride to the local restaurants back on 65/75th. There is one downside, there is a local bar/disco right next door which does play very loud music early into the morning hours. With all windows shut and aircon on, this is really not disturbing, but it is worth mentioning because in early Nov when you want the windows open to the breeze and the aircon off, you cannot sleep through this music. So be warned.
We experienced one issue with the hot water and Eddie was extremely helpful but was unable to resolve it. We made it work as there were only 3 of us there. For 3 of 4 this place provides plenty of room. $8.00 taxi ride to the new marina for diving and plenty of taxis always right outside the supermarket (2min walk), literally. Good choice.
