Cozy Adirondack style cabin with knotty pine paneling in living room with comfortable denim sofa and chair and a full size futon perfect for one. Adirondack dining set for 3 sits in front of a lake scene wall mural. Bedroom with Cathedral ceiling includes a Queen size bed, ceiling fan and expansive windows over looking the lake. Cedar paneled bathroom with shower. Full Kitchen with stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster. Multiple decks, and pergola dining area overlooking the Lake with gas grill. Large floating Dock at lakeside is perfect for swimming, sunning and fishing. Front yard has abundant flowers and Koi pond. Peaceful, quiet and only minutes from Interstate 88 and Downtown Oneonta; 12 minutes to Cooperstown All Star Village, and Cooperstown Dreams Park and 20 minutes from Cooperstown with Baseball and Museums to explore. Linens provided. Kayaks are available to use. Private entrance ( owners on premise) and parking for one car. Heat and Air Conditioned.

Great Place

Very cozy spot with a lot of charm. Close to Cooperstown that had a lot of amenities. House is on a private drive with a beautiful small lake. We were offered the use of small paddle boats but didn’t use any. The option was nice though. Loved the photo book showcasing the progression of the house over the years. Note that this is adjoined to the owners main home via a breezeway. Some deck space is shared too. They met us with the key and took us through the property. A form of electronic check-in would be better to avoid having to coordinate arrival. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Lakeside retreat

Thank you for the cozy spot to stay at with our pup. I was able to take him on a couple of walks by the lake and appreciate the mapped out directions provided in the guestbook. Last night, we sat by the lake on the beautiful new deck down by the dock and watched the sunset. It was so peaceful. We slept wonderfully in the comfortable bed and enjoyed waking up to the view. The space has everything that we needed, and you can tell that thought has been put into it. Cooperstown is about 15 minutes away and we were able to spend the day at the baseball Hall of Fame.

Peaceful Lakeside Cottage

In town for baseball tournament at All Star Village. Happily our team did well - 6 games into playoffs! Sadly games took us away from this adorable cottage & peaceful lakeside setting. Not enough time here. Would definitely return to fish, swim, kayak, star gaze & relax. Hosts were lovely and available - but only when needed. Photos on VRBO are exactly what you will see.

Beautiful & Perfect!!

The owners are amazing, and the property was perfect. We enjoyed beautiful views of the lake, and relaxing outtings in the kyacks. Great location for going back and forth to Dreams Park to watch our son play baseball. We had our dog, Cooper, with us, and he enjoyed taking walks on the road and meeting all of the neighbor pups along the way. He also loved swimming in the lake with us too! The home was quiet, relaxing and we loved staying there. We had a wonderful experience.

Amazing stay!

We were there for our son’s Cooperstown baseball so we were busy but short time we were able to spend the time there it was just perfect for two of us. We were able to get out from the business and totally relaxed in the nature. Host were so welcomed and nice! We would recommend this cottage to anyone regardless with baseball or no baseball.

Amazing cottage!

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful little cottage next to the lake. Jeff and Lisette are the kindest and most helpful/responsive hosts. We highly recommend this place for a memorable stay while you’re in Cooperstown.

Great stay for Coop Tourney

Loved the location… beautiful, peaceful, quiet lake setting. The owners were very friendly and willing to help with anything I needed. It was a perfect cabin for me being on my own and would have been as well if my wife was able to join. Bed was comfortable and had a cozy family room to watch tv. The only downside was a very strong musty smell that the cabin had. It didn’t bother me that much, but was something that I noticed every time walking in the door. Most likely due to the setting? I loved being able to kayak around the lake or sit comfortably on the deck and dock to enjoy the view. Overall, I enjoyed the stay.

Charming Getaway!

We had such a wonderful time at the property with our golden retriever (who LOVES the water). The property is connected to their home, but was very private and we didn't feel intrusive whatsoever. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to have a lux stay by the lake :)

A great stay at Cooperstown

Visiting Cooperstown Dreams Park for the week, we had a wonderful time at this clean, roomy cottage! A great value at this lakeside location in a quiet neighborhood close to the park, we highly recommend this location to anyone traveling to the area!

Wonderful Lakefront property

We stayed at this wonderful spot right on Goodyear Lake for a week while our son was at All Star Village. It was the perfect location for respite from watching baseball games and exploring Cooperstown. Their lakefront decks/dock are gorgeous, and we enjoyed kayaking and fishing. The house was the perfect size for two adults and a child. The hosts are kind and extremely responsive. We highly recommend it!

Wonderful Lakefront Hideaway!

Absolute Charmer Lakefront house. Exactly as advertised with no disappointments. Close to All-Star Village and downtown Oneonta. Very clean and well maintained, includes everything needed for a wonderful stay. Fantastic multi-tiered deck that leads to a recently upgraded lower dock with additional seating. Choose between upper or lower view for your morning coffee or evening beverage. Owners are close by and quickly respond to any questions or needs. We'll be back for sure!

Off the beaten path

Had a wonderful week courtesy of the hosts. We were in town for a baseball tourney, and this property is approximately 15-20 min from all star village and even closer to dreams park. Beautiful location and scenery, and fabulous hosts. Would stay here again without hesitation!

Most beautiful and magical place

The house is very clean has everything you need and more. The owners are very friendly and help you in every way they can it was a pleasure to have met them and a privilege to share their home. The views from the house and the deck are stunning! The only bad thing is that my stay was too short. Lol definitely recommend for a couple a maybe 1 friend or a family member. Will definitely return!!!

Beautiful View

This cottage is right on the lake. The view is beautiful and there are several miles of walking/hiking/running trails right outside the front door. The hosts are responsive and welcoming. They live nearby but the place is very private.

Excellent Place to Stay on Goodyear Lake

This is a great place to stay near Cooperstown on Goodyear Lake. The cottage is itself a first class accommodation - a spacious one-bedroom cottage that is extraordinarily well done both inside and out. The hosts are gracious and attentive. The cottage sits high above the lake and the views are amazing. The lake is ideal for kayaking and, in addition, has a great trail that runs along the shore opposite the cottage. We intended to go to Cooperstown for a day but spent that day lounging on the deck and walking along the lake. It was to hard to leave.

Cozy, quiet cabin

This was a great couple's retreat. The decks overlooking the lake are impressive, as is the lakeview from the wall of glass in the bedroom with the vaulted ceiling. The rest of the cabin is traditional, nice woodwork, tastefully decorated (think moose and bass), with comfortable over-stuffed couch and a great gas fireplace (the best feature IMHO). The kitchen and bath are both small but fully functional. We enjoyed the beautiful fall foliage, hiking around the cove to the other side of the lake, and our visit to the State Park. If you are not a baseball fan, Cooperstown's Main St doesn't have much else, but we did discover a used bookstore with an impressive variety of titles, and the burger's at Mel's were excellent.

Peaceful Getaway

Beautiful property with amazing views of the lake! Cabin feels like it's in a secret garden with koi pond and flowers all around. Really lovely hikes around the lake and coffee on the porch on the cold mornings, perfect getaway from the city for a few days!

Great house by the lake

Loved the house and the lake was warm and great to swim in. The cabin was very cute and nicely remodeled. Our only desire was that there was a washer and dryer. Would have made all the difference with a 6 night stay.

Why they chose this property

The lake is beautiful and you are tucked away in the Country however so close to shopping and attractions. You can choose to be as busy or quiet as you need to be.

What makes this property unique

We are a small cozy intimate respite providing a place to recharge and relax for our guests. There is a Koi Pond and Perennial gardens greeting you on your way in to the front door and as you walk out the back you overlook Goodyear Lake. The stairs to the lake offer you three different place to sit/eat. Paddle to the Cove, stay in our Bay or travel up the Lake. It's up to you! Take several walks right from the front door and explore the trails along the railroad track, the lake roads OR hike the State Land across the lake.
